<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet for a pet using sand, etc., in a toilet bed and removing sticking sand, etc., when the pet such as a cat comes in and out from a toilet body after stool. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided a toilet body for housing a sandy material forming the toilet bed and a toilet frame body combined with the toilet body and providing an outer shape guiding the pet to the toilet body. The toilet frame body is equipped with an opening exposing the sandy material of the toilet body to the outside, slope parts extended from an opening to the outside and a guiding part constituting an entrance and exit for the pet toward the toilet body and guiding the pet to the slope parts. 【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、室内で飼われる猫や犬などのペット用のトイレに係り、トイレ内から砂等が外部に飛散しないようにしたペット用トイレに関する。

【従来の技術】
室内で飼われている猫や犬などが室内で尿や排便をするためのペット用トイレとして、プラスチック製の容器にいわゆる猫砂などの粒状の排泄物処理材（砂状物）が入れられたものが使用されている。図７はこのようなペット用トイレの全体を示す斜視図である。図７に示すように、プラスチック製の容器１’は上面が開口しており、凹部状の底面１’ａと周壁１’ｂを有している。この凹部状の底面１’ａに猫砂等の排泄物処理材２’が適当量入れられる。この排泄物処理材２’としては、川の砂や鉱物系のゼオライト、あるいは尿などを吸収すると固まるベントナイト、粉砕パルプ等を固めて円柱形または球形の粒状に成形したセルロース粒などが一般的に使用されている。猫などのペットは前記容器１’の凹部状の底面１’ａ内に入り、前記排泄物処理材２’の上から尿や便などを排泄する。尚、類似の構成は特開２００２−７８４２８号公報に記載されてある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところが、用便後、猫などのペットは足指の股間やその周辺に砂状物を付着させたままペット用トイレの外に出てしまうので、付着した砂状物が部屋中に撒き散らされることになり、部屋の床面を汚してしまうという問題を有する。これを防ぐため、ペット用トイレの周囲に新聞紙や毛布類などを敷く場合が見受けられるが、この部分に集中して砂状物が落ちるわけではなく、砂取り効果は低い。また、砂状物を猫などのペットに付着し難い大きさにして、足指の股間やその周辺に砂状物を付着させないようにすることも考えられるが、猫などのペットは、細かい砂状物の上で排泄することを好み、大きな砂状物の上ではなかなか排泄しないという問題を有する。更には、砂状物の代わりに吸液シートを使用することも考えられるが、猫などのペットは、その習性上砂状物の上で排泄することを好み、シートの上ではなかなか排泄しないという問題を有する。

本発明は、以上のような課題に鑑みてなされたものであり、その目的は、便床に砂状物を使用するトイレであって、用便後、猫などのペットに付着した砂状物によって部屋中が汚されないようにするため、トイレ本体内に出入りする際に、ペットをトイレ本体内に誘導し、付着した砂状物を取り除くことができるペット用トイレを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
以上のような目的を達成するために、本発明者らが鋭意研究を重ねた結果、猫などのペットが用足しの際、トイレ本体をトイレフレーム体で覆ってトイレの出入りを誘導し、その出入口に上面に貫通孔を有する砂除去板を設置することにより、猫などのペットに付着した砂を除去できることを見出し、本発明を完成するに至った。

より具体的には、本発明は、以下のようなものを提供する。

（１）　便床を形成する砂状物を収容するトイレ本体と、該トイレ本体と組み合わされて、ペットをトイレ本体に誘導する外形を提供するトイレフレーム体と、からなるペット用トイレであって、前記トイレフレーム体は、前記トイレ本体の砂状物を外部に露出させる開口と、該開口から外方に向かって延伸する傾斜面部と、前記トイレ本体に向かうペットの出入口を構成してペットを前記傾斜面部に誘導する誘導部と、を有し、前記トイレフレーム体の前記傾斜面部に臨んで、天板がメッシュ板で、該メッシュ板から下方に砂を落す砂除去板を配置したものであることを特徴とするペット用トイレを提供する。

