本各発明は、湯水混合水栓の水栓本体と、水道配管の端末部との間に介在される分岐接続具に関する。

【従来の技術】
湯水混合水栓においては、その水栓本体に給湯を行う湯側の連絡流路若しくは給水を行う水側の連絡流路に分岐流路を設け、この分岐流路によって、食器洗浄乾燥機、浄水器等の水栓関連機器に給湯若しくは給水を行うことがある。例えば、図3に示すように、水栓本体11の湯側及び水側の各接続口12、13と、湯側及び水側の各水道配管の端末部6a、6bとの間に、支持接続具61、62を介在させる湯水混合水栓10において、水栓本体11の一方の接続口12(13)と、一方の支持接続具61(62)との間に分岐継手70を付加し、他方の接続口13(12)と、他方の支持接続具62(61)との間に直管継手75(所謂、アダプター)を付加することがある。そして、分岐継手70の一側方に設けられた分岐接続口71に、水栓関連機器との間に介在される導管80の基端部を接続することが行われている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ここで、水栓関連機器の設置位置は、台所、洗面所、浴室等の湯水混合水栓の設置個所の状況や、使用者の好み等に応じて選択されるのが一般的である。例えば、図3に示す流し台5において、水栓本体11の右側方の箇所5aにしか空きスペースがなく、水栓関連機器(図示を省略)をこの空きスペースに設置することが必要となることがある。

しかし、図例の場合には、左側に位置する湯側に分岐継手70が付加されており、しかも、分岐接続口71が水栓関連機器の設置部位とは逆方向を指向している。このため、導管80の基端部側を反転状に湾曲させて分岐接続口71に接続すると共に、この導管80を、図示一点鎖線Dに示すように、水側の支持接続具62や直管継手75等との干渉を回避しつつ、水栓本体11の下方等を煩雑に引き回し、前記右側方の箇所5aに到達させることが必要である。従って、例えば、水栓本体11の下方等に導管80の中間部が垂れ下がり、湯水混合水栓10の設置個所の美観を大きく損なう。また、分岐継手70と直管継手75とで1セットの分岐接続具を構成するため、独立した部品の点数が多く、搬送、保管、梱包等の取り扱いが煩雑である。

【課題を解決するための手段】
先ず、請求項1の発明は、「湯水混合水栓の水栓本体と、水道配管の端末部との間に介在される分岐接続具であって、前記水栓本体に給湯を行う湯側の連絡流路を備える湯側継手部と、前記水栓本体に給水を行う水側の連絡流路を備える水側継手部と、を一体的に設け、湯側の連絡流路若しくは水側の連絡流路の一方に分岐流路を設けると共に、湯側継手部及び水側継手部の双方に、前記分岐流路の解放部を構成する分岐接続口を設けたことを特徴とする分岐接続具」である。
