Taking the fully automatic pre-registration method of a five-color (five color sets in total) printing machine as an example, the pre-registration process is shown in fig. 3-8.

and the printing press rollers start to automatically press the fifth color, because each color group is provided with the color register electric eye which can identify and memorize the phase of the guide mark and the color mark printed by the current color group, when the fifth color is identified, the fourth color press roller automatically presses, and the subsequent color groups repeat the steps until the first color press roller presses the first color and identifies and memorizes the mark type and the phase of the color group. In the process, if the color register electric eye does not detect the color scale of the current color group, the position of the color register electric eye is transversely adjusted, and the automatic pressing and printing of the back and front color press rollers are finished.
