In the embodiment 1, the following embodiments are not to be considered in all respects
The animal litter box 1 of the present embodiment is a litter box for animals such as cats kept indoors. The term "animal" as used herein includes not only so-called pets such as cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, but also young animals such as tigers and lions. The "user" of the animal litter box 1 refers to a person who is a farmer or a grower of animals and manages the animal litter box 1. The animal litter box 1 is used by being mounted on a mounting surface G such as an indoor floor.
< integral Structure of animal toilet 1 >
Fig. 1 is a schematic perspective view of an animal litter box 1 according to the embodiment. Fig. 2 is an exploded explanatory view of the animal litter box 1. Fig. 3 is a diagram illustrating the structure of the animal litter box 1. In the following description, three directions orthogonal to each other are referred to as a front-rear direction, a left-right direction, and an up-down direction. A center line C-C of the animal litter box 1 in fig. 4A and the like shows the center in the right-left direction, and the animal litter box 1 has a shape symmetrical to the center line C-C in the right-left direction.
As shown in fig. 1, 2, and 3, the animal litter box 1 includes an upper container 10, a main body 20, a tray 30, a support container 40, a cover 50, and an output main body 60. The upper container 10 is disposed from above the main body 20, and the cover 50 is disposed above the main body 20 and the upper container 10. The tray 30 is disposed inside the support container 40, and the support container 40 in a state where the tray 30 is accommodated (supported) is accommodated in the main body 20 so as to be drawable forward of the main body 20. The main body 20 is mounted on the output main body 60 from above.
When used as an animal litter box, a plurality of granular excrement treatment agents (not shown) are placed on the bottom surface of the inside of the upper container 10, and an absorbent sheet (not shown) is disposed in the receiving portion 31 of the tray 30. The excrement disposal material is a so-called cat litter, which is a granular disposal material that absorbs or permeates excrement such as urine of animals. The excrement disposal material has water repellency and allows a large amount of liquid to permeate through the liquid absorbent member. If an excrement treating agent which easily absorbs liquid is used, the excrement treating agent absorbs a large amount of urine, and it becomes difficult to accurately measure the urine amount. However, even a water-repellent excrement treatment agent may absorb a certain amount of urine. In the case of using such excrement, the amount of urine may be corrected according to the type of excrement treatment material used. The absorbent sheet is a sheet member capable of absorbing liquid such as excrement (urine), and a rectangular sheet member obtained by laminating and joining a liquid-permeable front sheet, a liquid-retaining intermediate sheet, and a liquid-impermeable back sheet can be used. Hereinafter, the animal litter box 1 in a state of use in which the animal litter box 1 is mainly used will be described, and the excrement disposal agent and the absorbent sheet are not shown in the drawings and the like.
Structure of upper container 10
Fig. 4A is a schematic plan view of the upper container 10. Fig. 4B is a schematic side view of the upper container 10. The upper container 10 is a bottomed and uncovered container, and has an upper container bottom 11 and an upper container curved portion (upper container wall portion) 12 on the bottom surface.
The upper container bottom 11 has a substantially rectangular shape in plan view, and includes a perforated region H in which a plurality of holes H penetrating in the vertical direction are formed, and a non-perforated region N in which no hole H is formed. The hole region H is provided in the center of the upper container bottom 11, and the non-hole region N is provided in the peripheral edge portion surrounding the hole region H. Specifically, the upper container bottom 11 includes a hole area H having a hole H and a non-hole area N having no hole H around the hole area H on the same plane as a flat plane. Thus, when the perforated region H is covered with the excrement treating agent, the excrement treating agent may be uniformly in a flat state, and the perforated region H can be easily covered as compared with a case where the perforated region H is provided in the upper container curved portion 12. In particular, even when the animal's legs have opened the excrement treating agent after excretion, the user can easily cover the hole h with the excrement treating agent, and the possibility that the odor of the excrement received by the tray 30 will be released to the outside of the animal toilet 1 through the hole h can be reduced. The opening region H is a region having a predetermined area and a length Lh in the front-rear direction and a length Mh in the left-right direction, and is a region surrounded by a straight line that is tangent to the hole H located most forward from the front side, a straight line that is tangent to the hole H located most left from the left side, a straight line that is tangent to the hole H located most rearward from the rear side, a straight line that is tangent to the hole H located most right from the right side, and curved portions that are connected while 4 corners where these straight lines intersect each other are tangent to the hole H. The opening region H will be described later. Each hole h has a long shape and is sized to allow urine (liquid) in animal excrement to pass therethrough but not feces (solid) to pass therethrough.
