Detailed Description

[ first embodiment ] A method for manufacturing a semiconductor device
As shown in fig. 1, a first embodiment of the present invention provides a communication state detection method. The communication state detection method is suitable for a display controller of a display screen control system, and the display screen control system further comprises at least one module controller electrically connected with the display controller; the communication state detection method includes, for example:
s12, sending a data packet including a first check value obtained according to a preset check manner to the at least one module controller;
s14, periodically receiving the verification statistic result obtained by the at least one module controller according to the data packet; and
s16, determining the communication link state between the display controller and the at least one module controller according to the checking statistic result.
For the convenience of understanding the present invention, the communication state detection method of the present embodiment will be described in detail below with reference to fig. 2. Fig. 2 shows a display screen control system, which includes a display controller 100, a module controller 200, and a module controller 300. Specifically, the module controller 200 and the module controller 300 are cascade-connected to the display controller 100. It should be noted that, although only two module controllers, i.e., the module controller 200 and the module controller 300, are shown in fig. 2, in other embodiments, the number of the module controllers may be one or more than two, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited in this respect.
In performing the communication state detection method according to the embodiment of the present invention, the display controller 100 may first obtain a video signal locally from a video source such as a PC or the display controller 100, for example, and then decode the video signal to obtain image data (such as containing RGB data); and verifying the image data according to the preset verification mode to obtain the first verification value, and packaging the packet header information, the image data and the first verification value to obtain the data packet. Here, since the image data is the main data information required for the display screen control system to achieve normal display, the above-described scheme determines the communication link status between the display controller 100 and the module controllers 200 and 300 through the verification of the image data so that the user can more accurately understand the transmission of the image data in the entire communication link.
Alternatively, the display controller 100 may also acquire image or command data; and verifying the image or command data and the header information according to the preset verification mode to obtain the first verification value, and packaging the header information, the image or command data and the first verification value to obtain the data packet. In this case, not only the header information and the image data but also the header information data and the command data are verified, thereby more comprehensively detecting the communication link state of the display screen control system. For example, specifically, when the image data is acquired, the display controller 100 verifies the acquired image data and the packet header information according to a preset verification manner; when the command data is acquired, the display controller 100 verifies the acquired command data and the packet header information according to a preset verification mode; therefore, the image data packet and the command data packet can be verified, and the communication state detection is more comprehensive. For example, in the normal display process of a display screen control system such as an LED display screen control system (including the aforementioned display controller, the aforementioned at least one module controller, and an LED display screen connected to the aforementioned at least one module controller), assuming that a total of one hundred data packets, including ninety image data packets and ten command data packets, are sent from the display controller to the aforementioned at least one module controller for a certain period of time, each of 90 image data packets and 10 command data packets may be verified.
It should be noted that the predetermined Check manner includes a sum Check, a Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) or a parity Check, and of course, the predetermined Check manner may be other manners, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited in detail herein.
Next, the display controller 100 transmits a data packet including the first check value obtained in the preset check manner to the module controller 200 and the module controller 300 to obtain a check statistic result based on the data packet by the module controller 200 and the module controller 300. Specifically, the display controller 100 transmits the data packet to the module controller 200 to obtain a first verification statistical result based on the data packet by the module controller 200, and transpasses the data packet to the module controller 300 by the module controller 200 and obtains a second verification statistical result based on the transpassed data packet by the module controller 300.
Then, the display controller 100 periodically acquires the first and second verification statistical results from the module controller 200 and the module controller 300, respectively.
Finally, the display controller 100 determines a communication link state between the display controller 100 and the at least one module controller (the module controller 200 and the module controller 300) according to the first check statistic result and the second check statistic result. Here, the embodiment of the present invention may determine, through the acquired first verification statistical result and second verification statistical result, not only the communication link state between the display controller 100 and the module controller 200, but also the communication link state between the module controller 200 and the module controller 300.
Referring again to fig. 2, the display controller 100 includes, for example, a programmable logic device 101 and an ethernet physical layer transceiver 102 electrically connected to the programmable logic device 101. The module controller 200 includes, for example, a programmable logic device 201, an ethernet physical layer transceiver 202, and an ethernet physical layer transceiver 203, the programmable logic device 201 being electrically connected between the ethernet physical layer transceiver 202 and the ethernet physical layer transceiver 203. The module controller 300 includes a programmable logic device 301, an ethernet physical layer transceiver 302, and an ethernet physical layer transceiver 303, the programmable logic device 301 is electrically connected between the ethernet physical layer transceiver 302 and the ethernet physical layer transceiver 303, the ethernet physical layer transceiver 102 is electrically connected to the ethernet physical layer transceiver 202, and the ethernet physical layer transceiver 203 is electrically connected to the ethernet physical layer transceiver 302. Specifically, the ethernet physical layer transceiver 102, the ethernet physical layer transceiver 202, the ethernet physical layer transceiver 203, the ethernet physical layer transceiver 302, and the ethernet physical layer transceiver 303 are, for example, ethernet PHY chips, such as RTL8211 PHY chips, but the embodiment of the invention is not limited thereto.
