Abstract
The invention relates to a universal diverter, which is provided with a series of interfaces, one on each surface, and the interfaces can be connected with other universal diverters and other equipment such as shower arms for shower heads integrated with regulating valves, traditional shower heads, handheld shower heads, cleaning hoses, water tanks or other containers through threads, welding, glue connection, screwed pipes or pipelines, and other universal diverters are connected to build a three-dimensional structure containing a plurality of shower heads. The universal diverter of the present invention may also be used for the delivery of other types of fluids, such as gas or oil.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to a universal diverter for a shower cubicle, wherein six interfaces are provided, one of which is provided with a shower head, and furthermore, various personal hygiene and cleaning care devices and even other diverters can be connected.
Background
Shower cubicles are currently used for personal hygiene activities in general, in which hydraulic installations for shower heads are provided.
A typical configuration of a conventional shower head in a shower enclosure is by mounting a shower arm directly in the hydraulic network of the shower enclosure.
It has been observed that many other personal hygiene and cleaning care activities can be performed in the shower enclosure besides the average user, such as bathing young children, bathing elderly people or patients, flushing the shower enclosure with water from a shower head, etc. The conventional arrangement of shower heads in the current shower room does not take these water conditions into consideration.
The invention is therefore intended to protect a universal diverter in which six interfaces are provided, a shower arm and a spherical shower head for a shower head with integrated regulating valves, the subject matter of international patent applications PCT/MX2018/000032 and PCT/MX2018/000047, and other devices required by the user to which the nipples, pipes and diverters can be connected, including other universal diverters, each interface being used as a fluid inlet or outlet, the unused interfaces being stoppered by a plug, the interfaces being usable by removing the plug when ready for use. There is currently no record of such a universal diverter.
The features and details of such a universal diverter are set forth in more detail in the following description and the accompanying drawings.

Figure 17 shows how the universal diverter according to the invention can be connected to other diverters and to various accessories, such as shower arms and ball showerheads, traditional showerheads, hand showerheads and hoses with integrated regulating valves, in the subject matter of international patent applications PCT/MX2018/000032 and PCT/MX2018/000047, to achieve the delivery of water from the installed plant or the intake of water from the pump to the plant.
The universal flow divider is an effective solution in the aspect of distribution of fluids such as water, gas and oil through six interfaces of the universal flow divider, and is also a basic element in the aspect of construction of a shower water supply network in a low-pressure or normal-pressure environment.
Detailed description of the invention
The universal shunt (fig. 1, 3, 4 and 6) according to the invention is preferably made of a metallic material, such as brass or chrome-plated brass, but can be made of any other material that can achieve the object of the invention; the universal flow divider (figure 1, figure 3, figure 4 and figure 6) is provided with an interface (2.1) on each surface (1.1), wherein the interface (2.1) is structurally arranged to be used as a fluid outlet or inlet according to the needs of a user; each interface (2.1) is provided with a threaded connection medium (2.2) or a non-threaded connection medium (4.1 and 6.1), and the connection is carried out by welding or special glue through a connecting element such as a nipple (fig. 7, 8, 9 and 10) and a threaded section (7.2) screwed into the universal shunt (fig. 1, 3, 4 and 6) to a water flow network or through a nipple (11.1 in fig. 11) or a pipe to other equipment or other universal shunts (fig. 12, 14 and 17), and the length of the connection can be determined according to the needs of users.
The universal diverter (fig. 1, 3, 4 and 6) can be provided with up to six nipples (11.1 in fig. 11), each nipple (11.1) can be connected with one universal diverter (fig. 1, 3, 4 and 6) or with shower arms for showerheads with regulating valves integrated in the subject matter of international patent applications PCT/MX2018/000032 and PCT/MX2018/000047, hand shower heads (13.1) arranged on the shower wall by means of hoses (13.2), traditional shower heads (12.3) with shower arms (12.2), hoses (17.2) for cleaning shower cubicles, at the same time, the water can also be supplied by the outlet (17.7) of a water pump (17.8) which connects one end of a hose (17.2) to a container (17.5) for storing water (17.6) as a hydraulic network, and in the case of water shortage, water can be supplied from the container placed above and can be delivered by gravity. A nipple or pipe or other equipment, and a stop cock for controlling flow in addition to the main valve, if necessary.