本発明のペット用トイレによれば、猫などのペットが、トイレフレーム体の誘導部によって構成された出入口からトイレ本体へと誘導されて用便を行う。糞尿を排泄した後、足指の股間やその周辺に砂状物を付着させたままでトイレから出る時に、誘導部に誘導されて出入口の傾斜面部に設置された砂除去板の上を歩行することにより、この砂除去板によって、付着した砂状物が落される。この落された砂状物は砂除去板の天板の貫通孔から傾斜面部に落ち、傾斜面部を滑り落ちて、トイレフレーム体の開口からトイレ本体内へ回収される。このため、ペットがトイレの外に砂状物を持ち出さないので、砂状物が部屋中に撒き散らされることがない。また、トイレ本体内への砂状物の補充量および回数を減らすことができる。

ここで、本発明において、砂状物とは、猫などのペットが用便する便床を構成する粒子の比較的細かい粒状のものを意味し、川砂や海砂等の砂、鉱物系のゼオライト、尿などを吸収すると固まるベントナイト、粉砕パルプ等を固めて円柱形または球形の粒状に成形したセルロース粒などの他、シリカゲル等の固まらずに吸水性を有する素材からなる粒などが含まれる。

また、傾斜面部は、用便した際に猫などのペットに付着した砂状物を砂除去板で除去したときに落ちた砂状物を受けて、トイレ本体内に回収するためのもので、その傾斜角度は砂状物が滑り落ちる程度の角度であって、１５〜４５度が好ましい。また、その長さ（開口の側縁から出入口の先端までの寸法）は、猫などのペットが飛び越せない程度であって、２０ｃｍ以上であるのが好ましい。より好ましくは３０〜４０ｃｍである。

（２）　前記誘導部は、前記傾斜面部の両脇に立設する一対の壁体からなることを特徴とする（１）に記載のペット用トイレを提供する。

斯かる構成によれば、猫などのペットが、用便後、糞尿に足で砂状物をかけた場合に、砂状物が外に飛び散るのを防止できる。また、ペットが出入口以外から出入りするのを防止する役割も果たしている。尚、一対の壁体の高さは、ペットが糞尿に足で砂状物をかけた際に砂状物が外に飛び出ない程度、およびペットが飛び越えない程度の高さであって、１５ｃｍ以上であるのが好ましい。より好ましくは２０〜３０ｃｍである。

（３）　前記トイレフレーム体は、前記誘導部を構成する一対の壁体を有する断面形状がほぼＵ字形状の箱体であって、該箱体の底部に、ほぼ中間部に前記トイレ本体とほぼ同じかそれ以下の広さの前記開口を有し、該開口を挟んで該開口から両外方に向かって延伸する前記傾斜面部を備えることを特徴とする（１）または（２）に記載のペット用トイレを提供する。

本発明のペット用トイレによれば、前記トイレフレーム体の誘導部を構成する一対の壁体で囲われた開口部分がペットの出入口となり、ペットが用便をする際に、この誘導部に誘導されてトイレ本体に出入りすることになる。即ち、一方の出入口から入って用足しを行い、糞尿を排泄した後もう一方の出入口から出るように誘導される。そして、出入口には砂除去板が設置されているので、前記のように、この砂除去板によって、猫などのペットに付着した砂状物が落され、落された砂状物は傾斜面部を介してトイレ本体内へ回収される。このため、砂状物が部屋中に撒き散らされることがない。

（４）　前記トイレフレーム体は、前記誘導部を構成する一対の壁体と該誘導部に直交して立設する第２の壁体とを有する断面形状がほぼＵ字形状の箱体であって、該箱体の底部に、前記誘導部と前記第２の壁体とに囲まれた部位に前記トイレ本体とほぼ同じかそれ以下の広さの開口を有し、前記開口の一端から外方に向かって延伸する前記傾斜面部を備えることを特徴とする（１）または（２）に記載のペット用トイレを提供する。

本発明のペット用トイレによれば、前記トイレフレーム体の誘導部を構成する一対の壁体に囲まれた開口部分がペットの出入口となり、ペットは用便をする際に、この誘導部に誘導されて出入りすることになる。そして、出入口には砂除去板が設置されているので、前記のように、この砂除去板によって、猫などのペットに付着した砂状物が落され、落された砂状物は傾斜面部を介してトイレ本体内へ回収される。このため、砂状物が部屋中に撒き散らされることがない。