Upper container curved portion 12 is a portion curved upward from upper container bottom 11, and is a wall portion constituting an outer wall of upper container 10. The upper container curved portion 12 is a region extending upward from the entire peripheral edge portion of the upper container bottom portion 11.
< structure of main body portion 20 >
Fig. 5 is a schematic plan view of the main body 20. As shown in fig. 2 and 5, the body 20 is a member surrounded by wall surfaces without a bottom surface and an upper surface. The upper side has an upper opening 21, the lower side has a lower opening 22, the front side has a front opening 23, the inner side has body side walls (side walls) 24, the inner front side has a body recess 25, and the inner rear side has a body rear wall 26.
The upper opening 21 and the lower opening 22 are substantially rectangular openings that penetrate in the vertical direction. The upper tank 10 is disposed in the upper opening 21, and supports the upper tank 10 at the upper end of the body 20. The lower opening 22 is smaller than the upper opening 21 and larger than an upper output portion 61 described later. When the main body 20 is mounted on the output main body 60, the lower end of the lower opening 22 of the main body 20 contacts the lower output part 62 at a position outside the upper output part 61. The front opening 23 is a substantially rectangular opening provided over substantially the entire region in the left-right direction at a lower portion of the front wall surface of the main body 20, and is smaller than the upper opening 21 and the lower opening 22. The main body side wall portions 24 extend in the front-rear direction from both side portions of the front opening portion 23, respectively, and restrict movement of the support container 40 in the left-right direction in the accommodated state (use state). The main body recess 25 is a recess provided in the inner front portion and recessed downward, and extends in the left-right direction. The support container projection 44 of the support container 40 described later is fitted into the main body recess 25, whereby the movement of the support container 40 in the front-rear direction is regulated. The main body rear wall portion 26 is provided at a central portion in the left-right direction of the inner rear side portion, and extends along the left-right direction. The movement of the support container 40 in the front-rear direction is restricted so that the inserted support container 40 does not move to a position rearward of a predetermined position.
< structure of tray 30 and supporting container 40 >
Fig. 6 is a diagram illustrating the arrangement of the main body 20, the tray 30, and the support container 40 in a use state. In fig. 6, the upper container 10 and the cover 50 are omitted for convenience. As shown in fig. 6, in the use state, the tray 30 is accommodated inside the support container 40, and the support container 40 is accommodated inside the main body 20. Fig. 7 is a schematic plan view of a state where the tray 30 is disposed in the support container 40. Fig. 8 is a schematic plan view of the support container 40. Fig. 9 is a schematic plan view of the bottom surface of the support container 40. The center line X-X in fig. 6 to 8 is the center line of the inner region 42U.
As shown in fig. 2 and 7, the tray 30 has a receiving portion 31 in the center portion and a supported portion 32 above the receiving portion 31. The receiving portion 31 is a flat, substantially rectangular shape surrounded on four sides by wall surfaces, and receives excrement (specifically urine) passing through the hole h. The length of the receiving unit 31 in the front-rear direction is Lt and the length in the left-right direction is Mt. The supported portion 32 is provided outside the receiving portion 31 and above the receiving portion 31, and has a planar upper surface and a planar lower surface. The supported portion 32 is a portion supported by the supporting portion 41 when the supporting container 40 is moved in a state where the tray 30 is accommodated in the supporting container 40. In the use state, the supported portion 32 is separated from the supporting portion 41.