The diameters of the interfaces (2.2, 4.1 and 6.1) on the general flow divider valve (figure 1, figure 3, figure 4 and figure 6) can be different, the unused interfaces (2.2, 4.1 and 6.1) can be blocked by a screw cap (15.1), and the screw cap (15.1) can be taken down, namely, a screwed connection pipe can be connected to connect more general flow dividers or other equipment.
The universal diverter (fig. 1, 3, 4 and 6) of the invention is a combined part which can be connected with other diverters through screwed pipes (11.1), and can form a combined three-dimensional structure through connecting nuts (16.1) to form a required length, wherein a plurality of shower heads can be arranged in small compartments which are fixed on the floor by fixing plates (14.1) and covered by curtains in a high-pressure or low-pressure environment.
A preferred embodiment of the invention is shown in fig. 17, in which the universal diverter (fig. 1, fig. 3, fig. 4, fig. 6 and fig. 17) is connected with a threaded section (7.2) to the water supply network of the bathroom, and in which several nipples (11.1) are provided to connect other universal diverters (fig. 17), in which the centrally located universal diverter (17.4) is connected with a shower arm for shower heads with integrated regulating valves of the subject matter of international patent application nos. PCT/MX2018/000032 and PCT/MX2018/000047, and in which a nipple (11.1) provided with a flow regulator (17.1) is connected below said universal diverter, said nipple (11.1) being connected with a hose to connect with a hand-held shower head (13.1) provided on the wall of the bathroom by means of a holder (13.3). The upper connector is provided with a screwed connection pipe (11.1) with a water flow adjusting key (17.1). The nipple (11.1) can be connected to a water tank, the water tank can also be a water tank or a container placed above a shower head, the universal diverter (figure 17) arranged at one side of the universal diverter at the central position is connected with a traditional shower arm (12.2) provided with a water flow adjusting key (17.1) at one side and is connected with a nipple (11.1) provided with a water flow adjusting key (17.1) at the other side, a section of hose (17.2) is connected to the nipple (11.1), and the length of the hose (17.2) is determined according to the needs of users, so that the universal diverter can be used for flushing a shower room or filling water into a water tank and the like. After connecting one end (17.3) of the hose (17.2) to an output shaft (17.7) of a water pump (17.8) installed in a container (17.5) containing water (17.6), the hose (17.2) can also be used for supplying water to the installed equipment.
A preferred embodiment of the invention is shown in fig. 14, where the universal diverter (fig. 1, 3, 4 and 6) is the connection point of the whole structure, the whole structure is built up by nipples of various lengths, the downwardly extending water pipe is fixed on the floor, supporting the whole structure, the side water pipe from which the other interface of the universal diverter extends connects to other universal diverter and the shower arm for shower head and spherical shower head with integrated regulating valve of the subject matter of international patent application numbers PCT/201mx 8/000032 and PCT/MX2018/000047, any interface can connect the shower arm and shower head.
In another preferred embodiment of the invention, the universal diverter is used as a connecting element in the construction, the universal diverter is very flexible in the construction, the interface can be blocked or not blocked according to the requirement to determine whether water, gas or oil passes through, and the interface and the screwed pipe or the pipe can be blocked to allow the fluid to flow to the required place.
Claims (6)
1. 4. The universal diverter according to claim 1, wherein the universal diverter is used as a primary element of construction of a structure in which a plurality of shower heads or other equipment are installed.
5. The universal shunt of claim 1, wherein said universal shunt comprises a screw cap for plugging or unplugging said interface.
6. The universal flow splitter as recited in claim 1, wherein the nipple and the pipe of the universal flow splitter contain a stop cock for regulating flow in addition to the main switch.
