Abstract

The invention relates to a refrigerator and/or freezer having a cooled interior and having an open upper side, and at least one push-pull lid by means of which the open upper side of the cooled interior can be opened and closed, wherein the push-pull lid is not only movable, but also pivotable upward and downward about a pivot axis.

Description

Refrigerator and/or freezer
Technical Field
The invention relates to a refrigerator and/or freezer having a cooled interior and having an open upper side, and at least one push-pull lid by means of which the open upper side of the cooled interior can be opened and closed.
Background
In the cold-storage and/or freezer cabinets known from the prior art, the upper and lower push-pull covers have to be removed in a cumbersome manner from the covering frame of the cabinet in order to completely release the upper opening of the cabinet for the loading or unloading process. After the push-pull lid is removed, it must be lowered, which can cause space problems and can lead to damage to the lowered lid.
If the push-pull lid is subsequently reinserted into the frame, it may happen that the insertion is made incorrectly, which results in the push-pull lid no longer being able to be easily moved back and forth.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention is therefore based on the object of improving a refrigerator and/or freezer of the type mentioned at the outset as follows: which considerably simplifies the loading and unloading process with respect to known cold-storage and/or freezer boxes.
This object is achieved by a refrigerator and/or freezer having the features of claim 1. It is hereby proposed that the push-pull lid is not only movable, but also pivotable up and down about a pivot axis.
Thus, if the push-pull lid (at least one) is to be removed from the region of the open upper side of the refrigerator and/or freezer compartment, it is simply pivoted upwards so that the cooled interior space of the refrigerator and/or freezer compartment is very easily accessible. After the loading or unloading process, the one or more push-pull lids can be pivoted downward and the box can be used "normal" again, wherein the one or more push-pull lids are moved in a lateral direction when access to the cooled interior space is required by a customer who wishes to remove merchandise from the cooled interior space.
Thus, according to the invention, one or more push-pull lids do not have to be removed when loading or unloading the refrigerator and/or freezer compartment, since they can be opened or closed. This can apply to each of the push-pull caps or also to only some of the push-pull caps or to only one of the push-pull caps.
It is contemplated that the pivot axis extends in a direction along which the push-pull lid is movable. The one or more push-pull lids are movable along the movement guide means, typically in a sideways direction, i.e. to the right or left from the point of view of a user standing in front of the refrigerator and/or freezer compartment. In this case, the movement guide means is at the same time a pivot axis about which the at least one push-pull cover can be pivoted.
It is pointed out at this point that the term "pivot axis" does not necessarily describe a solid member about which the push-pull cover can pivot, such as a rod or the like (although this is also a possible embodiment of the invention), but can also comprise free space, such as a slot, in which an edge region of one or more push-pull covers is pivotably received.
The push-pull cover can be guided movably in a movement guide, in which the movement guide also simultaneously or as well as the pivot axis extends.
Preferably, the refrigerator and/or freezer compartment has a cover frame forming an upper closure of the apparatus body, and the pivot axis of the push-pull cover and/or the movement guide means are arranged in the cover frame.
Preferably, the cover frame is formed circumferentially. However, this is not necessarily required. The term "covering frame" also includes the case where it is a straight strip, L-shaped piece, U-shaped element, which is located above the body of the device.
It is conceivable for the covering frame to be constructed in multiple parts and to have a fixed section and a section pivotable relative thereto, in which the push-pull cover is displaceably guided. If the pivotable section pivots, the push-pull lid undergoes a corresponding pivoting movement.
A securing mechanism can be provided which prevents the push-pull lid from falling from its upwardly pivoted position into the downwardly pivoted position without force being caused by the user. Thus, the push-pull cover is locked in its upwardly pivoted position and does not cover itself. More specifically, in this embodiment of the invention, a certain force needs to be applied by the user to close the lid.
It is also conceivable that the push-pull cover can be moved only in its downward pivoted position, i.e. in the normal operating position.
The securing means can be formed, for example, by a contour of the pivot axis and/or a contour of the region of the push-pull cover accommodated in the pivot axis.
In a further embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the push-pull cover has an edge region which is accommodated in the pivot axis and is profiled such that the push-pull cover can be removed from the pivot axis in every arbitrary pivot angle, in a defined pivot angle range or in a defined pivot angle.
