The video conference realizes the bidirectional real-time transmission of voice and pictures for users in two or more places, is not limited by regions, is established on the basis of a broadband network, and can provide bidirectional, multipoint and real-time audio and video interaction functions. At present, most of video conference systems are formed by a server and a plurality of terminals into a star structure. Each terminal sends the audio and video stream to be shared to the server, the server can mix the audio and video streams of all terminals in the same room, finally, a mixed audio and video stream is generated and then sent to each terminal, and therefore each terminal can see/hear the audio and video of other terminals.
With the development of network communication technology and internet, people have higher and higher requirements for video quality, 1080p, 2k and 4k resolution videos are gradually popularized, and under the existing network structure, a large amount of flow bandwidth needs to be consumed in the transmission process of streaming media data by a video conference system. In order to solve the above problem, the inventors have made long-term studies and have proposed a video call method according to an embodiment of the present application. The data transmission can be carried out according to the network environment of the terminal equipment in the process of transmitting the video data in the video conference system, so that the network flow bandwidth is saved. The hardware environment of the video call system to which the present application relates will be described first.
As shown in fig. 1, in some embodiments, the video call system 200 includes a server 210, a NAT router 220, a first terminal device 230, and a second terminal device 240. It should be noted that the server 210 may be a Multipoint Control Unit (MCU) server, and the first terminal device 230 and the second terminal device 240 may be terminal devices supporting data storage, data processing, and audio/video output, which are not limited herein.
As an embodiment, the first terminal device 230 and the second terminal device 240 in the same local area network (intranet) do not directly establish a network connection with the server 210, but establish a network connection with the server 210 through the NAT router 220. It should be understood that the first terminal device 230 and the second terminal device 240 may convert the private IP address of their local area network into the public IP address of the external network through the NAT router 220, and then establish a network connection with the server 210. When the first terminal device 230 and the second terminal device 240 in the local area network are connected to the external network, their local area network characteristics (e.g., public network IP and local area network IP) may be uploaded to the server 210 for the other terminal devices to obtain. Embodiments of the present application will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a schematic flowchart illustrating a video call method provided in the present application, where the terminal Device applied in this embodiment may include a computer, a tablet Device (PAD), and a mobile phone, which is not limited herein. As will be explained in detail below with respect to the flow shown in fig. 2, specifically, the method includes: step S110 to step S120.
S110: when detecting that a plurality of terminal devices carry out video call, judging whether the plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network.
In the conversation process of the video conference, the terminal equipment sends the collected audio and video data to the server through the transmission network, and the server processes the received audio and video data of each terminal equipment and further forwards the processed audio and video data to each terminal equipment. When audio and video data are transmitted in a transmission network, if sufficient network bandwidth is not available, good video call quality is difficult to guarantee, and the use of a video conference is influenced. The transmission bandwidth in the local area network is quite abundant, so that the local area network is utilized to transmit audio and video data, and particularly good transmission effect and quality can be brought to timely transmission of streaming media data in a video conference.
In the embodiment of the application, when detecting that a plurality of terminal devices perform video call, a server of a video conference system may determine whether the plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network, and may further perform video data transmission through the local area network. The video call among the plurality of terminal devices may mean that the plurality of terminal devices establish a video call connection through the server, that is, are located in the same video conference room. In some embodiments, when the server detects that multiple terminal devices are in a video call in the same video conference room, it may be determined whether the multiple terminal devices are in the same local area network.
As an embodiment, the server may determine whether the terminal devices in the video conference room are in the same local area network by checking the network configuration of each terminal device in the video conference room. Specifically, when detecting that terminal devices in the same room perform a video conference, the server may obtain IP addresses and Subnet Masks (SM) of all the terminal devices, and if detecting that the Subnet masks are different, it is determined that the terminal devices are not in the same local area network. If the subnet masks are the same, the IP address and the SM of the terminal device are respectively calculated, if the IP address and the SM are the same, the terminal device is in the same local area network, otherwise, the terminal device is not in the same local area network.
For example, the IP addresses of the two terminal devices are 10.178.0.222 and 10.178.1.212, respectively, and the subnet masks thereof are 255.255.0.0, and in the TCP/IP protocol rule, the two IP addresses and the subnet masks are anded to obtain the same operation result 10.178.0.0, so that the two terminal devices belong to a local area network.
