The OSD content to be displayed comprises at least one of characters, graphs and icons.
Specifically, step S11 is, for example: the method comprises the steps of obtaining an OSD display instruction triggered by operation of a user on a control component, wherein the OSD display instruction corresponds to a control mode of the user on the control component.

s133: and adjusting the transparency of the OSD picture according to the target transparency coefficient.
For better understanding of the present embodiment, the following takes the display screen as an LED display screen as an example, and the specific process and principle of the OSD display method based on the LED display screen of the present embodiment are described with reference to fig. 4 to fig. 7.
As shown in fig. 4, the OSD displaying method based on the LED display screen provided in this embodiment is suitable for the display control card 100 in the display system 10, and displays characters, pictures, icons, and the like to be displayed on the display screen 200 connected to the display control card 100. The display system 10 may, for example, include an upper computer 400, a display controller 300, a display control card 100, and a display screen 200, which are connected in sequence. The upper computer 400 may be, for example, a PC, and is configured to configure the display screen 200 through the display controller 300 and the display control card 100, or send control instructions and data to the display controller 300 and the display control card 100. The display controller 300, also called a transmitting card, has a function of performing image processing on received image data and packing the processed image data into a corresponding format, for example, a network packet format, and outputting the packed image data to the display control card 100, which may also typically implement its function by using a programmable logic device.
As mentioned above, as shown in fig. 5, the display control card 100 may include, for example, an image data input circuit 120, a programmable logic device 110, and a display data and control signal interface 130. The programmable logic device 110 is connected between the image data input circuit 120 and the display data and control signal interface 130. The image data input circuit 120 is used for receiving a video source or an image input by the display controller, wherein the image data input circuit 120 may be an ethernet interface circuit, for example. The ethernet interface circuit includes, for example, an ethernet interface, and an ethernet physical layer transceiver connected between the ethernet interface and the programmable logic device 110, and may further include a network transformer connected between the ethernet interface and the ethernet physical layer transceiver. The ethernet interface is, for example, an RJ45 interface. In addition, the image data input circuit 130 may also be an optical interface circuit, which may for example include an optical fiber interface and a photoelectric conversion module connected between the optical fiber interface and the programmable logic device 110, for receiving and processing image data transmitted through the optical fiber. The Programmable logic device 110 may be, for example, an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) for performing image processing on image data acquired from the image data input circuit 120, converting the processed image data into display data and control signals in a specific format, such as TTL format, and outputting the display data and control signals to the display screen 200 connected thereto through the display data and control signal interface 130. The display data and control signal interface 130 may be, for example, a pin header, a box header, etc. connector. More specifically, as shown in fig. 6, the programmable logic device 110 further includes, for example, a soft core processing unit 111, a data buffer unit 112, an OSD data processing unit 113, an image superimposing unit 114, and a data conversion unit 115. The soft core processing unit 111 is, for example, MicroBlaze, which is a microprocessor IP core based on the Xilinx company FPGA. The system can respond to software and hardware interrupts to perform exception handling, and can expand external interrupts and the like by adding control logic. The data buffer unit 112 may be, for example, a RAM inside the programmable logic device 110, and is used for buffering data during operation. The OSD data processing unit 113 is, for example, a unit or a module that processes OSD data. The image superimposing unit 114 is used, for example, to perform superimposition processing on at least two images or layer data. The data conversion unit 115 is configured to convert the image data after the superimposition processing into display data and a control signal.
The display screen 200 may be, for example, an LED display screen, which may include at least one LED lamp panel, and each of the LED lamp panels includes a plurality of LED lamp points. Typically, the display screen 200 is used to transmit display data and control signals input by the display control card 100 to the LED lamp panel connected thereto to display corresponding images.