As shown in fig. 2, 7, 8, and 9, the support container 40 includes a support portion 41, a wall portion 42, a pull-out portion 43, and a support container convex portion 44. The wall portion 42 includes a front wall portion 42a, a left side wall portion 42b, a right side wall portion 42c, and a rear wall portion 42d, and an area surrounded by the front wall portion 42a, the left side wall portion 42b, the right side wall portion 42c, and the rear wall portion 42d is an inner area 42U. The support portion 41 is a member for supporting the tray 30, and is provided in the inner region 42U. Specifically, the support portions 41 are provided continuously at the same height over the entire peripheral edge portion of the inner region 42U, the front and both side support portions 41 are wall members having a constant width in the left-right direction and the front-rear direction, respectively, and the rear support portion 41 is a planar member extending from the rear side wall portion 42d toward the front side (see fig. 2 and the like). When the support container 40 is pulled out from the main body portion 20, the supported portion 32 of the tray 30 is placed on the upper portion of the support portion 41, and the support portion 41 supports the tray 30, whereby the tray 30 is accommodated in the support container 40. The pull-out portion 43 is provided at a position on the front side of the front side wall portion 42a, and is provided with a portion to be gripped by a user when the support container 40 is pulled out to the front side from the main body portion 20.
Two support container projections 44 are provided on the bottom surface of the support container 40. The two support container projections 44 have substantially the same size and project downward in a substantially rectangular shape. The first and second substrates are arranged at the same position in the front-rear direction. In the use state, the support container convex portion 44 is fitted into the main body concave portion 25 of the main body portion 20, and movement of the support container 40 in the front-rear direction is restricted. By pulling out the support container 40 with a predetermined force, the support container projection 44 can be removed from the fitted state with the main body recess 25, and the support container can be pulled out forward of the main body 20.
Structure of cover 50
Fig. 10 is a schematic plan view of the animal litter box 1 in a used state. As shown in fig. 1, 2, and 10, the cover 50 is disposed above the upper container 10 and the main body 20, and has a cover opening 51 on the upper side. The cover 50 covers the front portion of the upper opening of the upper container 10. The hood 50 reduces the possibility that the excrement treatment agent that has been tampered with by the animal is discharged to the outside of the animal litter box 1. In the animal litter box 1, by covering the front side portion of the upper container 10, the following possibility is reduced: when the animal excretes toward the rear side and then the animal uses the rear leg to pull the excrement treatment agent, the excrement treatment agent is discharged to the outside of the animal toilet 1.
< structure of output main body portion 60 >)
As shown in fig. 2, the output main body portion 60 includes an upper output portion 61 and a lower output portion 62 located below the upper output portion 61. The upper output portion 61 and the lower output portion 62 each have a rectangular shape in plan view and have a predetermined thickness. The upper output portion 61 is mounted on the lower output portion 62. The upper output portion 61 has a tray contact portion 61a on the upper surface, with which the tray 30 contacts, and at least one upper load sensor (not shown) as an output portion inside the upper output portion 61. The tray contact portion 61a is flat over the entire area of the upper output portion 61. The lower output unit 62 includes a lower load sensor 63 as an output unit and a control unit (not shown). The lower load sensors 63 are provided at four corners of the bottom surface of the lower output unit 62, protrude downward, and support the entire leg portions of the animal litter box 1. The upper and lower load sensors 63 are cylindrical compression sensors that convert applied forces into electric signals and output the electric signals.
