Background
The electronic ink screen is an innovative information display technology, and can display the common effect of paper. Ghosting is a difficult point which has been difficult to overcome. Multiple swipes often result in a previously displayed outline of the image on the electronic ink screen, resulting in a poor reading experience. The reason for this is that the display content of a single dot of the electronic ink screen is interfered by adjacent dots, and thus only the portion that is distinguished between two frames of images is refreshed without affecting the unchanged portion, which results in the case that the black degree of black ink is different, and the white ink is not completely white, which results in the occurrence of afterimages.
To overcome this problem, it is conventional practice to perform a full-screen reverse refresh after a fixed number of refreshes. The method is characterized in that all electronic ink is added to the maximum or minimum voltage, all electronic ink is cleared, and the adjustment is restarted from the initial state, so that all electronic ink can be uniformly displayed.
However, the frequent use of full-screen reverse color refresh will result in a very strong flickering feeling of the screen. In addition, since the screen is always refreshed in reverse color and then refreshed in content, the display speed is delayed, and the display effect is affected.

Detailed Description
The embodiment of the invention provides an electronic ink screen refreshing method and device, electronic equipment and a storage medium, and aims to solve the technical problem that in the prior art, the user experience is influenced due to the fact that screen flicker is too strong when full-screen reverse color refreshing is frequently used.
In order to make the objects, features and advantages of the present invention more obvious and understandable, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the accompanying drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the embodiments described below are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating steps of a method for refreshing an electronic ink screen according to an embodiment of the present invention.
The invention provides an electronic ink screen refreshing method which specifically comprises the following steps:
in the embodiment of the invention, an external input detector and a timer can be added to the system level of the electronic ink screen, wherein the external input detector is used for monitoring the external input signal of the current system. In one embodiment, the external input detector may be a button, a touch screen, a mouse, a trackball, etc. for sensing external contact.
When an input starting event of external input is read by the external input detector, the screen refreshing component marks an optimized state for eliminating ghost, and informs the screen refreshing component of the electronic ink screen to receive the content to be drawn of the content renderer but not update the current screen.
in the embodiment of the invention, when the electronic ink screen is in the optimized state of eliminating the afterimage, the current state of the external input detector and the timing state of the timer can be monitored in real time. The current state of the external input detector is used for judging whether the external input behavior is terminated, and the timing state of the timer is used for judging the refreshing time of the electronic ink screen.
And 103, refreshing the electronic ink screen according to the current state and the timing state.
After the current state of the external input detector and the timing state of the timer are obtained, the electronic ink screen can be refreshed.
According to the invention, the timing for refreshing the electronic ink screen is determined by setting the optimized state for eliminating the afterimage and monitoring the current state of the external input detector and the timing state of the timer in real time, so that the refreshing mode of the electronic ink screen is changed, the problem of too strong screen flicker caused by frequently using full-screen reverse color refreshing is avoided, and the user experience is enhanced.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating steps of a method for refreshing an electronic ink screen according to another embodiment of the present invention. The method specifically comprises the following steps:
when an input starting event of external input is read by the external input detector, the screen refreshing component marks an optimized state for eliminating ghost, stops the real-time updating of the drawn content, and informs the screen refreshing component of the electronic ink screen to receive the content to be drawn of the content drawing device but not update the current screen.
in the embodiment of the invention, when the electronic ink screen is in the optimized state of eliminating the afterimage, the current state of the external input detector and the timing state of the timer can be monitored in real time. The current state of the external input detector is used for judging whether the external input behavior is terminated, and the timing state of the timer is used for judging the refreshing time of the electronic ink screen.
in the embodiment of the present invention, when the screen refreshing component flag enters the ghost elimination optimization state, a timer may be started at the same time, and the timer may be a time threshold timer for calculating a time threshold. When the current state of the external input detector is an input state and the timing state of the timer is a timing termination state, namely the timing duration reaches a time threshold, the content to be drawn in the screen refreshing assembly can be updated to the display interface of the electronic ink screen in real time. After the update is completed, the real-time update of the drawing content is suspended again and the timer is reset.
In another example, the timer may be a time threshold countdown timer for counting down the time threshold, and the updating operation is performed when the current state of the external input detector is the input state and the counting time of the time threshold countdown timer is counted down. The present application does not specifically limit the type of timer.
in the embodiment of the invention, a counter can be added in the system level of the electronic ink screen for counting the resetting times of the timer.
When the timer is reset, refreshing the count value of the counter, adding 1 to the counter value on the original basis every time the timer is reset before the count value reaches a preset threshold value, performing global refreshing on the electronic ink screen once until the count value of the counter reaches the preset threshold value, and resetting the counter of the counter.
And step 206, ending the ghost elimination optimization state when the current state is the input termination state.
In the embodiment of the invention, when the current state of the external input detector is detected to be the input end, the screen refreshing component marks that the state is away from the ghost elimination optimization state, the current state of the timer and the counter is ended, and meanwhile, the real-time updating of the screen content drawing is resumed.
It should be noted that, when different contents need to be displayed, the system can configure different time thresholds for different scenes and store the time thresholds in the database, so that a better display effect can be achieved in different situations.
Further, in order that a user may use the same personal settings across devices, the database may be connected with a cloud server, from which the database may be backed up and restored. When a user sets personal optimization parameters in the device a, for example, a time threshold is set to be 10ms/50ms/100ms, a count threshold of global refresh is set to be 2/5/8, and the like, the personal setting of the device a may be backed up by the cloud server. When the user uses the device B, the personal setting of the device a backed up before can be restored to the device B from the cloud server as needed, so that the device a and the device B can use the same set of setting parameters. The trouble that the user needs to set each time when the user changes the equipment is avoided.