As another embodiment, the server may detect whether the MAC addresses of the gateway devices to which the plurality of terminal devices are connected are the same. And if the MAC addresses of the gateway devices connected with the plurality of terminal devices are the same, judging that the plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network. The terminal device may upload the MAC of the gateway connected to the terminal device to the server when accessing the server, or the server may use the MAC address of the first gateway passed through in the network connection request sent by the terminal device as the MAC address of the gateway connected to the terminal device.
S120: and when the plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network, sending a connection instruction to the plurality of terminal devices.
In the embodiment of the application, after the server determines whether the plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network, if the plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network, a connection instruction is sent to the plurality of terminal devices, so that the plurality of terminal devices can perform data transmission in the local area network. The connection instruction is used for instructing a plurality of terminal devices to establish a communication link in the same local area network and transmitting video data in a video call based on the communication link.
In some embodiments, when the server determines that a plurality of terminal devices in the video conference room are in the same local area network and perform a video call, a connection instruction may be sent to the plurality of terminal devices, so as to instruct the plurality of terminal devices to directly establish a communication link between the plurality of terminal devices for transmission of video data. It can be understood that, if a communication link based on a TCP or UDP protocol needs to be established between multiple terminal devices, a local area network IP and a monitoring port of the terminal device that establishes the communication link with itself need to be known first.
In the embodiment of the application, when the server detects that the plurality of terminal devices perform video call, whether the plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network is judged, so that when the plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network, a connection instruction is sent to the plurality of terminal devices, the plurality of terminal devices are instructed to establish a communication link in the same local area network, and video data in the video call are transmitted based on the communication link, so that the plurality of terminal devices can realize video data transmission through the local area network, and the network flow bandwidth of data transmission is saved.
Referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a schematic flow chart illustrating another video call method provided in the present application, where the terminal Device applied in this embodiment may include a computer, a tablet Device (PAD) and a mobile phone, which is not limited herein. As will be explained in detail below with respect to the flow shown in fig. 3, specifically, the method includes: step S210 to step S240.
S210: when detecting that a plurality of terminal devices carry out video call, receiving network information sent by each terminal device in the plurality of terminal devices.
In the embodiment of the present application, in order to enable a plurality of terminal devices to realize transmission of video data through a local area network, when it is detected that the plurality of terminal devices perform a video call, it may be determined whether the plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network, and therefore, before performing the determination operation, network information sent by each of the plurality of terminal devices may be received.
The network information may refer to a public network IP and a local network IP address of the terminal device when the terminal device establishes a network connection with the server. As an embodiment, when the terminal device initiates a network connection request to the server, the server is in a listening state, so that the terminal device can receive its own network information sent by the terminal device. For example, when a user uses a terminal device to establish a video conference, the server may directly acquire and store network information of the terminal device.
S220: and judging whether the plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network or not according to the network information.
In the embodiment of the application, after the server acquires the network information sent by each terminal device, whether the plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network can be judged through the network information, and then the terminal devices can transmit video data in the same local area network. As an embodiment, the server may determine whether the plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network by determining whether the public network address of each terminal device is consistent, specifically, when the public network address of each terminal device is consistent, the server may determine that the plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network, and when the public network address of each terminal device is inconsistent, the server may determine that the plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network by traversing the public network address table.
When a plurality of terminal devices in the same local area network are connected with a public network through the NAT router, different public network addresses may be used. Therefore, as another embodiment, the server may perform the local area network determination by traversing a public network address table, where the public network address table stores all public network IP addresses mapped by NAT routers under the same local area network. It should be noted that the public network IP address in the public network address table may be actively sent by the terminal device.
For example, when the server establishes a connection with the terminal device, the server may send a request capable of acquiring all external public network IP addresses of the local area network where the terminal device is located to the terminal device, and if the terminal device receives the request and returns all external public network IP addresses of the local area network to the server, the server may query whether the respective public network IP addresses of the plurality of terminal devices are in the same public network address table when determining whether the plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network, and then determine whether the plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network. Of course, the public network IP address in the public network address table may also be manually preconfigured, and the specific determination method of the public network address table may not be limited in this application. In addition, when a plurality of terminal devices in the same local area network are connected with the public network through the NAT router, if the ports of the terminal devices connected with the server are random, a plurality of interconnected servers can be set to judge whether the plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network, and the terminal devices can be instructed to be connected with the server for a plurality of times, so that a plurality of public network IP addresses are detected, and whether the terminal devices are in the same local area network is determined.
