Abstract
The invention discloses an external device for voice control of a set top box. At present, a great deal of demand is brought to upgrading a common set top box into an intelligent set top box. The set-top box is provided with a USB interface and an audio output port, and the external equipment comprises a main control module, a power management module, a microphone array connected to the main control module, an echo cancellation module and a USB terminal. The main control module completes the functions of data processing, voice recognition and the like. The microphone array is composed of a plurality of microphones to form an array and is used for picking up ambient sound; the USB terminal is inserted into a USB interface of the set-top box, communicates with the set-top box and obtains power from the set-top box. And an audio connector in the echo cancellation module is connected with an audio output port of the set top box and used for picking up the audio played by the set top box. The invention can upgrade the traditional set-top box equipment into a voice set-top box, realizes voice awakening and voice recognition, and further realizes the functions of controlling the set-top box to be turned on and off, adjusting the volume, adjusting the channel and the like through voice.

Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of automatic control, and particularly relates to an external device for voice control of a set top box.
Background
In recent years, the voice processing technology is more mature, and the voice-controlled intelligent household equipment is more and more applied to the aspects of people's life. The set top box is taken as an entry point, a large number of traditional set top boxes need to be upgraded into intelligent set top boxes in the market at present, how to economically and conveniently realize intelligent upgrade becomes the research direction of numerous equipment manufacturers at present. The invention provides a USB voice control front-end device which is different from a method for directly replacing a set of set top box equipment.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide an external device for voice control of a set-top box, which is used for intelligent upgrading of a traditional set-top box.
The set-top box is provided with a USB interface and an audio output port, and the external equipment comprises a main control module, a power management module, a microphone array, an echo cancellation module and a USB terminal, wherein the microphone array, the echo cancellation module and the USB terminal are connected to the main control module;
the USB terminal is provided with a power supply end, a grounding end, a data transmission positive end and a data transmission negative end;
the power input of the power management module is connected with the power end of the USB terminal, and after the USB terminal is inserted into the USB interface, the power management module obtains a +5V power supply by the set-top box; the power input negative end of the power management module is grounded, and the power input positive end is coupled with the power input negative end through a capacitor; the power management module outputs a +3.3V power supply and a +2.5V power supply;
the power pin of the main control module is connected with the +3.3V power output pin of the power management module, and the grounding pin GND is connected with the grounding end of the USB terminal; a USB positive data pin of the main control module is connected with a data transmission positive end of the USB terminal, and a USB negative data pin of the main control module is connected with a data transmission negative end of the USB terminal;
the microphone array comprises a plurality of microphones, and each microphone is connected with the main control module in the same way; the power supply pin of the microphone is connected with the +2.5V power supply output pin of the power supply management module and is grounded through a decoupling capacitor, the positive signal output pin and the negative signal output pin are respectively connected with the positive signal receiving pin and the negative signal receiving pin of the main control module through coupling capacitors, and the positive signal output pin and the negative signal output pin of the microphone are coupled through capacitors; the negative signal output pin of the microphone is connected with the grounding pin and then grounded;
the echo cancellation module comprises an audio connector, four resistors and two capacitors; the audio connector is provided with two grounding ends, two right channel audio signal pins and two left channel audio signal pins which are correspondingly arranged; the two right channel audio signal pins are connected with one end of the first resistor, and the two left channel audio signal pins are connected with one end of the second resistor; one end of the first capacitor and one end of the third resistor which are connected in parallel are grounded, and the other end of the first capacitor and the other end of the third resistor which are connected in parallel are connected as a right channel audio signal output end and connected with an audio signal positive end input pin of the main control module; one end of the second capacitor and one end of the fourth resistor which are connected in parallel are grounded, and the other end of the second capacitor and the other end of the fourth resistor which are connected in parallel are connected as a left channel audio signal output end and connected with the other audio signal positive end input pin of the main control module; the input pins of the two audio signal negative terminals of the main control module are grounded through capacitors respectively.
