A data processing method of a consumable chip comprises the following steps:
step S11: the consumable chip prestores first capacity information, second capacity information and a preset value;
step S12: the image forming apparatus performs a printing operation;
step S13: the imaging equipment calculates the first consumption information and the second consumption information and sends a command for writing the first consumption information and the second consumption signal into the consumable chip;
step S14: the consumable chip stores the second consumption information and does not store the first consumption information;
step S15: the consumable chip judges whether the second consumption information reaches a preset value;
step S16: the consumptive material chip sends and reports error message, makes imaging equipment think that the consumptive material chip makes mistakes, can not be continued to use, when imaging equipment thinks that the consumptive material chip goes wrong, can generate tip information, for example send the chimes of doom, or adopt display screen display etc. for the user can learn the condition that the consumptive material chip takes place the mistake.
Step S17: a user switches on or off the imaging equipment to restart the consumable chip after the consumable chip is powered off;
step S18: the imaging device clears the first consumption information recorded by the imaging device;
step S19: the image forming apparatus calculates a remaining amount of the consumable according to the second consumption information.
Compared with the prior art, since the image forming apparatus in the prior art determines the remaining amount of the consumable according to the first consumption information and the first capacity information, for example, when the consumed consumable amount corresponding to the first consumption information reaches or approaches to the first capacity information, the image forming apparatus considers that the current consumable is exhausted or insufficient, and thus the consumable will not be used for image forming operation; in the invention, the consumable chip does not store the first consumption information, and sends the error reporting information when the second consumption information reaches the preset value, so that the imaging equipment reports errors, and further the imaging equipment determines consumable residual information according to the second consumption information, thereby judging whether the consumable in the consumable box is exhausted or insufficient, because the second consumption information is determined based on the second capacity information, when the second capacity is enlarged/the numerical value of the second capacity information is larger than that of the first capacity information, the imaging equipment can identify and use the enlarged capacity of the part, and the enlargement of the consumable capacity is realized.
It should also be appreciated that the data processing method of the consumable chip provided by the invention only needs to improve the data processing logic of the consumable chip, and does not need to improve the hardware and program design of the existing imaging device, so that the imaging device can identify and use the enlarged capacity of the consumable, thereby greatly reducing the research and development cost and the production cost, and having strong reliability.
FIG. 4 is a schematic diagram of functional modules of the consumable chip according to the present invention.
As shown in fig. 4, an embodiment of the present invention provides a consumable chip 100, which communicates with an imaging device, after the imaging device performs an imaging operation, the imaging device calculates first consumption information and second consumption information based on first capacity information and second capacity information read from the consumable chip, determines consumable remaining information based on the first consumption information or the second consumption information, and stores the first consumption information, where the first consumption information has a higher priority than the second consumption information, and the consumable chip 100 includes:
a receiving module 11 for receiving a command for writing first consumption information and a command for writing second consumption information by the image forming apparatus;
a writing module 12 for writing the second consumption information into the storage area;
the judging module 13 is configured to judge whether the second consumption information reaches a preset value; and
and the error reporting module 14 is configured to feed back error reporting information to the imaging device when the second consumption information reaches the preset value, so that the imaging device deletes the stored first consumption information after the consumable chip is powered on again, and the imaging device determines consumable remaining information based on the second consumption information.
Optionally, the error reporting module 14 includes: the first error reporting unit is used for not responding to the command of the imaging device when the imaging device initiates the command for N times, wherein N is a natural number which is more than or equal to 1. .
Optionally, the error reporting module 14 includes: and the second error reporting unit is used for sending error information to the imaging equipment.

It can be understood that the consumable chip provided in the embodiment of the present invention only stores the second consumption information generated by the imaging device, does not store the first consumption information, and sends the error reporting information when the second consumption information reaches the preset value, so that the imaging device reports an error, and at this time, the imaging device considers that the consumable chip is in error and cannot be used continuously, and further generates an operation for reminding a user to power off the consumable chip, and when the consumable chip is powered on again, the imaging device considers that the consumable is replaced, so as to remove the stored information related to the consumable, then the first consumption information stored in the imaging device is also removed, and meanwhile, the imaging device initiates a reading command for reading the consumable related information stored in the consumable chip, and since the consumable chip does not store the first consumption information, the imaging device determines the consumable remaining information according to the read second consumption information, thereby judge whether the consumptive material in this consumptive material box can also continue to print, because second consumption information is confirmed based on second capacity information, consequently, when the numerical value of second capacity information is bigger than the numerical value of first capacity information when second capacity enlarges, imaging device can discern and use the capacity that this part enlarges, and then realizes the expansion of consumptive material capacity.
The embodiment of the invention provides a consumable, which comprises a consumable box body (or a consumable container) and a consumable chip provided by any embodiment of the invention, wherein the consumable chip is arranged on the consumable box body (or the consumable container), and the consumable chip is used for executing the data processing method.
Embodiments of the present invention provide an imaging device, where the consumable provided in any embodiment of the present invention is installed on the imaging device, and in order to avoid repetition, the embodiments of the present invention are not listed here.
