Description

Ink cartridge for image forming apparatus and image forming apparatus
Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to the field of image forming apparatuses, and more particularly, to an ink cartridge and an image forming apparatus having the same.
Background
In the prior art, the fixing mode of the ink box and the ink box mounting frame of the image forming device generally adopts two sides to be fixed simultaneously, so that the ink box is prevented from being separated from the ink box mounting frame due to the movement of the ink box along the opposite direction of the mounting direction. Specifically, as shown in fig. 1, in the horizontal direction (i.e., the X-axis direction in the drawing), there are a first engaging portion 101 and a second engaging portion 102 at two ends of the ink cartridge 100, respectively, and a first groove 201 and a second groove 202 on 2 opposite inner walls of the mounting cavity of the cartridge mounting frame 200, respectively; when the ink cartridge 100 is mounted in the ink cartridge mounting frame 200, the first engaging portion 101 is engaged with the first groove 201, and the second engaging portion 102 is engaged with the second groove 202, so as to prevent the ink cartridge 100 from being separated from the ink cartridge mounting frame 200. However, for a force applied in the horizontal direction (i.e., the X-axis direction), the directions of the two forces F1 and F2 applied to the cartridge mount 200 are opposite, so that the cartridge mount 200 tends to be spread in the horizontal direction. When the ink cartridge 100 is mounted on the cartridge mounting frame 200 for a long time, the size of the cartridge mounting frame 200 in the horizontal direction may become long, and the distance between the first recess 201 and the second recess 202 may become large, and there may be a case where the ink cartridge 100 cannot be engaged to the cartridge mounting frame 200. In particular, if the first recess 201 and the second recess 202 are formed in 2 parts, the size of the cartridge mount 200 in the X-axis direction becomes more remarkable (the cartridge mount further includes a stylus portion, an ink supply portion, a printhead, and the like, and the holding portion is not integrally formed and is formed by mounting several parts together), and there is a more likely case that the engagement portion of the ink cartridge cannot be engaged with the cartridge mount.

When the ink cartridge 2 is mounted in the cartridge mounting frame 1, the cartridge body 21 is positioned in the mounting chamber 110, and the ink outlet 211 is connected to the ink supply portion 118, so that the ink in the ink cartridge 2 can be supplied to the print head through the ink outlet 211 and the ink supply portion 118 for printing. Terminals of the chip 24 are brought into contact with contact pins on the contact pin portion 14, and the cartridge 2 is electrically connected to the image forming apparatus. The second engaging portion 230 engages with the second engaging portion 131, and the first engaging portion 220 engages with the first engaging portion 123, thereby preventing the ink cartridge 2 from being moved in a direction opposite to the mounting direction (the mounting direction is the-Z direction in fig. 1) and causing the ink cartridge 2 to be separated from the cartridge mounting frame 1. With continued reference to fig. 4, at this time, the force F1 applied to the front wall 111 of the ink cartridge mounting frame 1 by the ink cartridge 2 is in the +x direction, and the force F2 applied to the rear wall 112 of the ink cartridge mounting frame 1 by the ink cartridge 2 is also in the +x direction, that is, the force applied directions of the front wall 111 and the rear wall 112 of the ink cartridge mounting frame 1 are consistent, so that the possibility that the size of the ink cartridge mounting frame 1 is lengthened is reduced, and further, the situation that the engagement member 22 and the engagement assembly 23 of the new ink cartridge 2 cannot be engaged with the first engagement member 12 and the second engagement member 13 of the ink cartridge mounting frame 1 due to long service time of the ink cartridge mounting frame 1 is suppressed.
When the ink cartridge 2 is detached from the cartridge mounting frame 1, there are two alternatives, the first way is: the pressing portion 233 is pressed to disengage the second engaging portion 230 from the groove 131a, and the ink cartridge 2 is lifted up, thereby removing the ink cartridge 2. The second mode is as follows: the pushing part 121 is rotated clockwise to disengage the first engaging part 123 from the first engaging part 220, the ink cartridge body 21 is sprung up by the contact force between the chip 24 and the stylus part 14, and the ink cartridge 2 is lifted up, so that the ink cartridge can be easily removed.
Based on the above embodiments, another embodiment is disclosed, and please refer to fig. 5 and 6, in this embodiment, the structure of the ink cartridge mounting frame 1 is the same as that of the ink cartridge mounting frame 1 of the above embodiments. The difference is that, in the present embodiment, the locking assembly 23 includes only the fixing portion 231, the connecting portion 232, and the second locking portion 230 is configured as a hook and is configured corresponding to the groove 131a. Both ends of the connection portion 232 are connected to the fixing portion 231 and the second engaging portion 230, respectively, and the fixing portion 231 is fixedly connected to the ink cartridge body 21. That is, in the present embodiment, the position of the snap assembly 23 relative to the ink cartridge body 21 on the XZ plane cannot be changed.
In the above embodiment, if the ink cartridge 2 is taken out by pressing the pressing portion 233, when the second engaging portion 230 is separated from the groove 131a, the user first lifts up the side of the ink cartridge 2 provided with the engaging component 23, and in this operation mode, if the ink remains on the ink outlet 211, the ink may flow along the wall surface of the ink cartridge body 21 in the direction of the chip 24 and the engaging member 22, so that the ink is contaminated at the chip 24 and the engaging member 22, resulting in contamination of the chip 24 and the engaging member 22, and increasing the risk that the ink cartridge chip 24 cannot be recognized by the printer and the engaging member 22 cannot be engaged with the first engaging member 12. If the ink cartridge 2 is again mounted for use, it may occur that: the electrical connection between the chip 24 and the contact pin portion 14 cannot be established, and the engaging piece 22 cannot be engaged with the first engaging piece 12.