The control unit is connected to the upper load sensor and the lower load sensor 63 via wired or wireless signal lines, and receives signals output from the respective load sensors. The control unit includes a communication unit (not shown), a storage unit (not shown), and a processing unit (not shown). The communication unit is a part that performs wireless communication with terminals such as a load sensor, a smartphone, and a tablet terminal. The storage unit includes a RAM, a ROM, and the like, and is a portion for storing various data and programs. For example, the detected weight before excretion, the weight of excrement, the number of excretion times, a correction value associated with the excrement treatment agent, and the like can be stored. The processing unit is constituted by a CPU or the like, and is a part for performing various calculations. For example, calculation processing is performed to calculate the weight of excrement from the respective detection results such as the weight before excretion and the weight after excretion stored in the storage unit.
[ MEANS FOR MEASURING THE WEIGHT OF EXCREMENT BY USE OF ANIMAL-USE TOILET 1 ]
Fig. 11 is a schematic view of a cross section shown by an arrow a-a view in fig. 10. In fig. 11, the upper container 10 and the cover 50 are omitted. As described above, in the tray 30 in the state where the supporting container 40 is pulled out from the main body portion 20, the supported portion 32 of the tray 30 is supported by the supporting portion 41 that supports the container 40. On the other hand, in the use state, the bottom surface of the tray 30 is supported by the upper output portion 61 while being in contact with the upper output portion 61, and is placed on the upper output portion 61 without being in contact with the support portion 41 that supports the container 40. The main body 20 having the upper container 10 and the cover 50, the support container 40, and the upper output unit 61 having the tray 30 mounted thereon are mounted on the lower output unit 62. Accordingly, the gravity of the tray 30 acts on the upper discharging portion 61, and the gravity of the upper container 10, the main body 20, the support container 40, and the cover 50 does not act on the upper discharging portion 61. That is, in the case where the tray 30 receives excrement, the upper output portion 61 does not detect the weight of the upper container 10, the main body portion 20, the support container 40, the cover 50, and the animal, but the upper load sensor detects the weight of the tray 30 and the excrement. The absorbent sheet is applied as the weight of the tray 30, and the excrement treatment agent is applied as the weight of the upper container 10.
A method for measuring the weight of excrement is specifically described. The storage unit stores in advance a weight detected as a force received by the upper load sensor and a weight detected as a force received by the lower load sensor 63 in a state where the animal is not placed in the animal litter box. That is, the results of the weights of the tray 30 and the absorbent sheet detected by the upper load sensor are set as the initial tray weight, and the results of the weights of the upper container portion 10, the main body portion 20, the support container 40, the cover 50, and the excrement treatment agent detected by the lower load sensor are set as the initial body weight, and are stored in the storage portion in advance.
When an animal such as a cat enters the inside of the upper container 10 from the front side of the animal litter box 1, the force received by the lower load sensor 63 increases as the weight of the upper container 10 (the main body portion 20) increases. At this time, the lower load sensor 63 outputs a signal corresponding to the received force. The control unit that receives the signal stores the detection result received as the signal in the storage unit as the pre-excretion weight, and the processing unit calculates the difference between the pre-excretion weight and the initial body weight stored in the storage unit to obtain the weight (body weight) of the animal.
When the animal urinates on the upper container bottom 11, the urine passes through the gap between the excrement disposal agents and the through hole h and falls down to the receiving portion 31 of the tray 30. As a result, the weight of the tray 30 receiving urine increases, the force received by the upper load sensor from the tray 30 increases, and the upper load sensor outputs a signal corresponding to the force received by the tray 30. The control unit stores the detection result received as the signal as the weight of the post-excretion tray. The processing unit calculates the difference between the initial tray weight and the post-excretion tray weight stored in the storage unit, and obtains the weight of the animal's excrement (urine).
The control unit transmits the obtained weight of the excrement to the terminal of the user via the communication unit and can display the weight on a screen of the terminal. The control unit may transmit and display various data obtained without being limited to the weight of the excrement. The obtained data include the number of excretions, the time at which the excretion was performed, and the body weight of the animal. Further, the accumulation of each data may be shown in the figures and tables.