（５）　前記傾斜面部が、前記開口から外方に向けて立ち上がるように傾斜したものであることを特徴とする（１）から（４）いずれか記載のペット用トイレを供給する。

本発明のペット用トイレによれば、前記砂除去板でペットに付着していた砂状物が傾斜面部に落された際に、この砂状物が傾斜面部を滑り落ちて、トイレフレーム体の開口に配置されたトイレ本体内に回収されることになる。尚、傾斜面部の傾斜角度は、傾斜面部に落ちた砂状物が滑り落ちる程度の角度が好ましく、砂状物の形状や種類およびトイレフレーム体の材質等により適宜選定されるものであるが、１５〜４５度であるのが好ましい。

（６）　前記傾斜面部が、前記誘導部を構成する一対の壁体の一方の壁体側から他方の壁体側に傾斜するものであって、傾斜下の壁体に沿って、開口に向かって低くなるように傾斜した溝が形成されたものであることを特徴とする（１）から（４）いずれか記載のペット用トイレを提供する。

本発明のペット用トイレによれば、前記砂除去板でペットに付着していた砂状物が傾斜面部に落された際に、この砂状物が傾斜面部上を滑り落ちて、傾斜下の壁体に沿って形成された溝に集められる。また、この溝は開口側に向かって低くなるように傾斜しているので、溝に集められた砂状物は、溝内を滑り落ちてトイレ本体内に回収される。尚、この傾斜の角度は、前記のように傾斜面部に落ちた砂状物や溝に集められた砂状物が滑り落ちる程度の角度が好ましく、砂状物の形状や種類およびトイレフレーム体の材質等により適宜選定されるものであるが、１５〜４５度であるのが好ましい。。

ここで、傾斜下とは、高い方から低い方に傾斜する傾斜面において、傾斜を下がりきった低い部位を意味する。

（７）　前記傾斜面部は、傾斜の角度が１５度から４５度であることを特徴とする（１）から（６）いずれか記載のペット用トイレを提供する。

傾斜面部は、猫などのペットが用便した際に付着した砂状物を砂除去板で落された際に、この落された砂状物を受けて、トイレ本体内に回収するためのものであり、砂状物が滑り落ちるように傾斜している。この落された砂状物が滑り落ちるための角度は、１５〜４５度が好ましい。１５度より傾斜が緩いと砂状物が滑り落ちないので、回収を別途行う必要があるため不都合である。また、４５度を越えると、砂除去板を設置した際に、砂除去板が滑り落ちる可能性があるため不適切である。

（８）　前記誘導部は、高さが１５ｃｍ以上であることを特徴とする（１）から（４）いずれか記載のペット用トイレを提供する。

誘導部を構成する一対の壁体および第２の壁体は、ペットが糞尿を排泄した後、糞尿に砂状物をかける習性があり、この際に砂状物が外に飛び出さないようにするため、また、ペットが飛び越えないための誘導部および第２の壁体の高さは１５ｃｍ以上であるのが好ましい。

（９）　前記砂除去板が、天板と該天板の裏面に設けた立上げ部材と、を備えるものであることを特徴とする（１）に記載のペット用トイレを提供する。

本発明のペット用トイレによれば、前記砂除去板を傾斜面部に設置した際に、立上げ部材が砂除去板の天板を水平にするための役割を果たしている。このため、砂除去板をトイレフレーム体の傾斜面部に配置した際、砂除去板の天板は水平になるので、猫などのペットが抵抗なくトイレに入ることができる。尚、この立上げ部材は、傾斜面部の傾斜角度とほぼ同じ角度を有するほぼ三角形状の板材として、傾斜に沿った方向に設ける。また、傾斜の高低差に相当する高さの脚として、天板の側縁に複数個設ける等が挙げられるが、これに限定されたものでない。

（１０）　前記天板は、貫通孔を有するメッシュ板であって、貫通孔の直径が１０ｍｍであることを特徴とする（１）または（９）に記載のペット用トイレを提供する。

本発明のペット用トイレによれば、ペットが用を足してトイレから出る際に、砂除去板に乗ると、バランスをとろうとして本能的に足の指が開き、はずみで砂状物が除去されて、貫通孔から傾斜面部に落ちて、傾斜面部を滑り落ちてトイレ本体内に回収される。この貫通孔の形状は、円形、楕円形、四角形等の多角形他いずれかの形状に限定されるものでなく、また、その配列も網目状、格子状他いずれかの並び方に限定されるものでない。更に、その大きさも猫などのペットが歩行する際にこの貫通孔からペットの足が落ちない程度の大きさ以下で、砂の大きさ以上であればよいが、好ましくは径が５〜１５ｍｍである。より好ましくは直径が１０ｍｍ程度である。