S230: and when the plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network, sending the local area network address of each terminal device to the plurality of terminal devices.
In the embodiment of the application, a plurality of terminal devices may establish a communication link in the same local area network according to the local area network address, so that when the server determines that the plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network, the local area network address of each terminal device may be sent to the plurality of terminal devices.
As one mode, if the public network IP address of each terminal device is consistent, it may be determined that a plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network, and when the public network address of each terminal device is consistent, the local area network address of each terminal device may be sent to the plurality of terminal devices.
As another mode, if the public network IP address of each terminal device is in the same public network address table, and it can be determined that a plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network, the local area network address of each terminal device may be sent to the plurality of terminal devices when the public network addresses of each terminal device are consistent.
S240: and sending a connection instruction to the plurality of terminal devices.
As an embodiment, after sending the local area network address of each terminal device to the plurality of terminal devices, the server may send a connection instruction to the plurality of terminal devices to instruct the plurality of terminal devices to establish a communication link based on the local area network address, so that the transmission of the video data is performed in the local area network.
Referring to fig. 4, fig. 4 is a timing diagram illustrating a video call method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Specifically, in an application scenario of an enterprise video conference, a terminal device a and a terminal device B are connected to a server of a video conference system and are located in the same video conference room. And the terminal equipment A and the terminal equipment B respectively send the local area network address and the public network address of the terminal equipment A and the terminal equipment B to the server.
And the server respectively receives and stores the local network addresses and the public network addresses of the terminal equipment A and the terminal equipment B. The server can judge that the A and the B belong to the same local area network according to whether the public network addresses of the A and the B are the same. Further, the server transmits a connection instruction and local network addresses of both to the terminal device a and the terminal device B, so that the terminal device a and the terminal device B can establish a communication link and perform transmission of video data. The security of the enterprise video conference is improved, and the confidentiality and the benefits of the enterprise are effectively protected. In addition, when the terminal device a and the terminal device B transmit video data, if a fault occurs, a communication link cannot be established or video data transmission is directly performed, the terminal device a and the terminal device B may use the terminal device C or the terminal device D as a bridge device for communication connection to establish the communication link and transmit data, that is, the terminal device a and the terminal device B may respectively establish a communication link with the terminal device C or the terminal device D, and further, the terminal device a may transmit the video data to the terminal device B through the terminal device C.
In the embodiment of the application, when the server detects that the plurality of terminal devices carry out video call, the server receives network information sent by each terminal device in the plurality of terminal devices, whether the plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network is judged according to the network information, when the plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network, the local area network address of each terminal device is sent to the plurality of terminal devices, meanwhile, a connection instruction is sent to the plurality of terminal devices, a communication link is established among the plurality of terminal devices, the transmission of video data in the local area network is directly carried out, and therefore the network flow bandwidth of data transmission is saved.
Referring to fig. 5, fig. 5 is a schematic flowchart illustrating another video call method provided in the present application, where the terminal Device applied in this embodiment may include a computer, a tablet Device (PAD), and a mobile phone, which is not limited herein. As will be explained in detail below with respect to the flow shown in fig. 5, specifically, the method includes: step S310 to step S350.
S310: when detecting that a plurality of terminal devices carry out video call, judging whether the plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network.
S320: and when the plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network, sending a connection instruction to the plurality of terminal devices.
In the embodiment of the present application, the details of step S310 and step S320 may refer to the contents in the foregoing embodiments, and are not described herein again.
S330: and when the plurality of terminal devices are not in the same local area network, acquiring video data of each terminal device in the plurality of terminal devices in the video call.
In the application embodiment, when the server determines that the plurality of terminal devices are not in the same local area network, the server may acquire video data of each of the plurality of terminal devices in a video call, so as to transmit the video data through a public network. In one embodiment, after the server establishes a connection with a plurality of terminal devices, the server may obtain video data of each terminal device through a public network.