During specific implementation, USB protocol data are preset in the set top box device, the set top box device waits for receiving an instruction, a voice AI chip is used in the external device to process instruction information, and a processing result is transmitted through a USB data line. The communication mode between the external equipment and the set-top box is a USB mode, and the existing mature USB communication protocol is used. The invention provides external hardware equipment for intelligently upgrading a set top box, which belongs to the mature prior art of software preset by the set top box and the external equipment main control module.
The invention provides an external device of a set-top box, which is an additional device of the set-top box and is a port for voice input, and the USB and audio interface of the existing set-top box can be used for upgrading the traditional set-top box device into a voice set-top box, thereby realizing voice awakening and voice recognition, and further realizing the functions of controlling the set-top box to be turned on and off, adjusting the volume, adjusting the channel and the like.

Detailed Description
The present invention will be described in further detail below with reference to specific figures.
The set top box is provided with a USB interface and an audio output port, the USB interface adopts a universal Type-A interface, and the USB interface is a FEMALE interface.
As shown in fig. 1, the external device includes a main control module U1, a power management module U2, and a microphone array 1, an echo cancellation module 2, and a USB terminal 3 connected to the main control module.
The USB terminal adopts a universal Type-A interface, the interface is a MALE interface, and the USB terminal is provided with a power supply end, a grounding end, a data transmission positive end DP and a data transmission negative end DM.
As shown in fig. 2, the power input of the power management module U2 is connected to the power end of the USB terminal, and after the USB terminal is plugged into the USB interface, the power management module U2 obtains +5V power from the set-top box. The negative power input terminal of the power management module U2 is grounded, and the positive power input terminal and the negative power input terminal are capacitively coupled. The power management module U2 adopts a DCDC module to respectively output a +3.3V power supply and a +2.5V power supply, and is a mature product.
As shown in fig. 3, the main control module U1 adopts a GX8008C voice chip, which is a signal processing and control unit of the device, and completes functions such as data processing and voice recognition. The power pin VDD of the master control module U1 is connected with the +3.3V power output pin of the power management module U2, and the ground pin GND of the master control module U1 is connected with the ground terminal of the USB terminal. The USB positive DATA pin DATA + of the main control module U1 is connected to the DATA transmission positive terminal DP of the USB terminal, and the USB negative DATA pin DATA-of the main control module U1 is connected to the DATA transmission negative terminal DM of the USB terminal.
The microphone array comprises a plurality of microphones, each microphone is connected with the main control module U1 in the same way, and the embodiment shows that two microphones form an array. As shown in fig. 4, the power pin VDD _ MIC of the microphone (shown by the dashed box in the figure) is connected to the +2.5V power output pin of the power management module U2, and is grounded through the decoupling capacitor. The positive signal output pin AIN _ P and the negative signal output pin AIN _ N of the microphone are respectively connected with the positive signal receiving pin ADC _ P and the negative signal receiving pin ADC _ N of the main control module U1 through coupling capacitors, and the positive signal output pin and the negative signal output pin of the microphone are coupled through capacitors. The negative signal output pin of the microphone is connected with the grounding pin and then grounded.
The echo cancellation module carries out processing such as voltage division and filtering on the audio signal and is connected with the main control module. The function of audio frequency recovery is realized. As shown in fig. 5, the echo cancellation module includes an audio connector J and four resistors, two capacitors. The audio connector J adopts a standard three-section audio connector of 3.5mm, is a FAMALE interface and is connected with an audio output port of the set-top box. The audio connector J has two grounding terminals, two right channel audio signal pins and two left channel audio signal pins which are correspondingly arranged. The two audio signal pins of the right channel are connected to one end of the first resistor R1, and the two audio signal pins of the left channel are connected to one end of the second resistor R2. One end of the first capacitor C1 connected in parallel with the third resistor R3 is grounded, and the other end of the first capacitor C1 connected in parallel with the other end of the first resistor R1 is connected as a right channel audio signal output terminal REF _ RP and is connected to an audio signal positive terminal input pin ADC1_ P of the main control module U1. One end of the second capacitor C2 connected in parallel with the fourth resistor R4 is grounded, and the other end of the second capacitor C2 connected in parallel with the other end of the second resistor R2 is connected to serve as a left channel audio signal output terminal REF _ LP and is connected to another audio signal positive terminal input pin ADC2_ P of the main control module U1. The two audio signal negative terminal input pins ADC1_ N and ADC2_ N of the master control module U1 are respectively grounded through capacitors.