< about the opening region H and the tray abutting portion 61a >
Fig. 12 is a diagram illustrating the arrangement of the tray contact portion 61a, the hole area H, and the receiving portion 31. In fig. 12, for convenience, the tray abutting portion 61a and the receiving portion 31 which cannot be seen are shown by solid lines, respectively. As shown in fig. 12, the length Lh of the opening region H in the front-rear direction is shorter than the length Ls of the tray contact portion 61a in the front-rear direction (Lh < Ls), and the rear end of the tray contact portion 61a is located on the front side of the rear end of the receiving portion 31. Further, the length Mh in the left-right direction of the aperture region H is shorter than the length Ms in the left-right direction of the tray contact portion 61a (Mh < Ms).
The tray contact portion 61a of the animal litter box 1 is narrower than the receiving portion 31 of the tray 30 and is provided inside the receiving portion 31 of the tray 30. In other words, the length Ls in the front-rear direction of the tray abutment portion 61a is shorter than the length Lt in the longitudinal direction of the receiving portion 31, and the length Ms in the left-right direction of the tray abutment portion 61a is shorter than the length Mt in the left-right direction of the receiving portion 31. This is because the receiving portion 31 is an area for receiving excrement (urine), and in order to reduce the possibility of leakage of excrement to the outside of the tray 30 or the outside of the animal litter box 1, it is preferable that the receiving portion 31 has a wider area. In addition, the receiving portion 31 is also a region where the absorbent sheet is disposed, and the absorbent sheet is disposed more widely, so that it becomes easier to absorb excrement more quickly.
However, the tray 30 of the animal litter box 1 in the use state is placed on the tray contact portion 61a and is supported by the upper output portion 61. The tray contact portion 61a is narrower than the area of the receiving portion 31, and a portion that does not directly contact the tray contact portion 61a is generated on the bottom surface of the receiving portion 31. In general, when the animal excrets toward the rear side of the animal litter box 1, excrement is likely to accumulate behind the tray 30. Conventionally, in the case of using an animal litter box in which the rear end of the tray abutting portion is located forward of the rear end of the receiving portion, if the fallen excrement is received in a region of the tray rearward in the front-rear direction of the tray abutting portion, the tray is in an unstable state, and measurement of the excrement is liable to become inaccurate as compared with a case where the excrement is received in a region of the receiving portion that overlaps the tray abutting portion in the up-down direction. If the unstable state becomes serious in a region where the excrement is accumulated in the receiving portion and does not come into contact with the tray contact portion, there is a possibility that: the tray is tilted, or the tilted tray comes into contact with the main body and the support container, and the weight of excrement (the weight of the tray receiving excrement) cannot be accurately measured.
In this regard, as in the animal litter box 1, by providing the rear end of the opening region H at the same position as the rear end of the tray contact portion 61a or at a position forward of the rear end of the tray contact portion 61a, the excrement falling from the upper container 10 to the tray 30 can be easily dropped into the region of the tray contact portion 61 a. This makes it possible to bring the bottom surface of the tray 30 into contact with the tray contact portion 61a in a stable state and receive excrement in a stable state, and therefore, it becomes easy to accurately measure the weight of excrement (the weight of the tray 30 receiving excrement).
