Abstract
本发明涉及一种提高PP扁丝白度的方法,其特征在于,使用一种荧光增白剂复合物,所述荧光增白剂复合物由荧光增白剂以及可在所述荧光增白剂的吸收波长范围内发出荧光的荧光增强剂组成,也可以在该荧光增白剂复合物中添加蓝色色粉。该方法可经济有效地增加PP扁丝白度,特别适用于添加回收料制造PP扁丝的工艺。
Description
技术领域
本发明属于材料科学领域,具体涉及一种提高PP扁丝白度的方法。
背景技术
聚丙烯(PP),即丙烯聚合物,为无色半透明的热塑性轻质合成树脂。其性能优良,具有耐化学性、耐热性、电绝缘性、高强度机械性能和良好的高耐磨加工性能等,广泛应用于机械、汽车、电子电器、建筑、纺织、包装、农林渔业和食品工业等领域,是目前第二大通用塑料。
PP扁丝,是截面呈扁平形的PP纤维单丝,塑编行业也称切割纤维,它是生产塑料编织物的基本材料。扁丝由特定品种的聚丙烯树脂经熔融挤出成膜,然后纵向分切成条,诸条同时加热牵伸取向后定型,最终卷绕成扁丝纱锭。
PP扁丝由于用于编织袋行业,人们对其白度有一定的要求。即使完全用新料制造的PP扁丝,由于制造过程中高温、氧化等因素的影响,其制品外观偏黄;在本行业中,一般对废旧PP资源再利用,会掺加一定比例的回收料,其外观更加发黄发暗,影响美观。 为提高PP扁丝的白度,一般采用添加蓝色色粉、荧光增白剂或两种物质的组合的方法。添加蓝色色粉,也称上蓝,可以吸收部分黄绿色光,从而在一定程度上提高制品的白度,但同时牺牲了制品的亮度,使制品发暗。添加荧光增白剂,由于荧光增白剂吸收肉眼看不见的紫外光,发出蓝紫色,可以消除制品黄光,从而使制品更白更亮,是一种较理想的增白方法,但是由于荧光增白剂价格昂贵,在使用上不经济,一般采用荧光增白剂与蓝色色粉配合使用。
发明内容
为克服现有技术中PP扁丝增白方法的缺陷,降低荧光增白剂的使用成本,本发明申请人锐意探索,研发出了一种荧光增强剂,并进一步开发了一种经济地提高PP扁丝白度的方法。
所述荧光增白剂为适用于PP树脂的塑料荧光增白剂,选自荧光增白剂KSN、荧光增白剂OB-1、荧光增白剂OB、荧光增白剂KCB、荧光增白剂ER、荧光增白剂127中的一种或两种及以上组合。
本发明所述的荧光增强剂,可吸收300-350 nm范围内的紫外线,并在350-390 nm范围内发出荧光,荧光增强剂的荧光位于荧光增白剂的吸收范围内,导致荧光增白剂的活性增加、荧光增强。因此,将荧光增白剂与荧光增强剂配合使用,处理后的PP扁丝白度大幅增加。
所述荧光增强剂为2-(4-叔丁基)苯并噁唑或2-(4-甲基)苯并噁唑;其用量相对荧光白剂为100-1000wt%。
所述复合荧光增白剂的含量为50-1000PPM。
进一步地,可在所述荧光增白剂复合物中添加一种蓝色色粉,所述蓝色色粉选自蒽醌蓝、酞菁蓝或群青蓝中的一种或两种及以上组合,所述蓝色色粉的用量为荧光增白剂复合物的0.01-1wt%。
根据本发明的方法,可经济有效地增加PP扁丝白度,特别适用于添加回收料制造PP扁丝的工艺。
具体实施方式
本发明下面将结合具体实施例作进一步详细说明。本领域技术人员应当懂得,本申请并不仅限于该具体实施例中,以下实施例仅用于说明本发明,并不是对本发明的限定。
对照例1
荧光增白剂选用荧光增白剂OB-1。
将荧光增白剂复合物与聚丙烯树脂(100%全新料)混合,荧光增白剂复合物的添加量为100PPM。然后按常规PP扁丝生产工艺制造PP扁丝,用北京康光WSD-3U荧光白度计检测其白度。
实施例1
荧光增白剂复合物的组成为:荧光增白剂OB-1 50%、2-(4-甲基)苯并噁唑50%。
按对照例1制造PP扁丝并检测白度。
实施例2
荧光增白剂复合物的组成为:荧光增白剂KSN 50%、2-(4-叔丁基)苯并噁唑50%。
按对照例1制造PP扁丝并检测白度。
实施例3
荧光增白剂复合物的组成为:荧光增白剂OB 50%、2-(4-叔丁基)苯并噁唑50%。
按对照例1制造PP扁丝并检测白度。
上述对照例及实施例1-3的白度检测结果如下表1:
检测结果显示:实施例1-3可经济有效地增加PP扁丝白度。
对照例2
荧光增白剂选用荧光增白剂OB-1,并在其中添加0.1%群青。
将荧光增白剂复合物与聚丙烯树脂(50%全新料+50%回收料)混合,荧光增白剂复合物的添加量为100PPM。然后按常规PP扁丝生产工艺制造PP扁丝,用北京康光WSD-3U荧光白度计检测其白度。
实施例4
荧光增白剂复合物的组成为:荧光增白剂OB-1 50%、2-(4-甲基)苯并噁唑50%,并在其中添加0.1%群青。
按对照例制造PP扁丝并检测白度。
实施例5
荧光增白剂复合物的组成为:荧光增白剂KSN 50%、2-(4-叔丁基)苯并噁唑50%,并在其中添加0.1%群青。
按对照例制造PP扁丝并检测白度。
实施例6
荧光增白剂复合物的组成为:荧光增白剂OB 50%、2-(4-叔丁基)苯并噁唑50%,并在其中添加0.1%群青。
按对照例制造PP扁丝并检测白度。
上述对照例及实施例1-3的白度检测结果如下表2:
检测结果显示:实施例4-5可经济有效地增加PP扁丝白度。
Claims (2)
1.一种提高PP扁丝白度的方法,其特征在于,使用一种荧光增白剂复合物,所述荧光增白剂复合物由荧光增白剂以及可在所述荧光增白剂的吸收波长范围内发出荧光的荧光增强剂组成,所述荧光增白剂选自荧光增白剂KSN、荧光增白剂OB-1、荧光增白剂OB、荧光增白剂KCB、荧光增白剂ER、荧光增白剂127中的一种或两种及以上组合,所述荧光增强剂为2-(4-叔丁基)苯并噁唑或2-(4-甲基)苯并噁唑,其用量相对荧光白剂为100-1000wt%;所述复合荧光增白剂的含量为50-1000PPM。
2.根据权利要求1的一种提高PP扁丝白度的方法,其特征在于,在所述荧光增白剂复合物中添加一种蓝色色粉,所述蓝色色粉选自蒽醌蓝、酞菁蓝或群青蓝中的一种或两种及以上组合,所述蓝色色粉的用量为荧光增白剂复合物的0.01-1wt%。