S340: and synchronously updating the video data to the plurality of terminal devices.
In the application embodiment, after the server acquires the video data of each terminal device in the video call from the plurality of terminal devices, the acquired video data may be further forwarded to each terminal device in the same video conference room.
In some embodiments, please refer to fig. 6, and fig. 6 shows a flowchart of a video call method according to an embodiment of the present application. Specifically, when the server detects that a plurality of terminal devices perform a video call, it may be determined whether the plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network.
As an embodiment, if the plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network, a connection instruction may be sent to the plurality of terminal devices, so as to instruct the plurality of terminal devices to establish a communication link in the same local area network, and transmit video data in a video call based on the communication link, and further, a mixed flow instruction may be sent to the plurality of terminal devices.
In the communication process of the video conference, each terminal device sends audio and video streams to be shared to the server, the server can mix the audio and video streams of all the terminal devices in the same room, finally a mixed audio and video stream is generated and then sent to each terminal device, and therefore the audio and video of other terminal devices can be seen/heard by each terminal device. However, in a real application scene, the server is used as an audio-video mixer, and a large amount of computing resources are consumed.
Therefore, in the embodiment of the application, when the server determines that a plurality of terminal devices in the same room are in the same local area network in the video conference, the acquired audio and video streams can be sent to the terminal devices, and the terminal devices are instructed to perform mixed flow operation respectively, so that the computing resources of the server are saved, and the quality of the video conference is improved.
Referring to fig. 7, fig. 7 is a diagram illustrating an architecture of a video conference method according to this embodiment. The terminal device a, the terminal device b, the terminal device c and the terminal device d are located in the same local area network, and communication links are established between the terminal device a, the terminal device b, the terminal device c and the terminal device d in pairs. For example, when the terminal device a wants to share its audio/video stream, the server may notify the terminal device a to send the shared audio/video stream to the other three terminal devices respectively by using the communication links in the local area network, and at the same time, the server sends a mixed flow instruction to each terminal device, so that each terminal device performs mixed flow operation.
As another embodiment, if the plurality of terminal devices are not in the same local area network, the server may obtain video data of each terminal device in the plurality of terminal devices in a video call, and further obtain a performance state of the server, so as to determine whether the performance state of the server satisfies a preset state.
And when the performance state of the server meets a preset state, performing mixed flow operation on the video data of each terminal device to obtain mixed flow target video data. The performance state refers to an index used by the server to measure the performance of the server. Specifically, the performance status may include an index that can be used to determine the operation performance of the server, such as computing power of the server, response time, computing efficiency of a Central Processing Unit (CPU), and memory utilization, which is not limited herein.
The preset state may be that, at the present time, the performance state of the server can meet a condition for performing the mixed flow operation, that is, the computing power possessed by the server can be used for performing the mixed flow operation, and the preset state may be preset, for example, the preset state of the server is preset to be a range where the memory utilization rate is 30% to 60%, and when it is detected that the memory utilization rate of the server is within the range, the mixed flow operation may be determined. Therefore, when the performance state of the server meets the preset state, the mixed flow operation can be performed on the video data of each terminal device, the mixed flow target video data is obtained, and further, the target video data is synchronously sent to the plurality of terminal devices in the same room, so that the video data can be directly displayed on the terminal devices.
In addition, when the server detects that the performance state of the server does not meet the preset state, the server can send the acquired multi-channel video data to the terminal equipment and send a mixed flow instruction to the terminal equipment, so that the terminal equipment is instructed to perform mixed flow operation.
In the embodiment of the application, when the server detects that the plurality of terminal devices carry out video call, whether the plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network is judged, when the plurality of terminal devices are in the same local area network, a connection instruction is sent to the plurality of terminal devices, and meanwhile, a mixed flow instruction is sent to the plurality of terminal devices. Therefore, the video data of the video call are transmitted in the local area network, the data transfer by the server is not needed, the network flow bandwidth is saved, and the computing resources of the server are saved by carrying out mixed flow operation on the terminal equipment. When the plurality of terminal devices are not in the same local area network, video data of each terminal device in the plurality of terminal devices in a video call are obtained, and the video data are synchronously updated to the plurality of terminal devices. Thereby effectively utilizing the computing resources of the server.