In this embodiment, when the ink cartridge 2 is mounted in the cartridge mounting frame 1, the cartridge body 21 is positioned in the mounting chamber 110, and the ink outlet 211 is connected to the ink supply portion 118, so that the ink in the ink cartridge 2 can be supplied to the print head through the ink outlet 211 and the ink supply portion 118 for printing. The terminals of the chip 24 are brought into contact with the contact pins on the contact pin portion 14 to electrically connect the ink cartridge 2 to the image forming apparatus, and the second engaging portion 230 is engaged with the groove 131a, and the first engaging portion 220 is engaged with the first engaging portion 123, thereby preventing the ink cartridge 2 from being separated from the cartridge mount 1 in the opposite direction of the mounting direction.
When the ink cartridge 2 is detached from the cartridge mounting frame 1, this embodiment has only one way, namely: the pushing part 121 is rotated clockwise to separate the limiting step 123a from the first bump 220a, the ink cartridge body 21 is sprung up under the action of the contact force between the chip 24 and the contact pin part 14, and the ink cartridge 2 is lifted up, so that the ink cartridge can be conveniently detached. In this embodiment, the clamping assembly 23 cannot rotate, move or change position relative to the ink cartridge body 21, so that when the ink cartridge 2 is disassembled, the pushing part 121 can only be rotated to separate the limiting step 123a from the first bump 220a, so that the ink cartridge 2 is extracted, and the chip 24 and the clamping member 22 are ensured to be clean and free from contamination; the ink cartridge is prevented from flowing to the clamping piece 22 and the chip 24 due to the fact that the side, provided with the clamping assembly 23, of the ink cartridge body 21 is lifted first.
In addition, in the present embodiment, the movement of the ink cartridge in the Z direction is restricted by engaging the first projection 220a with the restricting step 123a and engaging the second engaging portion 230 with the groove 131a, so that interference between the ink cartridge and the image forming apparatus is suppressed when the image forming apparatus is in the cartridge replacement/cleaning/standby state. In the cartridge mounting frame 1 positioned at the most +x axis of the image forming apparatus when the image forming apparatus is in the cartridge replacement/cleaning/standby state, this technical means prevents interference with the image forming apparatus in the +z axis side or +x axis direction of the clamping assembly 23. The upper part of the image forming apparatus may have a cover or scanning device, and at the same time, the first engaging member 12 is higher than the rear wall 112 in the +z axis direction, which is a technique that avoids interference in the image forming apparatus in the +z axis direction.
Based on the above embodiment, another embodiment is disclosed in the embodiment of the present application, in this embodiment, the first engaging portion 123 is disposed on the pushing portion 121, and the first engaging portion 123 is provided with a limiting groove 123b, and a limiting plane is disposed in the limiting groove 123 b. Referring to fig. 7 and 8, the engaging member 22 includes a first engaging portion 220, an engaging member body 221 and an operating portion 222, where the engaging member body 221 is connected to the ink cartridge body 21, and the engaging member body 221 can rotate around a connection point between the engaging member body 221 and the ink cartridge body 21, the first engaging portion 220 is disposed on the engaging member body 221, and the first engaging portion 220 is disposed corresponding to the limiting groove 123b, and the operating portion 222 is disposed on the engaging member body 221 and above the first engaging portion 220.
In the present embodiment, the first engaging portion 220 is provided as the second bump 220b. It is understood that in other embodiments, the first engaging portion 220 may be configured in other configurations.
When the ink cartridge 2 is mounted in the cartridge mounting frame 1, the ink cartridge body 21 is positioned in the mounting chamber 110, and the ink outlet 211 is connected to the ink supply portion 118, so that the ink in the ink cartridge 2 can be supplied to the print head through the ink outlet 211 and the ink supply portion 118 for printing. Terminals of the chip 24 are brought into contact with contact pins on the contact pin portion 14, and the cartridge 2 is electrically connected to the image forming apparatus. And the second protruding block 220b is clamped with the limiting plane in the limiting groove 123b, and the second clamping part 230 is clamped with the groove 131a, so that the ink cartridge 2 is prevented from being separated from the ink cartridge mounting frame 1 along the opposite direction of the mounting direction.
As shown in fig. 10, the direction of the main scanning direction (the left-right direction of the cartridge mount 1) in which the cartridge mount 1 portion reciprocates along the guide rail in the image forming apparatus is the Y direction, and the direction of the sub scanning direction (the front-rear direction of the cartridge mount 1) in which the print medium is conveyed is the X direction. The X direction is a direction perpendicular to the Z direction and the Y direction. The ink cartridge 2 is detachably mounted in the cartridge mounting frame 1, and the mounting portion can accommodate a plurality of ink cartridges. Fig. 9 is a schematic view of an ink cartridge mountable to the mounting portion shown in fig. 10. As shown in fig. 10, the length of the ink cartridge in the X-axis direction and the height in the Z-axis direction are different from those of fig. 2. The first joint and the second joint are identical to those in fig. 2.
When the ink cartridge 2 is detached from the cartridge mounting frame 1, the operation portion 222 is rotated clockwise to disengage the second projection 220b from the limiting groove 123b, and the ink cartridge body 21 is sprung up by the abutment force of the chip 24 and the stylus portion 14, so that the ink cartridge 2 is lifted up, and the ink cartridge can be easily detached.
The foregoing is merely a preferred embodiment of the present application, but the scope of the present application is not limited thereto, and any changes or substitutions easily contemplated by those skilled in the art within the technical scope of the present application should be covered by the scope of the present application. Therefore, the protection scope of the present application shall be subject to the protection scope of the claims.