Fig. 13 is a diagram illustrating the tray 30 and the support container 40 in a state in which the tray 30 is used and is disposed closer to the front-most side wall portion 42a in the front-rear direction. The distance in the front-rear direction from the rear end of the hole area H to the rear end of the tray contact portion 61a is set to the 1 st distance L1 (fig. 12). As shown in fig. 13, in the use state, and in a state where the tray 30 is disposed closer to the front-most side wall portion 42a in the front-rear direction, the distance between the rear end of the tray 30 and the rear end of the inner area 42U becomes the 2 nd distance L2 at the center (center line C-C) in the left-right direction. As shown in the enlarged view of fig. 13, the 2 nd distance L2 is the distance between the rear end 30e of the tray 30 and the rear end 42Ue of the inside area U at the center line C-C. In this case, the 1 st distance L1 is preferably not less than the 2 nd distance L2 (L1. gtoreq.L 2). In other words, in the use state, the state in which the tray 30 is disposed closer to the front-most side wall portion 42a in the front-rear direction is such that: the tray 30 is moved forward by the amount of the 2 nd distance L2 compared to the state where the tray 30 is closest to the rear side wall portion 42 d. Therefore, even in the use state, by setting the 1 st distance L1 to be equal to or greater than the 2 nd distance L2 in the state where the tray 30 is positioned at the forefront, it becomes easy to receive excrement falling from the upper container 10 to the tray 30 in the region overlapping the tray contact portion 61a in the vertical direction. As a result, the bottom surface of the tray 30 is easily brought into contact with the tray abutting portion 61a in a stable state, and the excrement is easily received in a stable state, so that the weight of the excrement is easily measured more accurately.
Further, the length of the main body concave portion 25 of the main body portion 20 in the front-rear direction is M25 (fig. 5), and the length of the support container convex portion 44 of the support container 40 in the front-rear direction is L44 (fig. 9). At this time, if the difference between the length M25 and the length L44 is set to the 3 rd distance L3(L3 is equal to M25-L44), it is more preferable that the 1 st distance L1 (fig. 12), which is the distance in the front-rear direction from the rear end of the perforated region H to the rear end of the tray contact portion 61a, be equal to or greater than the 3 rd distance L3 (L1 ≧ L3). In the use state, the support container convex portion 44 is fitted to the main body concave portion 25, but the support container convex portion 44 can move by the 3 rd distance L3 in the front-rear direction inside the main body concave portion 25. When the support container projection 44 is located at the position closest to the front side of the main body recess 25, the support container 40 is closer to the front side by the 3 rd distance L3 than when the support container projection 44 is located at the position closest to the rear side of the main body recess 25. That is, the receiving portion 31 of the tray 30 approaches the front side by the 3 rd distance L3. Therefore, by setting the 1 st distance L1 to be equal to or greater than the 3 rd distance L3, it becomes easy to receive excrement falling from the upper container 10 to the tray 30 in a region vertically overlapping with the tray contact portion 61 a. Thereby, the bottom surface of the tray 30 is easily brought into contact with the tray abutting portion 61a in a stable state, and the excrement is easily received in a stable state, and it becomes easy to measure the weight of the excrement more accurately.
More preferably, the 1 st distance L1 is not less than the sum of the 2 nd distance L2 and the 3 rd distance L3 (L1. gtoreq.L 2+ L3). In the fitting state in which the tray 30 is closest to the front side wall portion 42a and the support container 40 is disposed at the position closest to the front side, even when the animal excrets toward the rear side of the animal litter box 1, it becomes easy for the excrement falling from the upper container 10 to the tray 30 to fall in the region overlapping with the tray contact portion 61a in the vertical direction. This makes it easy to cause the gravity of the tray 30 to act on the tray contact portion 61a in a stable state, and makes it easy to more accurately measure the weight of excrement.
As shown in fig. 12, a lateral end of one side (for example, the left side) in the left-right direction of the aperture region H is preferably located at the same position as a lateral end of one side (the left side) of the tray contact portion 61a, or is preferably located inside the lateral end of one side (the left side) of the tray contact portion 61 a. In this way, even when the animal excretes toward one side in the left-right direction of the animal litter box 1, the animal litter can be received in a state where the bottom surface of the tray 30 is stably in contact with the tray contact portion 61 a. Therefore, the possibility that the excrement accumulates on one side of the tray 30 in the left-right direction and the excrement accumulates in the region of the receiving portion 31 not in contact with the tray contact portion 61a, and the tray 30 inclined or tilted is brought into contact with the main body portion 20 and the support container 40 can be reduced, and the weight of the excrement can be measured more accurately.
