In order to solve the problem of paging conflict of a multi-card wireless communication terminal, the method and the system can determine the terminal behavior when the paging conflict occurs, and report the relevant information of the paging occasion which is determined not to monitor a paging channel by the terminal to a corresponding communication network. According to the reported information of the terminal, the communication network can not send the paging message aiming at the SIM card of the terminal at the paging occasion which is determined by the terminal and is not monitored by the paging channel, thereby avoiding the paging conflict of different SIM cards. For example, it can be implemented by the following embodiments.
Fig. 1 illustrates a flow diagram of some embodiments of a method of controlling paging of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 1, the method includes: step 110, determining a paging occasion; step 120, determining paging conflict; step 130, determining paging indication information; and step 140, sending paging indication information.
In step 110, each paging occasion of each SIM card on the terminal is determined according to the network parameters received from the communication network corresponding to each SIM card.
In some embodiments, where the communication network is a 5G network, the network parameters may include one or more of 5G-S-TMSI (5G Short temporal Mobile Subscriber Identity, 5G Short Temporary Mobile Subscriber Identity), DRX cycle (Discontinuous Reception paging cycle), PF offset (paging frame offset), total number of paging frames within one DRX cycle, total number of paging occasions within one paging frame.
In some embodiments, where the communication network is a 4G network, the network parameters may include at least one of DRX Cycle, nB (paging capacity).
In step 120, according to each paging occasion, relevant information of paging collision between the SIM card on the terminal and other SIM cards on the terminal is determined.
In some embodiments, in the case that there is an overlapping portion in time between the paging occasions of the SIM card on the terminal and the paging occasions of other SIM cards on the terminal, it is determined that the SIM card has a paging collision at the paging occasion.
In some embodiments, in the case that the time interval between the paging occasion of the SIM card on the terminal and the paging occasions of other SIM cards on the terminal is less than the time length required by the terminal to switch networks, it is determined that the SIM card has a paging collision at the paging occasion.
In step 130, according to the relevant information of each paging conflict, determining paging indication information of the corresponding SIM card, which is used to indicate whether each communication network sends a paging message to the SIM card on the relevant time resource of each paging occasion. For example, the relevant information of paging collision includes time information of paging collision, collision period information.
In some embodiments, according to the relevant information of each paging conflict, relevant time resource information of a paging occasion, in which the SIM card does not monitor, is determined as paging indication information for indicating that a corresponding communication network does not send a paging message to the SIM card in the relevant time resource information. For example, the related time resource information includes at least one of a system frame number, a subframe number, and a symbol sequence number of a paging occasion that the terminal does not monitor, or a sequence number of the paging occasion.
In some embodiments, the periodicity of occurrence of the collision may be determined according to the collision period information, so that the paging indication information in all collision periods may be determined by calculating the paging indication information in only one collision period. Thus, the processing efficiency can be improved.
In step 140, corresponding paging indication information is sent to each communication network. For example, the communication network does not transmit the paging message on the time resource information related to the paging occasion to which the terminal does not monitor, according to the paging indication information.
Fig. 2 shows a flow diagram of further embodiments of a paging control method of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 2, the method may further include: step 210, determining a paging indication period; and step 220, sending a paging indication period.
In step 210, the paging indication cycle of the paging occasion of each SIM card is determined, and the paging indication information about each corresponding paging occasion is the same in different paging indication cycles.
In step 220, a corresponding paging indication period is sent to each communication network. In this way, each paging indication information in one paging indication cycle only needs to be determined, and the communication network can be indicated when to transmit the paging information in the whole time period, so that the processing efficiency is improved.
In some embodiments, in response to the change of the paging indication information of the SIM card, the changed paging indication information is sent to the communication network corresponding to the SIM card.
In some embodiments, in response to receiving new network parameters from the communication network, the paging indication information of the SIM card is re-determined according to the new network parameters.
In some embodiments, the multi-card wireless communication terminal receives one or more related network parameters sent by the communication network to different SIM cards for calculating paging occasions. And the multi-card wireless communication terminal calculates the paging time aiming at each SIM card according to the network parameters. And determining paging occasions involved when the paging conflicts occur between the other SIM cards and the SIM card and the period of the paging conflicts according to the paging occasions of each SIM card.