Specific application scenarios are exemplified as follows:
step (1) connecting an audio output interface of the set-top box with a standard three-section audio interface of 3.5mm in equipment by using an audio cable;
step (2) connecting the USB MALE interface of the equipment with the USB FAMALE interface of the set-top box;
step (3) the user sends out a wake-up word, such as 'Xiaobaobao';
step (4) the microphone array receives the voice signal, and the audio input interface also receives the audio played by the set-top box; and transmitting to the main control module;
step (5) the main control module processes and calculates the received audio data and then identifies the awakening word;
step (6), the user sends out instruction information, such as 'volume up'; the equipment executes the action of the step (4) again;
step (7) the main control module processes and calculates the received audio data, identifies the instruction word and transmits the instruction word to the set-top box through the USB interface;
and (8) the set top box receives the information and executes the action of increasing the volume.

the external equipment comprises a main control module, a power management module, a microphone array, an echo cancellation module and a USB terminal, wherein the microphone array, the echo cancellation module and the USB terminal are connected to the main control module;
the USB terminal is provided with a power supply end, a grounding end, a data transmission positive end and a data transmission negative end;
the power input of the power management module is connected with the power end of the USB terminal, and after the USB terminal is inserted into the USB interface, the power management module obtains a +5V power supply by the set-top box; the power input negative end of the power management module is grounded, and the power input positive end is coupled with the power input negative end through a capacitor; the power management module outputs a +3.3V power supply and a +2.5V power supply;
the power pin of the main control module is connected with the +3.3V power output pin of the power management module, and the grounding pin GND is connected with the grounding end of the USB terminal; a USB positive data pin of the main control module is connected with a data transmission positive end of the USB terminal, and a USB negative data pin of the main control module is connected with a data transmission negative end of the USB terminal;
the microphone array comprises a plurality of microphones, and each microphone is connected with the main control module in the same way; the power supply pin of the microphone is connected with the +2.5V power supply output pin of the power supply management module and is grounded through a decoupling capacitor, the positive signal output pin and the negative signal output pin are respectively connected with the positive signal receiving pin and the negative signal receiving pin of the main control module through coupling capacitors, and the positive signal output pin and the negative signal output pin of the microphone are coupled through capacitors; the negative signal output pin of the microphone is connected with the grounding pin and then grounded;
the echo cancellation module comprises an audio connector, four resistors and two capacitors; the audio connector is provided with two grounding ends, two right channel audio signal pins and two left channel audio signal pins which are correspondingly arranged; the two right channel audio signal pins are connected with one end of the first resistor, and the two left channel audio signal pins are connected with one end of the second resistor; one end of the first capacitor and one end of the third resistor which are connected in parallel are grounded, and the other end of the first capacitor and the other end of the third resistor which are connected in parallel are connected as a right channel audio signal output end and connected with an audio signal positive end input pin of the main control module; one end of the second capacitor and one end of the fourth resistor which are connected in parallel are grounded, and the other end of the second capacitor and the other end of the fourth resistor which are connected in parallel are connected as a left channel audio signal output end and connected with the other audio signal positive end input pin of the main control module; the input pins of the two audio signal negative terminals of the main control module are grounded through capacitors respectively.
