Description

Method, cable television set-top box and system for responding to emergency broadcast by DRM
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of emergency broadcasting, and particularly relates to a method for responding to emergency broadcasting by DRM, a cable television set top box and a system.
Background
The cable digital television DVB-C set-top box receives, demodulates, demultiplexes and decodes DVB-C broadcast television signals to obtain broadcast television program data, and outputs the broadcast television program data to a television for playing. And when a natural disaster or a social public event occurs, the emergency broadcast management platform sends an emergency message to the DVB-C set top box. The DVB-C set top box has a problem of how to respond to emergency messages and play emergency broadcasts when it is turned off, on standby or playing programs.
The existing emergency broadcasting system inserts the emergency message into the DVB-C broadcast television signal, and the DVB-C set-top box receives and separates the emergency message, and has the disadvantages that the DVB-C receiving module and the main control module 7 x 24 of the DVB-C set-top box are required to operate in real time, and the DVB-C signal receiving, demodulating and decoding require high-frequency components, and the data volume for processing the DVB-C broadcast television signal is large, so that the power consumption for detecting the emergency message in real time by the DVB-C set-top box is large, and the data processing is complex.
The digital am broadcasting DRM standard (ETSI ES 201980 standard) is a digital am broadcasting standard below 30MHZ proposed by the DRM (digital Radio monitor) organization. DRM utilizes digital audio compression, digital communication and signal processing techniques to improve the transmission quality of AM broadcasts while preserving the advantages of analog AM broadcasts. DRM adopts high-efficiency audio coding technology, achieves the tone quality of FM single-channel broadcasting under the analog AM broadcasting bandwidth, and can simultaneously transmit texts, images and data. The method has the advantages of good anti-interference performance, high frequency spectrum utilization rate and small transmitting power.
Therefore, based on the existing problems, the invention considers that the medium and low frequency components are used for receiving, demodulating, decoding, decrypting and analyzing the DRM broadcast signals, has low power consumption, small data volume for processing the DRM broadcast signals and low processing complexity, and combines the DRM and the DVB-C set top box to provide a new technical method so as to solve the problem of how to respond to emergency messages and play emergency broadcasts when the DVB-C set top box is shut down, standby or plays programs.
