Detailed Description
Various exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure will now be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. It should be noted that: the relative arrangement of the components and steps, the numerical expressions, and numerical values set forth in these embodiments do not limit the scope of the present disclosure unless specifically stated otherwise.
Meanwhile, it should be understood that the sizes of the respective portions shown in the drawings are not drawn in an actual proportional relationship for the convenience of description.
The following description of at least one exemplary embodiment is merely illustrative in nature and is in no way intended to limit the disclosure, its application, or uses.
Techniques, methods, and apparatus known to those of ordinary skill in the relevant art may not be discussed in detail, but are intended to be part of the specification where appropriate.
In all examples shown and discussed herein, any particular value should be construed as merely illustrative, and not limiting. Thus, other examples of the exemplary embodiments may have different values.
It should be noted that: like reference numbers and letters refer to like items in the following figures, and thus, once an item is defined in one figure, further discussion thereof is not required in subsequent figures.
As mentioned above, the related behavior of the dual card user in the network in the related art is implementation dependent. Furthermore, the network does not currently have the relevant enhancements for this type of interruption. This causes the mutual influence of the dual-card terminals during the use process, which results in the degradation of the network performance and the user experience of the terminals.
For example, a dual card terminal has two SIM cards, SIM a and SIM B. When the SIM A is in data connection with a corresponding network, the SIM B initiates a service process; in this case, the terminal automatically releases the connection with the network corresponding to the SIM a; however, at this point the SIM a corresponds to the network and it is not clear that SIM a has been disconnected, and the data continues to be scheduled to the terminal. Such network to terminal state asymmetry may cause radio link failures that are beyond expectations.
In view of the above problems, the technical solution of the present disclosure can be realized by the following embodiments.
Fig. 1 illustrates a flow diagram of some embodiments of a method of controlling a network connection of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 1, the method includes: step 110, sending an uplink signaling; step 120, an interrupt command is executed.
In step 110, in response to that the terminal wants to initiate a service with a network corresponding to the target SIM card, an uplink signaling is sent to networks corresponding to other SIM cards of the terminal in advance. And the uplink signaling is newly added at the terminal side and is used for requesting the network corresponding to other SIM cards to be disconnected. For example, the uplink signaling is an RRC connection release request or an RRC connection suspend request newly added at the terminal side.
In step 120, when an interrupt command returned by a network corresponding to another SIM card is received, corresponding operations are executed according to the interrupt command. For example, the interrupt command is an RRC connection release command or an RRC connection suspend command.
In some embodiments, in the case that the interruption command is not received, whether to interrupt the connection between the terminal and the network corresponding to the other SIM card is determined according to the own requirement of the terminal.
In some embodiments, whether an interrupt command is received within a preset time is judged, and corresponding operation is executed according to the interrupt command under the condition that the interrupt command is received within the preset time; and under the condition that the interruption command is not received within the preset time, determining whether to interrupt the connection between the terminal and the network corresponding to other SIM cards according to the self requirement of the terminal.
For example, in response to the terminal sending the uplink signaling, a preset timer is started to determine whether an interrupt command is received within a preset time.
Fig. 2 shows a flow chart of further embodiments of the network connection control method of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 2, a dual card terminal, i.e., a UE (User Equipment), has two SIM cards, SIM a and SIM B. The dual card terminal is about to initiate a service using the corresponding network of the SIM B. For example, the networks corresponding to the SIM a and the SIM B may both be NR (New Radio, New air interface) or LTE (Long Term Evolution) networks; or, the network corresponding to the SIM a is NR, and the network corresponding to the SIM B is LTE. SIM A and SIM B do not divide into primary and secondary cards.
An RRC connection release or suspension request is sent. For example, before the dual-card terminal initiates a service with the network corresponding to SIM B, the terminal initiates an RRC connection release request or an RRC connection suspend request to the network corresponding to SIM a.
A timer is started. For example, after sending an RRC connection release request, the terminal starts a timer; and before the timer is overtime, the feedback signaling of the network corresponding to the SIM A is waited. The feedback signaling may be an RRC connection release command or an RRC connection suspend command.
And judging whether an RRC connection release command or an RRC connection pause command of the network corresponding to the SIM A is received before the timer is overtime.
When the terminal receives an RRC connection release or RRC connection suspend command sent by the network corresponding to the SIM a before the timer expires, the terminal may stop the timer and perform subsequent operations according to the command.
Under the condition that the terminal does not receive the feedback command of the network corresponding to the SIM A before the time-out of the timer, the terminal can judge whether to automatically complete the release of the network corresponding to the SIM A.
In the above embodiment, a new uplink signaling is introduced for the UE to report the RRC connection release or suspension request; introducing a new timer for the UE to wait for the feedback signaling timing of the base station; in case the timer expires, the UE behavior is decided by the UE dependent.
In the above embodiment, the uplink signaling added on the terminal side is used to notify the corresponding network side to interrupt the connection, so as to prevent the network side from still scheduling data to the terminal after the terminal is disconnected from the network side. Therefore, the failure of the wireless link can be avoided, and the network performance is improved.
Fig. 3 illustrates a block diagram of some embodiments of a network connected control device of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 3, the network-connected control device 3 includes a transmission unit 31 and a processing unit 32.
The sending unit 31 sends an uplink signaling to a network corresponding to another SIM card of the terminal in advance in response to that the terminal wants to initiate a service with the network corresponding to the target SIM card. And the uplink signaling is newly added at the terminal side and is used for requesting the network corresponding to other SIM cards to be disconnected. For example, the uplink signaling is an RRC connection release request newly added at the terminal side, or an RRC connection suspend request.
And the processing unit 32 executes corresponding operation according to the interrupt command when receiving the interrupt command returned by the network corresponding to the other SIM card. For example, the interrupt command is an RRC connection release command or an RRC connection suspend command.
In some embodiments, the processing unit 32 determines whether to interrupt the connection between the terminal and the network corresponding to the other SIM card according to the own requirement of the terminal in the case that the interrupt command is not received.
In some embodiments, the processing unit 32 determines whether an interrupt command is received within a preset time; in case that the interrupt command is received within the preset time, the processing unit 32 performs a corresponding operation according to the interrupt command.
In some embodiments, in a case that the processing unit 32 does not receive the interrupt command within the preset time, it is determined whether to interrupt the connection between the terminal and the network corresponding to the other SIM card according to the requirement of the terminal itself.
In some embodiments, the processing unit 32 starts a preset timer in response to sending the uplink signaling, and determines whether an interrupt command is received within a preset time.
In some embodiments, the control device 3 may be disposed on a terminal, or may be disposed on a network side, and is connected to the terminal side.