In the communication status detection method according to the embodiment of the invention, before the display controller 100 (for example, the programmable logic device 101 of the display controller 100) sends the data packet containing the first check value obtained according to the preset check manner to the module controller 200 and the module controller 300, the display controller 100 may further obtain link detection result data in registers of the ethernet physical layer transceiver 102, the ethernet physical layer transceiver 202, the ethernet physical layer transceiver 203, and the ethernet physical layer transceiver 302, so as to determine the communication link status between the ethernet physical layer transceiver 102 and the ethernet physical layer transceiver 202, and between the ethernet physical layer transceiver 203 and the ethernet physical layer transceiver 302. Here, in this embodiment, the determination of whether there is a communication abnormal risk in the communication link is realized by obtaining link detection result data of each ethernet physical layer transceiver, so as to realize the preliminary determination of the communication state.
As described above, the process of the display controller 100 acquiring the link detection result data is specifically as follows. The display controller 100 (specifically the programmable logic device 101) first sends a link detection trigger instruction to the programmable logic device 201 via its own ethernet physical layer transceiver 102 and the ethernet physical layer transceiver 202 of the module controller 200. After receiving the link detection trigger command, the programmable logic device 201 sends the link detection trigger command to the programmable logic device 301 via its own ethernet physical layer transceiver 203 and the ethernet physical layer transceiver 302 of the module controller 300. And then the programmable logic device 101, the programmable logic device 201 and the programmable logic device 301 trigger the respective ethernet physical layer transceiver to perform link detection and/or trigger the respective ethernet physical layer transceiver to perform link detection with another ethernet physical layer transceiver directly connected thereto based on the link detection trigger instruction, and link detection result data obtained after the respective ethernet physical layer transceiver performs link detection is stored in a register of the respective ethernet physical layer transceiver. Finally, the display controller 100 may, for example, obtain link detection result data in registers of the ethernet physical layer transceiver 102, obtain link detection result data in registers of the ethernet physical layer transceiver 202 and the ethernet physical layer transceiver 203 through the programmable logic device 201 of the module controller 200, and obtain link detection result data in registers of the ethernet physical layer transceiver 302 through the programmable logic device 301 of the module controller 300.
As mentioned above, the display controller 100, the module controller 200, and the module controller 300 may set their corresponding ethernet physical layer transceivers to a network Diagnostic Test (CDT) mode based on the link detection trigger instruction, so as to trigger each ethernet physical layer transceiver to perform link detection, so that each ethernet physical layer transceiver can obtain the link detection result data. It should be noted that the name of the test mode set by some ethernet physical layer transceivers, such as the network PHY chip, is not "CDT" mode, and therefore, the embodiments of the present invention do not limit this, and only the example of using the test function of the ethernet physical layer transceiver to obtain the link detection result data is described herein.
As mentioned above, the link detection result data includes, for example, one or more of network communication signal-to-noise ratio detection result data, data transmission communication state detection result data, data reception communication state detection result data, ethernet physical layer transceiver temperature power consumption detection result data, and data of whether an open circuit or a short circuit is formed between the interconnected ethernet physical layer transceivers. Specifically, the network communication snr detection result data is used to indicate whether the snr of the ethernet physical layer transceiver is normal, the data transmission communication state detection result data is used to indicate whether the data transmission condition of the ethernet physical layer transceiver is normal, the data reception communication state detection result data is used to indicate whether the data reception condition of the ethernet physical layer transceiver is normal, the ethernet physical layer transceiver temperature power consumption detection result data is used to indicate whether the temperature and power consumption of the ethernet physical layer transceiver are normal, and whether an open circuit or a short circuit is formed between the interconnected ethernet physical layer transceivers or not is used to indicate that a path state between each pair of differential signals between the interconnected ethernet physical layer transceivers is normal, open circuit or short circuit. It should be noted that the link detection result data, such as data transmission communication state detection result data and data reception communication state detection result data, need to be obtained only when the target ethernet physical layer transceiver (i.e., the ethernet physical layer transceiver to be tested) performs data transceiving, and the network communication signal-to-noise ratio detection result data, the ethernet physical layer transceiver temperature power consumption detection result data, and whether there is an open circuit or a short circuit between the interconnected ethernet physical layer transceivers can be obtained without performing data transceiving on the target ethernet physical layer transceiver (i.e., the ethernet physical layer transceiver to be tested).
