Generally, a cover is provided on a display screen of a mobile terminal such as a mobile phone. The cover plate is typically formed of glass to protect the internal structure of the handset. For example, when the mobile phone falls to the ground, the display screen of the mobile phone can be protected from being damaged, and the anti-falling and anti-breaking functions are provided for the internal structure of the mobile phone. Since the cover plate needs to protect the internal structure, the requirements in terms of strength, rigidity, and discretion are high.
When the mobile phone is a folding mobile phone, the cover plate covering the display screen needs to be folded transversely or longitudinally. In order to meet the daily performance requirements of the cover plate such as strength, hardness and the like, the cover plate needs to have a certain thickness. However, when the thickness is too large, the required bending performance of the foldable mobile phone will be affected. For this reason, a cover plate having a relatively thin thickness is manufactured, but such a cover plate cannot be mass-produced and is difficult to manufacture.

According to an aspect of the embodiments of the present disclosure, there is provided a cover panel 10 (hereinafter, simply referred to as a cover panel) that may be used for a foldable mobile terminal. The foldable mobile terminal may be a foldable mobile phone, a foldable tablet computer, a foldable personal digital processor, a foldable notebook computer, a foldable camera, etc.
Referring to fig. 1, the cap plate 10 includes: a first member 100, and a second member 200 formed of a different material than the first member 100.
The first member 100 includes a first region 120 and a second region 130, and the first region 120 and the second region 130 are connected by a bent portion 110. The bending part 110, the first region 120, and the second region 130 may be integrally formed.
The first region 120 and the second region 130 may be rotated based on the bent portion 110 so that the first region 120 and the second region 130 may be folded opposite to each other. That is, the first region 120 and the second region 130 may be folded with reference to the bent portion 110. When the first area 120 and the second area 130 are folded, the first area 120 and the second area 130 may overlap each other.
The bent portion 110 is formed along the widthwise direction or the lengthwise direction of the cap plate 10. Thus, the first region 120 and the second region 130 can be folded with reference to the width direction or the length direction of the cover panel 10. The first region 120 and the second region 130 may be folded in a direction in which the front faces of the cover panel 10 face each other, or may be folded in a direction in which the rear faces of the cover panel 10 face each other.
The bending part 110 has a first surface 111 opposite to the first surface 111, and a second surface 112 opposite to the first surface 111. The first region 120 has a third surface 121 in the same direction as the first surface 111 of the bending part 110, and a fourth surface 122 opposite to the third surface 121. The second region 130 has a fifth surface 131 in the same direction as the first surface 111 of the bending part 110, and a sixth surface 132 opposite to the fifth surface 131.
The distance between the first surface 111 and the second surface 112 is smaller than the distance between the third surface 121 and the fourth surface 122. The distance between the first surface 111 and the second surface 112 is smaller than the distance between the fifth surface 131 and the sixth surface 132. That is, the thickness of the bending portion 110 is smaller than the thickness of the first region 120 and smaller than the thickness of the second region 130.
The second member 200 is disposed at the bent portion 110 between the first region 120 and the second region 130. The second member 200 is connected to at least one of the first surface 111 and the second surface 112 of the bent portion 110. The flexibility of the second member 200 is greater than the flexibility of the first member 100.
The above structure constitutes the cover plate 10 of the present embodiment, the first member 100 of the cover plate 10 is integrally formed, and the bending operation is performed at the bent portion 110. The first member 100 needs to secure a certain thickness, but if the thickness of the first member 100 is too thick, the bending operation may be difficult.
Therefore, in the present embodiment, the thickness of the bent portion 110 fabricated as the bent region is smaller than the thicknesses of the first region 120 and the second region 130. In order to secure the strength, hardness, toughness, and the like of the cover plate 10 to protect the internal structure of the cellular phone, the thicknesses of the first and second regions 120 and 130 may be 0.4mm or more and 0.7mm or less. As an example, the thickness of the first region 120 and the second region 130 may be 0.6 mm. By the thickness of the first region 120 and the second region 130 set as above, the first member 100 has a certain strength, and the strength of the cover plate can be secured.
As a material for forming the first region 120 and the second region 130, glass having a certain flexibility and having light transmittance, or a flexible foldable urethane resin may be used.
The second member 200 may be formed of a material having high light transmittance and high compressibility, for example, optical clear adhesive (OCA adhesive) or the like. The present invention is not limited thereto, and may be used as a forming material of the second member 200 as long as light transmittance is satisfied and compressibility is greater than that of the first and second regions 120 and 130.
The thickness of the bent portion 110 may be 0.04mm to 0.09 mm. As an example, the thickness of the bent portion 110 may be 0.07 mm.
Since the material forming the second member 200 as the bending region has high compressibility and the thickness of the bent portion 110 is thin, the bending requirement of the folded screen can be achieved, for example, the bending life can reach more than 20 ten thousand times. The thickness of the first region 120 and the second region 130 ensures the daily performance requirements of the non-folding region such as strength, hardness, toughness and the like, and the strength of the non-folding region can reach 7H. Therefore, through the above arrangement, not only can the service life of the folding performance be satisfied, mass production be realized, but also the strength requirement of the cover plate 10 can be satisfied, and even if the mobile phone falls to the ground, the internal structure of the mobile phone can be protected from being damaged.
The structure of the mobile terminal cover of the present disclosure may take various embodiments, and the mobile terminal cover of the present disclosure will be described below in two embodiments.
In one embodiment, the first member 100 is in a shape of a letter of Chinese character 'ao', and the first surface 111, the third surface 121, and the fifth surface 131 form one surface.
In one embodiment, the second member 200 has a seventh surface 201 and an eighth surface 202 opposite to each other, and the seventh surface 201 is in fit connection with the second surface 112.
In one embodiment, the eighth surface 202 forms one surface with the fourth surface 122 and the sixth surface 132.
Referring to fig. 1, the first member 100 is in a shape of a Chinese character 'ao', two ends of the Chinese character 'ao' are a first region 120 and a second region 130, respectively, and the middle recessed portion is a bending portion 110. The second member 200 is in the form of a strip, and the thickness thereof is smaller than the depth of the recessed portion of the recessed character, in which the second member 200 is filled.
In one embodiment, the second member 200 has good compressibility.
