Abstract

The invention provides a golf club head measuring method, which is used for solving the problem that a large amount of time and labor cost are consumed for manually measuring the flatness of a detection surface of a semi-finished golf club head product in the prior art. Background
After a golf club head semi-finished product and a striking panel are formed by alloy, the striking panel is required to be welded on the golf club head semi-finished product, and the flatness of the striking panel is further measured after the welding is finished so as to ensure that the striking panel is really welded to a preset position, thereby avoiding the striking panel from forming deflection or protruding out of the club head and the like to cause unqualified products. However, the above operations are performed manually, which consumes a lot of time and labor cost, and when different persons perform the measurement, there are differences in judgment, and the result is misjudged due to human errors.
In view of the above, there is a need for an improved method for measuring a golf club head.

In order to solve the above problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a method for measuring a golf club head, which can save labor when measuring the flatness of a detection surface of a semi-finished golf club head.

Specifically, a vertical distance D between the striking panel portion and the measuring device 2 can be measured by the measuring device 2, and the vertical distance D can be compared with a standard value. For example, the striking panel portion may have a plurality of detecting positions H21, and the measuring device 2 may have a plurality of detecting elements 21, and the detecting elements 21 may be respectively aligned with a detecting position H21 on the detecting surface H2 to measure the vertical distance D from each detecting element 21 to the aligned detecting position H21. Therefore, the measured result of the head semi-finished product H1 is compared with the standard value, and whether the flatness of the striking panel part of the head semi-finished product H1 meets the standard or not can be judged.
With continued reference to fig. 1, it should be noted that the detecting portion H21 of the semi-finished club head H1 may be located at the outer periphery of the striking plate portion and adjacent to the Toe portion (Toe) of the semi-finished club head H1 and the Heel portion (Heel) of the semi-finished club head H1, and the detecting portions 21 may be used to measure the vertical distances from the detecting portion H21 of the striking plate portion located on the detecting face H2, the detecting portion H21 adjacent to the Toe portion and the detecting portion H21 adjacent to the Heel portion, respectively, to the detecting portion H21 of the striking plate portion, the detecting portion H21 adjacent to the Toe portion and the detecting portion H21 adjacent to the Heel portion, so as to compare the relative positions of the striking plate portion and the Toe portion and the Heel portion to determine whether the striking plate portion meets a predetermined position, thereby further detecting the flatness of the striking plate portion with respect to the semi-finished club head H1 of different individuals, the method can be applied to detecting products which cannot be compared with standard club heads, such as different customized club heads.
In summary, the golf club head measuring method of the present invention can determine whether the flatness of the detected surface of the semi-finished golf club head meets the standard by measuring the vertical distance between the detected surface of the golf club head and the measuring device, and then comparing the measured vertical distance with the standard value, and can replace manual operation with computerization, thereby achieving the efficacy of reducing labor cost, avoiding errors caused by manual interpretation, and achieving the efficacy of measuring accuracy.

Claims (4)

1. A method of measuring a golf club head, comprising:
positioning a semi-finished club head by a positioning device; and
providing a measuring device, wherein the measuring device is provided with a plurality of detecting parts, the vertical distance from the plurality of detecting parts to a detecting surface of the semi-finished product of the club head is respectively measured, the detecting surface is provided with a plurality of detecting positions, the plurality of detecting positions are positioned on a striking panel part of the semi-finished product of the club head, and the plurality of detecting parts are respectively aligned to the detecting positions so as to measure the vertical distance from each detecting part to the aligned detecting position.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the positioning device has a crown holding portion and a sole holding portion opposite to each other, and the semi-finished golf club head is held by the crown holding portion and the sole holding portion.
3. The method of claim 1, wherein the vertical distance of the semi-finished golf club head is compared with a standard value of a standard semi-finished golf club head to determine whether the semi-finished golf club head meets a predetermined specification.

The method of claim 1, wherein the testing surface has a plurality of testing locations respectively located on the striking plate portion of the semi-finished club head, adjacent to the toe portion of the semi-finished club head, and adjacent to the heel portion of the semi-finished club head, and the plurality of testing members are aligned with the testing locations respectively to measure the vertical distance from each testing member to the aligned testing locations.