The length from the side end on one side (for example, the left side) in the left-right direction of the aperture region H to the side end on one side (the left side) of the tray contact portion 61a at the center (the center line X-X) in the front-rear direction of the inner region 42U is set to the 4 th distance L4. The length of the inner region 42U in the left-right direction at the center line X-X of the inner region 42U is MU, and the length of the outer shape of the tray 30 in the left-right direction is M30. The difference between the length MU in the left-right direction of the inner region 42U and the length M30 in the left-right direction of the tray 30 is set as the 5 th distance L5(L5 is MU-M30). In this case, the 4 th distance L4 is preferably not less than the 5 th distance L5 (L4. gtoreq.L 5). The tray 30 is movable in the left-right direction within the inboard region 42U by the length of the 5 th distance L5. Even when the animal excretes toward one side in the left-right direction of the animal litter box 1 in a state where the tray 30 is positioned closer to the wall portion 42 (for example, the left side wall portion 42b) on one side in the left-right direction, by setting the 4 th distance L4 to be equal to or greater than the 5 th distance L5, it becomes easy to receive the excrement falling from the upper container 10 to the tray 30 in the region overlapping the tray contact portion 61a in the up-down direction. Thereby, the bottom surface of the tray 30 is easily brought into contact with the tray abutting portion 61a in a stable state, and the excrement is easily received in a stable state, and it becomes easy to measure the weight of the excrement more accurately.
As shown in fig. 6, when the length of the support container 40 in the left-right direction is M40 and the distance from the inner end of the main body side wall portion 24 on one side to the inner end of the main body side wall portion 24 on the other side in the left-right direction is M20 on the center line X-X, the difference between the length M40 and the distance M20 is set to the 6 th distance L6(L6 is M20-M40). At this time, it is preferable that the 4 th distance L4, which is the length from one side end of the perforated region H in the left-right direction to one side end of the tray contact portion 61a, be equal to or greater than the 6 th distance L6 (L4 ≧ L6). In the use state, the support container 40 accommodated in the main body portion 20 can move by the 6 th distance L6 in the left-right direction. Even when the animal excretes in one of the left and right directions in the animal litter box 1 with the support container 40 being positioned closer to the main body side wall portion 24 on one of the left and right directions, by setting the 4 th distance L4 to be equal to or greater than the 6 th distance, it becomes easier to receive the excrement dropped from the upper container 10 to the tray 30 in the region vertically overlapping with the tray contact portion 61 a. Thereby, the bottom surface of the tray 30 is easily brought into contact with the tray abutting portion 61a in a stable state, and the excrement is easily received in a stable state, and it becomes easy to measure the weight of the excrement more accurately.
More preferably, the 4 th distance L4 is not less than the sum of the 5 th distance L5 and the 6 th distance L6 (L4. gtoreq.L 5+ L6). In a state where the tray 30 is brought close to the one side wall portion 42 in the left-right direction and the support container 40 is brought close to the one side wall portion 24 in the left-right direction, even when the animal excrets toward one side in the left-right direction of the animal litter box 1, it becomes easy to receive the excrement dropped from the upper container 10 to the tray 30 in the region vertically overlapping with the tray abutting portion 61 a. Thus, the tray 30 is easy to bring the bottom surface of the tray 30 into contact with the tray contact portion 61a in a stable state, and to receive excrement in a stable state, and it becomes easy to measure the weight of excrement more accurately.
