The shapes of concrete test pieces selected for determining the compressive strength of concrete internationally at present are a cylinder and a cube. The compressive strength of concrete is determined by a cubic test piece according to the national rules, and the cubic test piece is used as a basis for evaluating the strength grade of the concrete.
