The invention discloses a composition for tooth whitening and oral cavity maintenance, toothpaste and a kit comprising the composition, and a method for tooth whitening and oral cavity maintenance by using the composition, wherein the composition comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 3-50 parts of hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide, 1-80 parts of amino alcohol, 0.5-10 parts of sodium polyacrylate and 40-90 parts of water.