Fig. 14 is a schematic view of a cross section shown by the arrow B-B view in fig. 10. In fig. 14, the main body 20 and the like are not shown in cross section, but are shown with hatching for convenience. In addition, the cross-sectional portion is also shown in simplified form for the opening region H. As shown in fig. 14, it is preferable that a distance W in the front-rear direction from the rear end of the perforated region H to the rear end of the receiving portion 31 is longer than a distance T between the lower surface of the upper container 10 (the bottom surface of the upper container bottom 11) and the upper surface of the receiving portion 31 (W > T). For example, when the animal excrets in a state of facing the rear of the animal litter box 1 and drops excrement (urine) from the upper container 10 downward from the front toward the rear end of the perforated region H at an incident angle θ of 45 degrees, the receiving portion 31 receives the excrement in a region where most of the excrement is separated by a distance T from the perforated region H when entering the tray 30. That is, by setting the distance W to be longer than the distance T, even when the animal excrets in a state of being directed to the rear of the animal litter box 1, the receiving portion 31 can more reliably receive the excrement and can reduce the possibility of the excrement leaking rearward from the tray 30.
Other embodiments are also possible
The above embodiments are intended to facilitate understanding of the present invention, and are not intended to be restrictive. Needless to say, the present invention can be modified and improved without departing from the gist thereof, and the present invention includes equivalents thereof.
In the above embodiment, the hole-forming region H is provided inside the tray contact portion 61a, but is not limited thereto. By providing at least the rear end of the open region H at the same position as the rear end of the tray contact portion 61a or at a position forward of the rear end of the tray contact portion 61a, the weight of excrement can be easily and accurately measured even when the animal excretes toward the rear side of the animal litter box 1, but the following changes can be made.
Fig. 15 is a diagram illustrating the arrangement of the main body 20, the tray 30, and the support container 40 in a state where the animal litter box 100 according to another embodiment is used. In the animal litter box 100 shown in fig. 15, the rear end of the opening region H is provided at a position forward of the rear end of the tray contact portion 61a, and the side end of one side of the opening region H in the left-right direction is provided at a position inward of the side end of one side (left side) of the tray contact portion 61a in the left-right direction. In the animal litter box 100, even when the animal excretes toward the rear side of the animal litter box 1, the tray 30 can be brought into contact with the tray contact portion 61a in a stable state, and the weight of the excrement can be easily and accurately measured because the upper output portion 61 is allowed to be subjected to the action of gravity.
As shown in fig. 16, when the center Cc of the length Lc in the front-rear direction of the cover opening portion 51 of the cover 50 is located rearward of the center Ch of the length Lh in the front-rear direction of the hole area H, the front end of the hole area H may be located at the same position as the front end of the tray contact portion 61a or may be located forward of the front end of the tray contact portion 61 a. Fig. 16 is a schematic plan view of the animal litter box 100 in a use state. In fig. 16, for convenience, the tray abutting portion 61a which cannot be seen is shown by a solid line. Even when the animal excretes toward the rear of the animal litter box 1 and the amount of excrement increases behind the tray 30, the weight of the excrement can be accurately measured easily by placing the tray 30 on the tray contact portion 61 a. On the other hand, since the area of the entire opening region H can be further enlarged by providing the opening region H wider on the front side of the animal litter box 1, the excrement received in the upper container 10 can be more easily dropped into the tray 30 more quickly, and the possibility that the odor of the excrement remaining in the upper container 10 is emitted to the outside of the animal litter box 1 can be reduced.
In the above embodiment, the weight of the obtained excrement is displayed on the terminal of the user through the communication unit, but the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, the animal litter box 1 may be provided with a display unit (not shown), and the weight of excrement may be displayed on the display unit by performing wireless or wired communication between the control unit and the display unit.
In the above embodiment, the animal litter box 1 is configured to be insertable and removable in a state where the tray 30 is supported by the support container 40, but is not limited thereto. For example, the support container 40 and the main body 20 may be integrated, and the tray 30 may be directly inserted into and removed from the main body 20.
In the above embodiment, the output main body portion 60 having the upper output portion 61 and the lower output portion 62 is provided, but the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, the output main body unit 60 may have only the upper output unit 61, and may be an output unit that performs only the following: the body 20 and the like are directly placed on the ground surface G, or the lower output unit 62 is a simple base without a load sensor, and the weight of the animal is not measured but the excrement is measured.