（１１）　前記トイレ本体は、前記砂状物と、該砂状物を収容する、底部が網目状で上部開口状の砂状物収容容器と、吸液シートと、上部開口状の受け容器とからなることを特徴とする（１）に記載のペット用トイレ。

本発明のペット用トイレによれば、トイレ本体は、猫などのペットが用便した場合、尿等の液体は砂状物および砂状物収容容器の網目状底部を通過して、吸収シートに吸収され、糞と尿が別々に蓄えられ、トイレを清掃する際の作業がし易くなる。

ここで、吸液シートとは、尿等の液体を吸収するシートを意味し、パルプや高吸水性ポリマーを含んで形成される。

（１２）　便床を形成する砂状物を収容するトイレ本体を備え、該トイレ本体の所定方向からペットの進入が可能とされているペット用トイレに組み付けることが可能な砂取り装置であって、前記トイレ本体の砂状物を外部に露出させる開口と、該開口から外方に向かって延伸する傾斜面部と、前記トイレ本体に向かうペットの出入口を構成してペットを傾斜面部に誘導する誘導部と、を有するトイレフレーム体と、前記トイレフレーム体の傾斜面部に臨んで設置される砂除去板と、からなること特徴とする砂取り装置を提供する。

本発明の砂取り装置によれば、猫などのペットがトイレフレーム体の誘導部によって構成された出入口からトイレ本体に誘導され、トイレに入って糞尿を排泄した後、足指の股間やその周辺に砂状物を付着させたまま、誘導部に誘導されてトイレから出るが、この際、出入口の傾斜面部に設置された砂除去板の上を歩行することにより、この砂除去板によって、付着した砂状物が落される。この落された砂状物は砂除去板の天板の貫通孔から傾斜面部に落ち、傾斜面部を滑り落ちてトイレ本体内に回収されることになる。このため、この砂取り装置をトイレ本体に取り付けることにより、砂状物が部屋中に撒き散らされることがない。また、誘導部が設けられているので、猫などのペットが、用便後、糞尿に足で砂をかけた場合に、砂が外に飛び散るのも防止できる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施形態について図面を参照しながら説明する。尚、これによって本発明が限定されるものではない。

図１は本発明のペット用トイレを示す概略斜視図であり、図２は図１に示すペット用トイレをＸーＸ線で切断した断面図であり、図３は図１に示すペット用トイレの分解斜視図であり、図４は本発明のペット用トイレに使用のトイレフレーム体の第２の実施形態を示す斜視図であり、図５は図４のトイレフレーム体を使用したペット用トイレを示す断面図であリ、図６は本発明のペット用トイレに使用のトイレフレーム体の第３の実施形態を示す斜視図である。

〔第１の実施形態〕
本発明のペット用トイレ１は、図１ないし図３に示すように、トイレ本体４と、トイレ本体４をカバーするトイレフレーム体２と、トイレフレーム体２の傾斜面部２ｃ，２ｃ’に配置された砂除去板３とを主要素として構成されている。

トイレフレーム体２は、この実施の形態において金属製板材からなり、図２及び図３に示すように、誘導部２ａと、底部２ｂとから形成されている。誘導部２ａは、傾斜面部２ｃ，２ｃ’の両脇に立設する一対の壁体２ｄ，２ｄ’からなる。底部２ｂは、開口２ｅと、開口２ｅから両外方（図２の右手方向及び左手方向）に向かって、外方が高くなるように傾斜して延伸する傾斜面部２ｃ，２ｃ’と、該傾斜面部２ｃ，２ｃ’の外方側先端から下方（図２において下向き）に延伸し、その先端部分が内方（開口２ｅ側の方向）に折り曲げられた側板２ｆ，２ｆ’とからなる箱体である。また、傾斜面部２ｃ，２ｃ’の開口２ｅ側の先端部は斜め下方に折り曲げられてある。開口２ｅは、トイレ本体４とほぼ同じ若しくは多少狭い大きさであって、トイレフレーム体２をトイレ本体４に上方より被せてセットした際、開口２ｅ側の傾斜面部２ｃ，２ｃ’の斜め下方に折り曲げられた先端部分がトイレ本体４の内側になるようにして、トイレ本体４にトイレフレーム体２がセットされる。尚、トイレ本体４にトイレフレーム体２をセットする方法は、これに限定されず、例えばトイレフレーム体２の開口２ｅ内にトイレ本体４を開口２ｅの上方から収めるようにしてもよい。

