Description

Audio adjusting method and audio adjusting device
Technical Field
The present invention relates to an audio adjusting apparatus and an audio adjusting method, and more particularly, to an audio adjusting apparatus and an audio adjusting method capable of increasing user experience.
Background
In the current situation of first-person games or movie viewing, the frames and audio data are important criteria for users to determine various scenes. However, the screen can only present the view in front of the user, and the user can perform scene analysis according to the scene in the view together with the audio data, such as coming from the left or coming from the front. However, in some scenes in a game or a video, there may be sound sources in places where the user cannot see the view, such as a car coming from behind, a person in a distant place, or a faint sound of an animal passing through, which is also an important basis for the user to determine the action content or the evolution of a scenario. However, the sound sources or faint sounds outside the field of view usually need to be changed or adjusted by the user to know the correct condition of the sound sources.
However, when the user needs to concentrate on the content before the eyes for a long time, it is not easy to easily determine the correct sound sources or faint sounds outside the field of view.
If the user wants to know the details of the sound source, he or she needs to turn the character in the game or move the character in the direction of the sound to know the correct condition of the sound source, but the character in the game may be exposed to danger; as for watching the movie, the user cannot further understand the sound content according to his/her preference because of the lack of interactivity. If during the process of playing games or watching movies, users can easily know the audio data in each direction in the games or movie movies by using the habitual small movements of the users in reality, such as listening to the ears, without changing the direction or position of the game characters, which is helpful to improve the interactive experience of the users for the games or movies.
When the playing system is a multi-channel loudspeaker, if the user moves the head to a certain direction, the sound from the loudspeaker in the direction and the adjacent direction is increased, and the sound from the opposite loudspeaker is decreased, so that the effect of listening by the ears can be realized, and the effect is more obvious when the moving distance is larger; however, if a headphone system, such as a headphone, an earphone, an in-ear earphone, etc., is used, the same effect cannot be achieved.
Therefore, it is an important issue in the industry to provide an audio adjusting apparatus and an audio adjusting method that enable a user to know the correct condition of audio data in each direction in a game or a movie only by a small motion.
The invention adopts a positioning module to detect the displacement of the head of the user, namely the moving direction and distance, so as to adjust the audio content, so that the head-wearing playing system can achieve the effect of listening to the ears, and the problems are solved.

calculating a displacement amount by a positioning module (step S102);
calculating a plurality of gain values corresponding to the displacement amount by a processing module (step S103);
adjusting respective volume levels of the plurality of directional audio signals according to the plurality of gain values (step S104);
converting the plurality of directional audio signals into a playing audio signal (step S105); and
the playing audio signal is played through a head-mounted playing device (step S106).
Further, in step S104, the following steps are further included:
selecting one of a plurality of gain modes, and adjusting the respective volume of the directional audio signal according to the gain values and the gain mode.

In the present embodiment, the respective gain values of the directional audio signals are inversely proportional to the respective distance values of the directional audio signals. That is, the more distant the sound is, the smaller.
In other embodiments, the respective gain values of the plurality of directional audio signals are inversely proportional to the square of the respective distance values. That is, sounds at greater distances will sound less loudly than sounds at closer distances and will be louder than sounds at volumes inversely proportional to the distance values.
In addition, in step S104, the volume adjusting module 13 may further adjust the respective volume levels of the audio signals in the plurality of directions according to the gain adjusting mode selected by the mode selecting unit 102. In the second mode, the gain calculating unit 101 calculates respective gain values of the plurality of directional audio signals according to the displacement calculated by the positioning module 11, and further analyzes whether each directional audio signal contains important contents for the user, such as gunshot, talk, etc., to determine whether to increase the gain value. That is, in the second mode, the specific audio content signal in the audio signals in the plurality of directions is analyzed and selected, and then the gain value is adjusted. That is, the second mode is that the gain calculating unit 101 calculates respective gain values of the plurality of directional audio signals and respective gain values of a specific audio content signal in the plurality of directional audio signals according to the displacement of the positioning module 11.
The positioning module 11 can be a joystick device, a button device, a touch device, or a position sensing device, which can be designed according to actual requirements, and is not limited in the present invention.
In the present embodiment, the positioning module 11 includes a sensing unit 111 and a timing unit 112.