For example, for each SIM card, when the paging occasions of the other SIM cards overlap with the paging occasions of the SIM card in time, or the paging time interval is less than the time required for switching the terminal radio frequency unit, the multi-card wireless communication terminal considers that the paging occasions of the SIM card and the paging occasions of the other SIM cards have paging conflicts.
For example, there may be one or more paging collisions within a collision period. The time difference between the starting time of the paging conflict in the conflict period and the starting time of the paging conflict protrusion at the corresponding position in the next conflict period adjacent in time is always the conflict period.
For example, the time corresponding to the collision period may be an integral multiple of the time length of the discontinuous reception period of the SIM card and the SIM card with paging collision.
In some embodiments, the multi-card wireless communication terminal determines a decision period (paging indication period) and a decision (paging indication information) in the decision period for each SIM card, and is used for indicating whether the terminal monitors a paging channel corresponding to the SIM card at a paging occasion involved in paging collision. For example, for each SIM card, the corresponding decisions of the paging occasions affected by the paging collision at the same position in each decision period are the same for the multi-card wireless communication terminal. Namely, the corresponding decision is to monitor the paging channel of the SIM card on the paging occasion of the same position or not.
For example, one or more paging collisions may exist within a decision period of the multi-card wireless communication terminal. The time difference between the paging conflict starting time in the decision period and the paging conflict starting time at the corresponding position in the next decision period adjacent in time is always the decision period.
For example, the duration of the decision period for each SIM card may be an integral multiple of the duration of the collision period for that SIM card.
In some embodiments, for each SIM card, the multi-card wireless communication terminal reports the relevant information of the paging occasion that the terminal determines not to monitor the paging channel to the corresponding communication network. At paging occasions when a multi-card wireless communication terminal decides not to listen to the paging channel, the communication network does not send paging messages for the terminal's SIM card.
In some embodiments, if the decision of the multi-card wireless communication terminal changes, the terminal reports the relevant information of the paging occasion without monitoring the paging channel to the corresponding network again.
In some embodiments, if the paging occasion for any SIM card obtained by the multi-card wireless communication terminal from the communication network changes, the terminal re-determines the paging occasion, paging collision cycle, decision cycle, and decision involved in the paging collision, and reports the relevant information of the paging occasion that does not monitor the paging channel to the corresponding communication network.
For example, when a decision of the multi-card wireless communication terminal is changed or a paging occasion for any SIM card obtained from the communication network is changed, the terminal may report only paging occasion information that does not monitor the paging channel and whose paging occasion is changed to the communication network.
In some embodiments, the multi-card wireless communication terminal is a dual-card dual-standby mobile phone. The mobile phone has two SIM cards: the SIM cards 1, 2 belong to the communication network 1 and 2, respectively. The communication network 1 and the communication network 2 may be a fourth generation mobile communication system (4G) network and a fifth generation mobile communication system (5G) network belonging to different operators, respectively.
In some embodiments, after the dual-card dual-standby mobile phone is powered on, the mobile phone establishes signaling connection with the communication network 1 and the communication network 2 through the SIM card 1 and the SIM card 2, respectively.
The communication network 1 issues network parameters related to the calculation of the paging occasion to the mobile phone. The Mobile phone calculates the paging occasion according to the IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber identity Number) corresponding to the SIM card 1 and the received network parameter. The communication network 2 issues network parameters related to the calculation of the paging occasion to the mobile phone. And the mobile phone calculates the paging time through the 5G-S-TMSI corresponding to the SIM card 2 and the received network parameters. For example, the calculation results in the embodiment of fig. 3 can be obtained.
Fig. 3 illustrates a schematic diagram of some embodiments of a control method of paging of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 3, each system frame of the communication network 1 is 10ms long and a sub-frame is 1ms long. The discontinuous reception period of the SIM card 1 is 64 system frames, i.e. 640 ms. The system frame number corresponding to the paging occasion of the SIM card 1 is modulo 64 plus 3, and the subframe number corresponding to the paging occasion of the SIM card 1 is modulo 10 plus 1.
In the communication system corresponding to the communication network 1, the dual-card dual-standby mobile phone is awakened once every 640ms, and a paging channel is monitored on a subframe time resource corresponding to a system frame number of modulo 64 plus 3 and a subframe number of modulo 10 plus 1 to acquire a paging message.
Each system frame of the communication network 2 is 10ms long and each sub-frame is 1ms long. The discontinuous reception period of the SIM card 2 is 32 system frames, i.e. 320 ms. The system frame number corresponding to the paging occasion of the SIM card 2 is modulo 32 or 2, and the subframe number corresponding to the paging occasion of the SIM card 2 is modulo 10 or 5.
In the communication system corresponding to the communication network 2, the dual-card dual-standby mobile phone is awakened once every 320ms, and a paging channel is monitored on the subframe time resource corresponding to the system frame number of modulo 32 to modulo 2 and the subframe number of modulo 10 to modulo 5 so as to acquire a paging message.
Fig. 4 shows a schematic diagram of further embodiments of a paging control method of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 4, the mobile phone determines the paging occasions related to the paging collisions and the paging collision occurrence periods for the SIM card 1 and the SIM card 2, respectively. The time of the communication network 1 and the time of the communication network 2 are not synchronous, and the mobile phone can obtain the time information of the two networks. For example, system frame 0 of communication network 1 may be 5.5ms earlier than system frame 0 of communication network 2.
The paging collision of the SIM card 1 may occur in a period of 640ms, where the system frame number corresponding to the paging occasion involved in the collision is modulo 64 to 3, and the subframe number modulo 10 to 1. That is, in subframe 1 of system frame 3 of the communication network 1, and in subframe 1 of system frame 67 (and so on), the paging occasion corresponding to the SIM card 1 and the paging occasion corresponding to the SIM card 2 partially overlap in time.
The paging collision of the SIM card 2 may occur in a period of 640ms, and the system frame number corresponding to the paging occasion involved in the collision is modulo 64 plus 2, and the subframe number is modulo 10 plus 5. That is, in subframe 5 of system frame 2 of communication network 2, subframe 5 of system frame 66 (and so on), the paging occasion corresponding to SIM card 2 partially overlaps in time with the paging occasion corresponding to SIM card 1.
The paging collision period of each SIM card may correspond to an integral multiple of the time corresponding to the discontinuous reception periods of SIM card 1 and SIM card 2.
The mobile phone respectively determines a decision period aiming at the SIM card 1 and the SIM card 2, and whether the terminal monitors the paging channel of the SIM card at the corresponding paging occasion when the paging conflict occurs in the decision period. For example, the decision may be as in the embodiment shown in FIG. 5.
Fig. 5 is a diagram illustrating further embodiments of the paging control method of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 5, the decision period of the SIM card 1 may be selected to be an integral multiple of the paging collision period, such as 1280ms, i.e. 128 system frames of the communication network 1. Furthermore, the mobile phone can determine to monitor the paging channel of the SIM card 1 at the paging occasion with the system frame number modulo 128 by 3 and the subframe number modulo 10 by 1; and not monitoring the paging channel of the SIM card 1 on the paging occasions that the system frame number is more than 128 modulo and 67, and the subframe number is more than 10 modulo 1.
The decision period of the SIM card 2 may be selected to be an integral multiple of the paging collision period, such as 1280ms, i.e. 128 system frames of the communication network 2. Furthermore, the mobile phone can determine to monitor the paging channel of the SIM card 2 at the paging occasions when the system frame number is modulo 128 plus 66 and the subframe number is modulo 10 plus 5; and not monitoring the paging channel of the SIM card 2 on the paging occasions that the system frame number is modulo 128 and more than 2 and the subframe number is modulo 10 and more than 5.
At other paging occasions of each SIM card which are not influenced by paging conflict, the mobile phone still monitors the paging channel of the corresponding SIM card.
In some embodiments, the mobile phone reports the determined paging occasion related information, which is not monitored for the paging channel, to the corresponding communication network for the SIM card 1 and the SIM card 2, respectively.
For example, for the communication network 1, the information reported by the mobile phone may include: the decision period is 1280ms (or the corresponding number of system frames is 128); the system frame number corresponding to the paging occasion not monitored is modulo 128 by 67, and the subframe number is modulo 10 by 1.
For example, for the communication network 2, the information reported by the mobile phone may include: the decision period is 1280ms (or the corresponding number of system frames is 128); the system frame number corresponding to the paging occasion not monitored is modulo 128 or more than 2, and the subframe number is modulo 10 or more than 5.
In some embodiments, the mobile phone may also report the sequence number of the paging occasion that is not monitored in the decision period. For example, for the SIM card 1, the sequence number of the paging occasion that is not monitored in a decision period is 2; for the SIM card 2, the paging occasion sequence number that is not monitored in one decision period is 1.
In some embodiments, after receiving the information reported by the mobile phone, the communication network 1 does not send the paging signal of the SIM card 1 at the paging occasion when the system frame number is modulo 128 but 67 and the subframe number is modulo 10 but 1.
In some embodiments, after receiving the information reported by the mobile phone, the communication network 2 does not send the paging signal of the SIM card 2 at the paging occasion when the system frame number is modulo 128 or more than 2 and the subframe number is modulo 10 or more than 5.
In some embodiments, the handset changes the decision to: for the communication network 1, the decision period is 1280ms, the system frame number corresponding to the paging occasion which is not monitored is modulo 128 or more than 3, and the subframe number is modulo 10 or more than 1; for the communication network 2, the decision period is 1280ms, the system frame number corresponding to the paging occasion not monitored is modulo 128 by 66, and the subframe number is modulo 10 by 5. Under the condition, the mobile phone reports the changed paging occasion information which does not monitor the paging channel to the corresponding communication network.
In some embodiments, if the handset receives a new parameter related to calculating the paging occasion from any communication network, the handset should recalculate the paging occasion. And then, the mobile phone judges the paging occasion and the paging conflict period related to the paging conflict again, determines the decision period and the related decision again, and reports the paging occasion information without monitoring the paging channel to the corresponding network again.
Therefore, when the mobile phone monitors the paging channel of one communication network, other communication networks can not send paging messages to the mobile phone, and paging conflicts aiming at different SIM cards of the mobile phone are further avoided.
In the above embodiment, the paging occasions for sending the paging messages are indicated for each communication network according to the paging collision of each SIM card. Therefore, the problem that the paging message cannot be received due to paging collision can be avoided, and the communication performance is improved.
Fig. 6 illustrates a block diagram of some embodiments of a control apparatus for paging of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 6, the paging control device 6 includes an opportunity determination unit 61, a collision determination unit 62, an instruction determination unit 63, and a transmission unit 64.
The timing determining unit 61 determines each paging timing of each SIM card based on network parameters received from the communication network corresponding to each SIM card on the terminal.
The conflict determination unit 62 determines the relevant information of the paging conflict between the SIM card on the terminal and the other SIM cards on the terminal according to each paging occasion. For example, the relevant information of paging collision includes time information of paging collision, collision period information.
In some embodiments, the conflict determination unit 62 determines that the SIM card has a paging conflict at a paging occasion when there is an overlapping portion in time between the paging occasion of the SIM card on the terminal and the paging occasions of other SIM cards on the terminal.
In some embodiments, the conflict determination unit 62 determines that a paging conflict occurs at a paging occasion of a SIM card on a terminal in a case that a time interval between the paging occasion of the SIM card and paging occasions of other SIM cards on the terminal is less than a time period required for the terminal to switch networks.
The indication determining unit 63 determines paging indication information of the corresponding SIM card according to the relevant information of each paging conflict, for indicating whether each communication network sends a paging message to the SIM card on the relevant time resource of each paging occasion.
In some embodiments, the indication determining unit 63 determines, as the paging indication information, time resource information related to a paging occasion for which the SIM card does not monitor, for indicating that the corresponding communication network does not send a paging message to the SIM card in the time resource information related. For example, the related time resource information includes at least one of a system frame number, a subframe number, and a symbol sequence number of a paging occasion that the terminal does not monitor, or a sequence number of the paging occasion.
In some embodiments, the indication determining unit 63, in response to receiving new network parameters from the communication network, re-determines the paging indication information of the SIM card according to the new network parameters.