ここで、傾斜面部２ｃ，２ｃ’は、後述する砂除去板３によって除去された砂状物を受けて、滑り落とし、トイレ本体４内に回収する役割を果たすものであって、その傾斜角度は、砂除去板３より落ちた砂状物が滑り落ちることができる程度の角度であれば、特に限定されるものではない。尚、この角度は、砂状物の形状や種類、トイレフレーム体２の材質等によって適宜選定すればよいが、好ましくは１５〜４５度である。１５度よりも緩やかな傾斜であると、砂状物がトイレ本体４内に滑り落ちないので、別途回収する手間を要することになり煩雑となる。また、４５度より急な傾斜であると、砂除去板３を設置した際に、砂除去板３が滑り落ちる恐れがあり不具合である。また、傾斜面部２ｃ，２ｃ’の長さ（開口２ｅ側の先端から出入り口の先端までの長さ）は、猫などのペットが飛び越えられない程度、具体的には２０ｃｍ以上であるのが好ましい。

誘導部２ａは、ペットの出入口２Ａを構成して、ペットが傾斜面部からトイレ本体に出入りするように誘導するためのものである。また、誘導部２ａを構成する一対の壁板２ｄ，２ｄ’は、ペットが糞尿を排泄した後、糞尿に砂をかける習性があり、この際に砂が外に飛び出さないようにするためのものでもある。その高さは、猫などのペットが用便後、糞尿に砂をかけた際に、砂が外に飛び出ない程度、更には、ペットが飛び越せない程度の高さ、具体的には１５ｃｍ以上であるのが好ましい。

砂除去板３は、この実施の形態において金属製板材からなり、平面状の天板３ａと、複数個の立上げ部材３ｂからなり、該立上げ部材３ｂは、トイレフレーム体２に形成された傾斜面部２ｃ，２ｃ’とほぼ同じ傾斜角度を有する三角形状のものであって、天板３ａの裏面に複数個取り付けられている。この立上げ部材３ｂを設けることにより、砂除去板３をトイレフレーム体２の傾斜面部２ｃ，２ｃ’に設置した際に、図２に示すように、ペットが歩行する出入口２Ａの通路面はほぼ水平となり、ペットが抵抗なく出入りできることになる。尚、立上げ部材３ｂの形状は、この三角形状のものに限定されるものでなく、例えば、立上げ部材３ｂの三角形の高さに相当する（傾斜の高低差）高さの棒状の脚を、天板３ａの一側縁に複数個に取り付けてもよい。更に、砂除去板３を天板３ａと立上げ部材３ｂを一体化した三角錐状のものとしてもよい。この立上げ部材３ｂを取り付けることにより、砂除去板３を傾斜面部２ｃ，２ｃ’に設置した際に、天板３ａがほぼ水平となる。

一方、天板３ａには、複数個の貫通孔３ｃが形成されている。この貫通孔３ｃの形状は円形、楕円形、四角形等の多角形他いずれかの形状に限定されるものでなく、また、その配列も網目状、格子状他いずれかの並び方に限定されるものでない。更に、その大きさも猫などのペットが歩行する際に、貫通孔３ｃからペットの足が落ちない程度の大きさ以下で、砂状物等の大きさ以上であればよいが、５〜１５ｍｍであるのが好ましい。より好ましくは１０ｍｍ程度である。

この砂除去板３によって、ペットが用を足してトイレから出る際に、砂除去板３に乗ると、貫通孔３ｃが有るため、バランスをとろうとして本能的に足の指が開き、ペットの足指の股間や周辺に付着した砂状物が除去されて、傾斜面部２ｃ，２ｃ’に落ち、傾斜面部２ｃ，２ｃ’を滑り落ちてトイレ本体４内に回収される。