For example, it is conceivable that the push-pull cover can be removed from the movement guide in a pivoting angle of 45 °, for example for cleaning or replacement.
The box has a front side facing the user and a rear side facing away from the user, wherein it is preferably provided that the pivot axis is arranged on the rear side.
The refrigerator and/or freezer compartment can have a support on its front side, preferably on the cover frame, on which the push-pull cover is supported in the downwardly pivoted state. In the region of the front, the support is a movement guide for the push-pull lid.
It is pointed out at this point that the terms "a" and "an" do not necessarily refer to exactly one of the elements, although this is one possible embodiment, but can also refer to a plurality of the elements. The use of the plural also includes reference to the presence of elements in the singular and vice versa, the singular also including a plurality of the reference elements.
Drawings
Further details and advantages of the invention are explained in detail on the basis of the embodiments shown in the figures.
The figures show:
fig. 1 shows a sectional view through a cover frame of a refrigerator and/or freezer compartment, said cover frame having a pivot axis which is circular in cross-section,
fig. 2 shows a sectional view through a cover frame of a refrigerator and/or freezer compartment, said cover frame having a pivot axis which is hook-shaped in cross-section,
fig. 3 shows a sectional view through a cover frame of a refrigerator and/or freezer compartment, wherein the cover frame is formed in two parts.
Detailed Description
Fig. 1 shows a cross-sectional view of a cover frame 10 of a refrigerator and/or freezer compartment. The cover frame 10 forms a closure of the upper part of the body of the refrigerator and/or freezer compartment and can be constructed completely or partially circumferentially such that it completely or partially surrounds the open upper side of the compartment.
As can be further seen from fig. 1, the covering frame 10 has two "negative" contours, namely recesses 11, 12 into which the edge regions 21, 31 of the push-pull covers 20, 30 are inserted.
The push-pull covers 20, 30 can be configured as plastic plates or glass plates, for example. The push-pull lid can be framed or also frameless. The push-pull lid is movable along the guides 11, 12 perpendicular to the plane of the paper.
The push-pull covers 20, 30 are not only movably arranged in the guide means 11, 12, but are also pivotably arranged, so that the guide means 11, 12 also simultaneously form a pivot axis.
In the state shown in fig. 1, the lid 20 is pivoted upwards, while the lid 30 is in its substantially horizontal position, which is the position occupied by the lid 30 in the normal state of the tank. In this "normal state", both push-pull covers 20, 30 are in their horizontal position and are vertically offset from each other.
If the user wants to remove the goods from the box, the user moves one or both push-pull lids as is known from conventional boxes.
However, if the tank has to be completely loaded or unloaded by staff, for example, i.e. if a large opening is required, one or both of the covers 20, 30 are pivoted such that the open upper side of the tank is largely or completely opened instead of only the area released by the moving push-pull cover.
As can be further seen from fig. 1, the edge regions 21, 31 of the push-pull cover are not circular in cross section, but have two flattened portions a which effect: the push-pull lid can be removed from the guide means 11, 12 at a specific opening angle (e.g. 45 °).
In the example shown in fig. 1, it is possible to open (pivot upward), close (pivot downward), and move the upper cover (20) and the lower cover (30).
The part of the covering frame 10 shown in fig. 1 is located on the rear side of the box, on the front side, push- pull covers 20, 30 are located on the step of the frame front.
Fig. 2 shows an embodiment similar to fig. 1, so that with reference to the above-described embodiment, it is likewise applicable to the design according to fig. 2.
In fig. 2 and 3, identical or functionally identical components have the same reference numerals as in fig. 1.
The difference to the embodiment in fig. 1 is that the receptacles or guides 11, 12 are not circular but hook-shaped. This applies correspondingly to the edge region of the push- pull lid 20, 30 accommodated in the receptacle or guide.
Fig. 3 shows an embodiment in which the cover frame 10 is formed in two parts. Reference numeral K denotes a body rear wall.
The section 100 is fixed and immovable relative to the body of the refrigerator and/or freezer compartment. This section 100 is connected via a hinge S to a movable section 101 where the two push-pull covers are movably guided in guides F1 and F2 that are placed on top of each other.
Therefore, in the embodiment according to fig. 3, the push-pull cover cannot be pivoted integrally with respect to the cover frame, but the portion of the cover frame 101 where the push-pull covers 20, 30 are provided can be pivoted with respect to the box main body or with respect to the fixed portion 100 of the cover frame 10.
An opening limiter can be provided on the cover frame, which defines the end position of the cover or pivotable portion 101 of the cover frame 10.
As is also the case with fig. 2 and 3, the push-pull cover is located on the front on the covering frame or on the frame front in the downwardly pivoted state.