For example, the ethernet physical layer transceiver 102 can obtain the signal-to-noise ratio value of the communication link in which it is located in the network diagnostic test mode, and the ethernet physical layer transceiver 102 itself has the signal-to-noise ratio threshold, if the signal-to-noise ratio value obtained by the ethernet physical layer transceiver 102 is greater than its signal-to-noise ratio threshold, indicating that there is a risk of communication link abnormality, the ethernet physical layer transceiver 102 will compare the signal-to-noise ratio value obtained by it with its own signal-to-noise ratio threshold value to obtain network communication signal-to-noise ratio detection result data indicating whether its signal-to-noise ratio is abnormal or not and store the data in a register of the ethernet physical layer transceiver 102, in this way, the display controller 100 can obtain the snr detection result data of the network communication in the register 102 of the ethernet phy transceiver, for determining the communication link status between the ethernet physical layer transceiver 102 and the ethernet physical layer transceiver 202.
It should be noted that, the process of determining the network communication state based on the link detection result data may be executed by the display controller 100, or the link detection result data may be sent to the upper computer software on a controller, such as a PC, through the display controller 100, so that the upper computer software determines the communication link state based on the link detection result data and displays the communication link state.
In the foregoing solution, the embodiment of the present invention may not only implement detection of a communication link state by checking a data packet to determine whether a packet loss condition exists, but also determine whether a communication link has a communication abnormal risk by triggering an ethernet physical layer transceiver to perform link detection through the obtained link detection result data, thereby implementing preliminary determination of the communication link state.
[ second embodiment ]
As shown in fig. 3, a second embodiment of the present invention provides a communication state detection method. The communication state detection method is suitable for a module controller of a display screen control system, and the display screen control system also comprises a display controller electrically connected with the module controller; the communication state detection method includes, for example:
s22, receiving a data packet sent by the display controller, wherein the data packet comprises a first verification value obtained by the display controller according to a preset verification mode;
s24, unpacking the data packet to obtain processed data, and verifying the processed data according to the preset verification mode to obtain a second verification value;
s26, judging whether the second check value is matched with the first check value or not, and carrying out error data packet quantity statistics according to the judgment result to obtain a check statistical result; and
s28, periodically sending the checking statistic result to the display controller so that the display controller can determine the communication link state between the display controller and the module controller.
For the convenience of understanding the present invention, the communication state detection method of the present embodiment will be described in detail below with reference to fig. 2 again. The detailed structure of the display screen control system shown in fig. 2 is not repeated herein, and specific reference may be made to the detailed description in the first embodiment.
In executing the communication status detection method according to the embodiment of the present invention, the module controller 200 (for example, the programmable logic device 201 of the module controller 200) first receives a data packet sent by the display controller 100, where the data packet includes a first check value obtained by the display controller according to a preset check mode. It should be noted that the predetermined Check manner includes a sum Check, a Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) or a parity Check, and of course, the predetermined Check manner may be other manners, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited in detail herein.
Next, the module controller 200 unpacks the data packet to obtain processed data, and verifies the processed data according to the preset verification manner to obtain a second verification value.
Then, the module controller 200 determines whether the second check value matches the first check value, and performs statistics on the number of error data packets according to the determination result to obtain a check statistical result. For example, the module controller 200 may determine whether the second check value and the first check value match, for example, whether the second check value is the same as or equivalent to the first check value.
Finally, the module controller 200 periodically sends the verification statistics to the display controller for the display controller to determine the communication link status between the display controller and the module controller.
In the communication status detecting method according to the embodiment of the present invention, before the module controller 200 receives the data packet from the display controller 100 (i.e. before step S22), the module controller 200 (e.g. the programmable logic device 201 of the module controller 200) may further receive a link detection trigger instruction from the display controller 100, and then the module controller 200 controls the ethernet physical layer transceiver 202 to perform link detection or controls the ethernet physical layer transceiver 202 to perform network communication with the ethernet transceiver 102 to obtain link detection result data from the ethernet physical layer transceiver 202 based on the link detection trigger instruction; finally, the module controller 200 transmits the link detection result data to the display controller 100. Here, in the embodiment of the present invention, the determination of whether the communication link has a communication abnormal risk is achieved by acquiring the link detection result data of the ethernet physical layer transceiver, so as to achieve the preliminary determination of the communication state.
For example, after the module controller 200 (e.g., the programmable logic device 201 of the module controller 200) receives the link detection trigger command sent by the display controller 100, the module controller 200 may set the ethernet physical layer transceiver 202 to a network Diagnostic Test (CDT) mode based on the link detection trigger command, so as to trigger the ethernet physical layer transceiver 202 to perform link detection or control the ethernet physical layer transceiver 202 to perform network communication with the ethernet physical layer transceiver 102 to obtain link detection result data from the ethernet physical layer transceiver 202.
In the foregoing solution, the embodiment of the present invention may not only implement detection of a communication link state by checking a data packet to determine whether a packet loss condition exists, but also determine whether a communication link has a communication abnormal risk by triggering an ethernet physical layer transceiver to perform link detection and using obtained link detection result data, thereby implementing preliminary determination of a communication link state.
