Abstract
The invention discloses a method, a system and a user terminal for processing authentication abnormity, wherein the processing method is used for the user terminal and comprises the following steps: setting the waiting time of authentication abnormity; initiating a request for a mobility management procedure; receiving an authentication request initiated by a network; after replying authentication failure and receiving authentication rejection sent by a network, executing the following steps: and monitoring whether the message rejected by the mobility management procedure is received or not within the abnormal authentication waiting time, and if so, performing abnormal processing according to the EMM cause in the message rejected by the mobility management procedure. Compared with the prior art, the invention can enable the UE to be synchronized with the network as soon as possible so as to obtain the uplink and downlink service capability, and effectively improves the success rate of accessing the user terminal to the network after the authentication is abnormal.
Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of mobile communication, and particularly relates to a method and a system for processing authentication abnormity and a user terminal.
Background
A UE (User Equipment, also called a mobile terminal) normally registers in LTE (Long Term Evolution), if an Attach (one of the special Registration procedures initiated by the LTE mobile terminal) or a TAU (Tracking Area Update, one of the special Registration procedures initiated by the LTE mobile terminal) or a mobility management procedure such as a Service Request or an Extended Service Request is initiated, or the UE initiates a Registration procedure or a Service Request procedure in a 5G (fifth generation mobile communication technology) scenario. The network initiates authentication interaction with the UE, because of a certain temporary anomaly, after the UE replies a failed authentication result, the network issues an authentication rejection, at this time, the UE enters a Deregistered (Deregistered) state, which is regarded as an invalid SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card, and subsequently, if the network issues a corresponding Reject message, the UE discards the messages, so that the UE cannot be normally synchronized with the network within a period of time, which may result in failure to receive downlink data (such as a called phone) and initiate uplink service (such as a calling phone), i.e., the UE cannot acquire any LTE service in the power-on state of this time, and only can make an emergency call and the like.
Disclosure of Invention
The technical problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide an authentication exception processing method, system and user terminal for overcoming the defect that the UE cannot be synchronized with the network within a period of time in the case of a temporary exception when the network authenticates the UE after the UE initiates a relevant procedure, and for the temporary exception, the UE can be synchronized with the network as soon as possible, so as to obtain uplink and downlink service capabilities.

The invention is further illustrated by the following examples, which are not intended to limit the scope of the invention.
Example 1
As shown in fig. 1, this embodiment provides a method for processing an authentication exception, which is used for a user terminal, and the method includes the following steps:

Security can be improved by integrity protection checks. The following describes an authentication exception processing flow for Attach between a user terminal and a network in an LTE application scenario, with reference to fig. 2 in particular.
Step one, after the UE is started or after the network is successfully resided under LTE, initiating an Attach Request (carrying authentication information of historical registration, such as ksi (key set identifier) of 1, wherein the value range of ksi is 0-7, 0-6 is a valid value and represents the authentication information carried in the successful historical registration, and 7 is an invalid value);
secondly, the network initiates an Authentication process, namely, an Authentication Request;
thirdly, the UE replies an Authentication Failure (Authentication Failure) response;
fourthly, the network issues Authentication Reject (Authentication Reject) because the UE or the network has some temporary abnormality, and the UE waits for a certain time (depending on the UE implementation, such as starting a 1 second timer, etc.);
fifthly, if the network issues Attach Reject within the waiting time, the message carries a corresponding EMM cause, which is divided into the following two cases:
1) if the UE successfully checks the integrity of the Attach Reject, performing subsequent processing according to the EMM cause in the Attach Reject;
2) if the UE fails to check the integrity of the Attach Reject or does not have integrity protection, the UE considers the SIM card as invalid until shutdown or SIM card removal;
if the network does not issue an Attach _ Reject within the waiting time, the UE retries Attach once (carrying invalid authentication information, e.g., ksi is 7).
After the authentication of the LTE terminal in the Attach process is rejected, it may be seen whether the subsequent network issues an Attach Reject and parameters therein to continue processing the subsequent NAS (non-access stratum) flow.
For the prior art, in the fourth step, because the UE or the network has some temporary abnormality, after the authentication issued by the network is rejected, the UE usually enters a registration-removing state, which is considered as invalid SIM card, and the UE cannot process the Attach Reject issued subsequently by the network, and the UE cannot acquire any LTE service in the current power-on state. Based on the improved processing method of the embodiment, the UE waits for a certain time, and if the network issues the Attach Reject within the waiting time and carries the corresponding EMM cause, the UE further analyzes the EMM cause to obtain the reason of the authentication abnormality, performs targeted processing, and can recover the synchronization with the network as soon as possible for the temporary abnormality.
The request flows of other mobility management procedures are also similar, and are not described in detail herein.
In this embodiment, for an authentication exception after a UE side initiates a request of a mobility management procedure, a waiting time is increased, whether a message rejected by the mobility management procedure is received is monitored within the waiting time, after the message is received, a corresponding exception handling is performed by analyzing an EMM cause carried in the message, and after the processing is completed, the UE and a network can be synchronized. Compared with the prior art, the embodiment can enable the UE to be synchronized with the network as soon as possible so as to obtain the uplink and downlink service capability, and effectively improves the success rate of accessing the user terminal to the network after the authentication is abnormal.
Example 2
The embodiment provides a processing system for authentication exception, which is used for a user terminal, and as shown in fig. 3, the processing system includes a setting module 1, a requesting module 2, a receiving module 3, a monitoring module 4, an exception handling module 5, and a checking module 6.
The setting module 1 is used for setting the waiting time of authentication abnormity; the authentication exception latency is less than 10 seconds. The request module 2 is for initiating a request for a mobility management procedure. At this time, the request carries the authentication information of the history registration. The receiving module 3 is used for receiving an authentication request initiated by a network.
The monitoring module 4 is used for monitoring whether a message rejected by the mobility management procedure is received or not within the abnormal waiting time of authentication by starting a timer after the authentication is failed and the authentication rejection sent by the network is received, and calling the checking module 6 if the message rejected by the mobility management procedure is received; if not, the request module 2 is called again, and the request initiated by the request module 2 is called again carries invalid authentication information.
The checking module 6 is configured to perform integrity protection check on the received message rejected by the mobility management procedure, invoke the exception handling module 5 if the check is successful, and consider the SIM card to be invalid if the check fails or the received message rejected by the mobility management procedure does not have integrity protection.
The exception handling module 5 is configured to perform exception handling according to the EMM cause in the received message rejected by the mobility management procedure.
In this embodiment, the user terminal may be a user terminal in an LTE application scenario, or may be a user terminal in a 5G application scenario. When the ue is a ue in an LTE application scenario, the Request of the mobility management procedure includes at least one of an Attach Request, a TAU Request, a Service Request, and an Extended Service Request.