The embodiment of the invention provides a storage medium, which includes a stored program, wherein, when the program runs, a device in which the storage medium is located is controlled to execute a data processing method executed by the consumable chip, the method executed by the consumable chip has corresponding description above, and is not repeated herein to avoid repetition.
Referring to fig. 5, a consumable chip 50 according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided, where the consumable chip 50 includes: a processor 51, a memory 52 and a computer program 53 stored in the memory 52 and operable on the processor 51, wherein the computer program 53, when executed by the processor 51, implements a data processing method of a consumable chip provided in an embodiment of the present invention, the data processing method comprising:
receiving a writing command of the imaging device for the first consumption information and a writing command for the second consumption information, writing the second consumption information into a memory, judging whether the second consumption information reaches a preset value, and sending error information to the imaging device when the second consumption information reaches the preset value, so that the imaging device determines the consumable surplus according to the second consumption information after the consumable chip is powered on again; the imaging device is used for calculating first consumption information and second consumption information based on the read first capacity information and second capacity information of the consumable chip, determining consumable remaining information based on the first consumption information or the second consumption information, and the priority of the first consumption information is higher than that of the first consumption information; the memory 52 is used to store the second consumption information.
Alternatively, the computer program is executed by the processor 51 to implement the functions of each module/unit in the consumable chip 100 shown in fig. 4, and is not repeated herein to avoid repetition.
It can be understood that the consumable chip provided in the embodiment of the present invention only stores the second consumption information sent by the imaging device, does not store the first consumption information, and sends the error reporting information when the second consumption information reaches the preset value, so that the imaging device reports an error, at this time, the imaging device considers that the consumable chip is in error and cannot be used continuously, and further generates an operation for reminding a user to power off the consumable chip, when the consumable chip is powered on again, the imaging device considers that the consumable is replaced, and thus the stored information related to the consumable is removed, then the first consumption information stored in the imaging device is also removed, and meanwhile, the imaging device initiates a reading command for reading the consumable related information stored in the consumable chip, because the consumable chip does not store the first consumption information, the imaging device determines the consumable remaining information according to the read second consumption information, thereby judging whether the consumables in the consumable cartridge can continue printing, and because the second consumption information is determined based on the second capacity information, when the second capacity is enlarged/the numerical value of the second capacity information is larger than the numerical value of the first capacity information, the image forming apparatus can recognize and use the partially enlarged capacity, thereby realizing the enlargement of the capacity of the consumables.
The Processor 51 may be a Central Processing Unit (CPU), other general purpose Processor, a Digital Signal Processor (DSP), an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC), a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) or other Programmable logic device, discrete gate or transistor logic, discrete hardware components, etc. A general purpose processor may be a microprocessor or the processor may be any conventional processor or the like.
It is clear to those skilled in the art that, for convenience and brevity of description, the specific working processes of the above-described systems, apparatuses and units may refer to the corresponding processes in the foregoing method embodiments, and are not described herein again.
In the embodiments provided in the present invention, it should be understood that the disclosed system, apparatus and method may be implemented in other ways. A data processing method of a consumable chip, the consumable chip being in communication with an imaging device, after the imaging device performs an imaging operation, the imaging device calculating first consumption information and second consumption information based on first capacity information and second capacity information read from the consumable chip, and determining consumable remaining information and storing the first consumption information based on the first consumption information or the second consumption information, the first consumption information having a higher priority than the second consumption information, the method comprising:
the consumable chip receives a command of writing the first consumption information and a command of writing the second consumption information by the imaging equipment;
the consumable chip writes the second consumption information into a storage area;
the consumable chip judges whether the second consumption information reaches a preset value;
if yes, the consumable chip feeds back error reporting information to the imaging device, the imaging device deletes the stored first consumption information after the consumable chip is powered on again, and the imaging device determines consumable residual information based on second consumption information stored by the consumable chip.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the consumable chip feeds back error information to the imaging device, comprising:
when the imaging device initiates N times of commands, the consumable chip does not respond to the commands of the imaging device, wherein N is a natural number which is more than or equal to 1.
3. The method of claim 1, wherein the consumable chip feeds back error information to the imaging device, comprising:
and the consumable chip sends error information to the imaging equipment.

A consumable chip that communicates with an imaging apparatus, the imaging apparatus calculating first consumption information and second consumption information based on first capacity information and second capacity information read from the consumable chip after performing an imaging operation, and determining consumable remaining information and storing the first consumption information based on the first consumption information or the second consumption information, the first consumption information having a higher priority than the second consumption information, comprising:
a receiving module for receiving a command of the image forming apparatus to write the first consumption information and a command of the image forming apparatus to write the second consumption information;
a writing module for writing the second consumption information into the storage area;
the judging module is used for judging whether the second consumption information reaches a preset value; and
and the error reporting module is used for feeding back error reporting information to the imaging device when the second consumption information reaches a preset value, so that the imaging device deletes the stored first consumption information after the consumable chip is powered on again, and the imaging device determines consumable residual information based on the second consumption information stored in the consumable chip.
5. The consumable chip of claim 4, wherein the error reporting module comprises:
