Background
When the user takes the terminal away from the range managed by the mobile phone card issuing attribution area, the attribution operator provides service for the user terminal through roaming service. However, since the access of the roaming service needs to sequentially pass through the roaming network and the home network to implement the network service, a time delay exists when the user uses the network service through the roaming service, which affects the user experience.
In the prior art, an operator sinks a Network service to a Network edge through a Content Delivery Network (CDN) technology, so that a roaming user terminal accesses a roaming Network from the Network edge, roaming service access is implemented, and a delay of roaming service access is reduced.
However, in the prior art, only the roaming service can be accessed by utilizing the network edge in the same operator network. When a user uses networks of different operators to perform inter-network roaming, roaming service access still needs to be realized through a Serving GPRS Support Node/PDN GateWay (GGSN/PGW) of a home location, which results in a delay in roaming service access.

Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present invention clearer, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some, but not all, embodiments of the present invention. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a network architecture for implementing a roaming service by a terminal in the prior art. As shown in fig. 1, the network architecture includes the following three main components: a terminal (User Equipment, abbreviated as UE), an Evolved UMTS Terrestrial Radio Access Network (Evolved Universal Radio Access Network, abbreviated as E-UTRAN), and five major Network elements of a packet core Network. The five network elements of the packet core network comprise: a Mobility Management Entity (MME), a Serving GateWay (SGW), a Packet Data Network GateWay (PGW), a Home Subscriber Server (HSS), a Policy and Charging Rules Function Entity (PCRF).
For example, the UE may be a mobile terminal such as a mobile phone, a tablet, a computer, etc., and is connected to the E-UTRAN through an LTE-Uu interface. The E-UTRAN may be composed of a plurality of evolved nodebs (enodebs), which are interconnected with each other through an X2 interface, and connected with the EPC through an S1 interface.
The MME is a control plane of a Serving General packet radio service (SGSN), and is responsible for processing signaling of a user service, completing management of a mobile subscriber, and interacting with an eNodeB, an HSS, and an SGW. The MME interfaces with the HSS via an S6a interface, with the SGW via an S11 interface, and with the base station eNodeB via an S1-MME interface, which are all IP protocol based.
The SGW functions in concert with the MME. In short, the SGW is the service plane of the SGSN and is responsible for handling the user's service and for performing the bearer of the mobile data service. And interacts with devices such as eNodeB, MME and PGW. The SGW is connected to the MME through an S11 interface, connected to the PGW through an S5 or S8 interface (distinguished in roaming service processing, for example, the same operator uses an S5 interface, and different operators use an S8 interface), and connected to the base station eNodeB through an S1-U interface, which are all based on an IP protocol.
The PGW functions very similar to a Gateway GPRS Support Node (GGSN), and is responsible for interfacing with the Internet and interacting with devices such as PCRF and PGW. The PGW is connected with the SGW through an S5 or S8 interface, connected with the PCRF through a Gx interface, and connected with the PDN through an SGi interface, and the interfaces are all based on an IP protocol. The PGW does not directly interface with the base station eNodeB.
The HSS is a central database containing subscriber related information and subscription related information. The functions of the HSS include mobility management, support for call and session establishment, user authentication and access authorization.
As shown in fig. 1, when the terminal roams to a Visited domain core Network (VPLMN for short), roaming data needs to return to a PGW of a Home domain core Network (HPLMN for short). In the transmission process of the roaming data, due to the time delay of data transmission, the roaming service experience of the terminal is seriously influenced.
In order to improve service processing timeliness of roaming services and reduce time delay of the roaming services, the embodiment of the invention provides a method for obtaining policy information set when a user opens an account from a home policy network element and downloading the policy information to a policy information smart card, so that a terminal directly obtains the policy information from the smart card when the terminal performs roaming services, and controls specific service parameters accessed by the roaming services according to the policy information, thereby improving the processing timeliness of the roaming services and reducing the time delay of the roaming services.
The technical solution of the present invention will be described in detail below with specific examples. The following several specific embodiments may be combined with each other, and details of the same or similar concepts or processes may not be repeated in some embodiments.
Fig. 2 is a first flowchart of a roaming service access control method according to an embodiment of the present invention. An executing subject of the method of this embodiment may be a smart card installed on the terminal in fig. 1, and for example, the smart card may be a SIM card, an internet of things card, or an eSIM card. As shown in fig. 2, the roaming service access control method includes the following steps:
s201: and receiving a signal which is transmitted by the terminal and accessed to the roaming place network, and transmitting a policy information acquisition request to the home policy network element according to the roaming place network signal.
In the embodiment of the invention, after the terminal is started, whether the current registered network roams the local network is judged firstly. Specifically, according to the roaming log-in registration process of the mobile terminal, after the terminal logs in the network, the terminal first registers the card opening information of the user to which the terminal belongs to a Location Register (VLR) network element of a visited place. Then, the visitor location VLR network element will inquire the user information to the HSS network element of the user home location and initiate the user identity authentication. After the user identity authentication is passed, the terminal will initiate a user location update request to the home HSS network element, and this location update request will update the user location information stored in the HSS network element, so that it can determine whether the terminal is in the home network by inquiring the user location information stored in the HSS.
In the embodiment of the invention, when the terminal does not belong to the network of the home, namely the current terminal is in the network range of the roaming place, the terminal sends a signal for accessing the network of the roaming place to the intelligent card installed on the terminal. Establishing connection with the home policy network element through a terminal, and sending a policy information acquisition request to the home policy network element, wherein the policy information acquisition request is used for acquiring policy information stored in the home policy network element. Specifically, the home policy network element is a home H-PCRF network element, where the H-PCRF is configured to implement a policy and charging rule function of the home network. The policy information is package data signed by the user when opening the card, and specifically includes parameters such as the total package amount of the user, the package allowance of the user, the types of services that can be used, the service list that can be accessed, and the like, the QoS level of the user, the network rate that can be used, and the like. The policy information is mainly used for managing and controlling network services used by users.
S202: and receiving the strategy information sent by the home strategy network element, and sending the strategy information to the terminal so that the terminal controls the access of the roaming service according to the strategy information.
In the embodiment of the invention, the intelligent card establishes connection with the home policy network element and sends the request for acquiring the policy information to the home policy network element. And the attribution policy network element sends the policy information to the intelligent card, and the intelligent card downloads the policy information to a memory of the chip.
In the embodiment of the invention, the intelligent card transmits the strategy information to the terminal, so that the terminal can directly control the roaming service access request according to the strategy information sent by the intelligent card when the roaming service is carried out. In a possible implementation manner, if the roaming service access request conforms to the policy information, the roaming service access request is sent to the roaming place network element, so that the roaming place network element processes the roaming service access request. Specifically, if the terminal performs service analysis on the specific parameter of the roaming service access request according to the policy information, it is determined whether the roaming service access request meets the access policy requirement set in the policy information. Specifically, whether the requirement of the access policy is met is judged, and mainly whether enough margin in a user package meets the access request of the roaming service, and whether the network of the roaming service visited by the user meets the service list is judged. If the roaming service access request meets the access strategy requirement, the roaming service access request is sent to a service SGSN/SGW support node, and the gateway directly accesses the network through the GGSN/PGW gateway of the roaming place and uses the network of the roaming place to realize network service.
It can be known from the above embodiments that the terminal obtains the policy information set when the user opens an account from the home policy network element, and downloads the policy information to the policy information smart card, so that the terminal directly obtains the policy information from the smart card when performing the roaming service, thereby implementing localization of access policy information in the roaming service process. And the specific service parameters in the roaming service access request are controlled according to the strategy information, so that the roaming service access is controlled by the terminal according to the strategy information, the processing timeliness of the roaming service access is improved, and the time delay of the roaming service access is reduced.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart illustrating a roaming service access control method according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 3, on the basis of the embodiment of fig. 2, the roaming service access control method provided in the present invention further includes the following steps:
s301: receiving the latest charge information sent by the terminal, wherein the latest charge information is obtained by the terminal according to the charge information and the charge information of the roaming service if the terminal judges that the PDP is deactivated and sent, and the charge information is returned by the home charging system after the terminal sends a signaling for obtaining the charge information to the home charging system.
When the terminal judges that the roaming service access request meets the access policy requirement according to the policy information stored in the smart card, the terminal realizes network service through the roaming local network. Therefore, in order to manage the network service charges of the user, the terminal needs to record the charge information of the roaming service in real time. In order to avoid exceeding the residual cost in the user account, the terminal sends the obtained cost information signaling to the home location charging system, receives the cost information returned by the home location charging system, and transmits the cost information to the intelligent card for storage. The charge information mainly comprises charge information of a current account of the user.
In the embodiment of the invention, when the terminal uses the network service according to the roaming place network, the charge information generated by the roaming service is recorded in real time, and the latest charge information at the end of the network service is obtained according to the charge information returned by the home charging system and the charge information generated by the roaming service. Specifically, according to the rule set by the signaling flow of the mobile network data service, after the network service is finished, if no data traffic is generated within a certain time period, the network side sends a message of PDP deactivation to notify the terminal to deactivate the PDP connection, and the terminal can confirm whether the network service is finished by monitoring the activation message of the PDP. And if the terminal judges that the PDP is deactivated, the latest charge information is sent to the intelligent card for storage.
S302: and receiving an access home network signal sent by the terminal, and sending the latest charge information to a home charging system according to the access home network signal.
In the embodiment of the invention, when the terminal judges that the terminal returns to the range of the home network, the terminal sends a home network access signal to the intelligent card. And the intelligent card sends the latest user ticket information to the attribution charging system. Specifically, the intelligent card establishes data communication with the home GGSN/PGW gateway through the terminal, and sends the latest user ticket information to the home GGSN/PGW gateway. And the home GGSN/PGW gateway stores the latest call ticket information to a GGSN/PGW call ticket database, and the charging system finishes the user charging by acquiring GGSN/PGW call ticket files.
S303: and deleting the strategy information and the latest expense information.
In the embodiment of the invention, because the data storage capacity of the smart card is limited, after the smart card sends the latest charge information to the home charging system, the policy information and the latest charge information stored in the smart card are deleted, and the roaming data of the roaming service is deleted.
It can be known from the above embodiments that the localization of the charging ticket is realized by the terminal obtaining the existing charge information of the user from the home charging system and storing the information in the smart card. And the terminal records the cost generated by the roaming service in real time, realizes roaming charging localization, stores the latest cost information of the user in the intelligent card, and uploads the latest cost information to the home charging system by the intelligent card when the terminal returns to the home network, thereby realizing the synchronization of the charging ticket and the network measurement.
