Automobile airbags and safety belts are typical passive safety protection devices. A first embodiment of the present application provides a headrest airbag system, and fig. 1 is a schematic view of an operational state deployment shape of a headrest airbag provided in the first embodiment of the present application. Fig. 2 is a schematic view of a gas generator in a headrest airbag system according to a first embodiment of the present application. Fig. 4 is a schematic view of a housing of a headrest airbag system according to a first embodiment of the present application mounted to a headrest body.
The headrest airbag system provided in the present embodiment includes a headrest airbag 1, a gas generator 2, an electronic control device (not shown), a sensor (not shown), and a headrest body 4; the above components will be described below.
The headrest airbag 1 is an airbag that is disposed at a headrest position of a car seat.
An airbag is an airbag that can protect the life of a passenger when a danger occurs, and has a space in which compressed gas can be charged, and an air inlet through which gas can be rapidly charged into the airbag is provided between the airbag and an external space, so that the airbag is rapidly deployed. The safety airbag has a setting state and a working state according to different states of the safety airbag.
The arrangement state refers to a state that the air bag is arranged at the air bag arrangement position after being compressed under the condition that the automobile is in normal working; in this state, the inner space of the airbag is not yet inflated and is folded and compressed in a manner adapted to the installation position space; the airbag may be classified into different types according to the position where the airbag is disposed, and the headrest airbag in this embodiment is the airbag disposed at the position of the headrest.
The working state refers to the state that when the automobile is collided and the like and meets the working conditions of the safety air bag, a large amount of gas is rapidly filled into the safety air bag from the air inlet, and the safety air bag is rapidly unfolded after being inflated, so that the safety air bag is in the inflated state capable of protecting passengers. For different types of airbags, the airbags can be unfolded into different shapes under the working state according to different protection requirements. The specific unfolding shape needs to be studied in detail on the protection position of the specific safety air bag, and different unfolding shapes are adopted according to the protection requirement.
In the present embodiment, the headrest airbag 1 is used for protecting the head of an occupant, and the specific collision form to be protected is mainly a secondary collision occurring in the vehicle after a primary collision of the vehicle body occurs, for example, a head collision between occupants seated side by side, or a head side collision of another hard object; for this reason, in the present embodiment, a deployed shape as shown in fig. 1, that is, a shape similar to a helmet, is designed, which includes a left side air cushion, a right side air cushion, a top air cushion and a rear air cushion, and the deployed shape can form effective wrapping for the left, right, side, top and rear portions of the head of the occupant, and form reliable protection for the head; the face protection can be borne by airbags at other positions.
Of course, the above-described deployment shape is preferred, and in some cases, other simple deployment forms may be used, for example, the deployed airbag may not include the top cushion and the rear cushion, but only the left side cushion and the right side cushion, which may form an effective wrap around the left and right sides of the head of the occupant. The temples on the two sides of the head of the passenger are the weakest parts of the skull, and the middle cerebral artery is arranged below the temples, if the temples are impacted strongly in secondary collision, the blood vessels are broken and bleed greatly, intracranial hematoma is caused, and the person is in coma. Therefore, in the secondary collision, the effective protection of the left side and the right side of the head of the passenger is very important for protecting the personal safety of the passenger. The gas generator 2 is mainly used for filling an inflating agent, and the inflating agent can be selected in various ways. After the vehicle body is collided for the first time, the inflating agent can instantly decompose a large amount of gas under the heating of the igniting agent ignited and detonated by the igniter of the electronic control device, the gas is filled into the headrest airbag 1 through the gas guide pipe, the headrest airbag 1 is unfolded, and the injury of passengers in the secondary collision is avoided. In the present embodiment, as shown in fig. 5, the headrest airbag system further includes a gas generator bracket 5; the gas generator 2 is used for filling with an inflator, and the gas generator holder 5 is used for fixing the gas generator 2.
The electronic control device (not shown) and the sensor (not shown) are connected with the electronic control device, the sensor is used for detecting the forward acceleration signal and the lateral acceleration signal of the automobile in time and sending the signals to the electronic control device, and the signals are calculated, analyzed, compared and judged by the electronic control device to prepare to send out instructions at any time. When the signal changes and exceeds a set threshold value, the electronic control device sends an ignition instruction, so that the igniter ignites and detonates the ignition agent to heat the inflation agent, the inflation agent is instantly decomposed into a large amount of gas, the gas is filled into the headrest airbag 1 through the gas guide tube, the headrest airbag 1 is unfolded, and the head of a passenger is prevented from being injured in secondary collision.
As shown in fig. 4, the headrest body 4 is a headrest mounted on a car seat. The headrest airbag 1 and the gas generator 2 are installed in a headrest body 4, and in the optimized scheme, a shell 3 is arranged, as shown in figure 3, the shell 3 is a box body which is made of hard materials and is provided with an opening on one side, and the shell 3 is installed in the headrest body 4; the headrest airbag 1 is fixed on the inner side of the shell 3 close to the opening of the shell 3, so that the headrest airbag 1 is ejected from the opening of the shell during secondary collision, and the head safety of a passenger is protected.

In the embodiment, the electronic control device is electrically connected with the sensor, the headrest airbag 1 is installed in the headrest body 4, and the gas generator 2 is connected with the headrest airbag 1 through the gas guide tube; when the sensor detects that the vehicle body collides, the electronic control device starts the gas generator 2 to inflate the headrest airbag 1, so that the headrest airbag 1 is opened, the headrest airbag 1 is converted into a working state from a placement state, and the unfolding shape of the headrest airbag 1 in the working state can effectively wrap the left side part and the right side part of the head of a passenger, so that when the left side part and the right side part of the head of the passenger and other objects, particularly hard objects, form secondary collision, for example, when secondary collision is generated among the heads of a plurality of passengers, effective buffering is formed, the injury on the side parts of the heads of the passengers is avoided or reduced, and the problem that the traditional airbag is insufficient in personal safety protection of the passengers can be solved.
A second embodiment of the invention provides a headrest airbag 1, the headrest airbag 1 being mounted in a headrest body 4; when the preset condition is met, the headrest airbag 1 is opened, the arrangement state is converted into the working state, the unfolding shape in the working state can effectively wrap the left side part and the right side part of the head of a passenger, so that when the left side part and the right side part of the head of the passenger and other objects, particularly hard objects, form secondary collision, for example, when secondary collision is generated among the heads of multiple passengers, effective buffering is formed, the injury on the side parts of the heads of the passengers is avoided or reduced, and the problem that the personal safety protection of the passengers by the traditional airbag is insufficient can be solved.
Based on the fact that the headrest airbag 1 in the headrest airbag system provided by the first embodiment is used as the headrest airbag in this embodiment, that is, the specific implementation structure of the headrest airbag 1 in this embodiment can refer to fig. 1 and the corresponding contents in the above embodiments, and details are not described here.
In order to better protect the top and the back of the head of the passenger, especially the vulnerable parts such as the back head and part of the spine, which are vulnerable to the secondary collision, the headrest airbag 1 in the embodiment includes a top air cushion and a back air cushion in addition to the left side air cushion and the right side air cushion, and this form can effectively wrap the top and the back of the head of the passenger, so that the injury of the top and the back of the head of the passenger in the secondary collision can be reduced.

The headrest airbag system according to claim 2 or 3, further comprising a housing; the headrest air bag and the gas generator are arranged in the shell, wherein the headrest air bag is fixed on the inner side of the shell close to the opening of the shell; the headrest airbag system further comprises a gas generator support, the gas generator is fixed on the gas generator support, and the gas generator support is fixed at the bottom of the inner side of the shell.