The OSD display method based on the LED display screen provided in the embodiments of the present invention mainly obtains an OSD picture by processing according to a target display parameter and OSD contents to be displayed, and obtains and outputs a target output picture by superimposing the target output picture with an image to be output, that is, by adding an image processing process and logic to the OSD contents to be displayed, various OSD contents such as characters, icons, pictures, and the like can be displayed, different background colors, transparency coefficients, and the like can be set by the target display parameter, so that the diversity of the display contents and the display effects of the OSD picture is improved, and the user experience is also improved, which is specifically as follows:
first, the soft core processing unit 111 of the programmable logic device 110 of the display control card 100 acquires an OSD display instruction. The OSD display instruction may be transmitted by the display controller 300 after being received by the image data input circuit 120 from the upper computer 400, so that the user can display the interface between the LED display screen and the upper computer in a linkage manner when using the OSD display function, thereby enhancing the man-machine interaction function. The OSD display instruction may include two items of OSD content and display parameters of the OSD content, or only one item may be identified by the OSD content. Specifically, the OSD content identifier may be, for example, a preset identifier representing the OSD content, for example, a four-bit binary representation is adopted, 0001 represents the OSD content as "current temperature of display screen", 0010 represents the OSD content as "current serial number of LED box", and the like. The OSD content may include at least one of characters, graphics, and icons, for example. Furthermore, the characters can adopt TTF (true Type font) fonts, which can support not only conventional character display, but also special characters, graphics and the like, and can support the equal-scale amplification of the fonts and the graphics, and meanwhile, the support of various colors is increased, the display flexibility is greatly increased, and the requirements of various display interfaces can be met. The display parameters may include, for example, a display range (including position and size), a background color, a display color, a transparency coefficient, etc. of the OSD content. These data may be, for example, pre-stored in a memory, such as a non-volatile memory, within display control card 100 for access by programmable logic device 110.
Of course, as shown in fig. 7, the display control card 100 may further include a manipulation unit 140, and the manipulation unit 140 is connected to the programmable logic device 110. The soft core processing unit 111 may further obtain the OSD display instruction triggered by the operation of the manipulating component by the user, where the OSD display instruction corresponds to the manipulating mode of the manipulating component by the user. The manipulation part 140 may include, for example, but not limited to, a key, a joystick, a knob, a touch screen, and the like. The manipulation modes of the manipulation member 140 by the user include, for example and without limitation: the number of times of pressing the key, the duration of pressing, the direction, speed and distance of shaking the rocker, the direction and angle of rotation of the knob, and the touch operation on the touch screen. The OSD display instruction is obtained through the keys, instead of the upper computer 400 and the display controller 300, so that the OSD display can be realized without connecting the display controller 300, and the application scene of the OSD display is expanded; meanwhile, different OSD display instructions are generated through different control modes of the control component, for example, when a user triggers different key-press times, different OSD contents can be displayed on a display screen, so that the function of OSD display page turning is realized, the display contents can be enriched, and monitoring information, box parameter information, video source information, running time and the like can be displayed.
Next, the soft core processing unit 111 then determines whether the OSD display switch is turned on. When the OSD display switch is turned on, the soft core processing unit 111 parses the OSD display instruction to determine the OSD content to be displayed and the target display parameters thereof. Specifically, when the OSD display instruction is sent by the upper computer and includes the OSD content and the display parameters of the OSD content, the soft core processing unit 111 analyzes the OSD display instruction to directly obtain the OSD content and the OSD content, uses the OSD content as the OSD content to be displayed, and uses the display parameters of the OSD content as the target display parameters of the OSD content to be displayed. When the OSD display instruction is sent by the upper computer and only includes the OSD content identifier, the soft core processing unit 111 parses the OSD display instruction to obtain the OSD content identifier, then locally obtains the preset OSD content and the preset display parameter corresponding to the OSD content identifier according to the OSD content identifier, finally takes the preset OSD content as the OSD content to be displayed, and takes the preset display parameter of the OSD content as the target display parameter of the OSD content to be displayed. Here, the OSD content identifier, the OSD content, and the display parameter mapping relationship in the form of a table, a list, a linked list, an array, or the like are stored locally on the display control card 100, for example, in the nonvolatile memory. And finding the corresponding preset OSD content and the preset display parameter in the mapping relation of the OSD content identification, the OSD content and the display parameter according to the OSD content identification.
When the OSD display instruction is triggered by the operation of the user on the control component 140, for example, the number of times of pressing the key is determined, the soft core processing unit 111 determines the OSD content identifier of the OSD display instruction according to the number of times of pressing the key, then locally obtains the preset OSD content and the preset display parameter corresponding to the OSD content identifier according to the OSD content identifier, finally, takes the preset OSD content as the OSD content to be displayed, and takes the preset display parameter of the OSD content as the target display parameter of the OSD content to be displayed.
Then, since the processing speed of the soft core processing unit 111 is lower than the data processing speed of the programmable logic device 110, the soft core processing unit 111 writes the analyzed OSD content to be displayed and the target display parameter into the data buffer unit 112. When all the required data are stored, the soft core processing unit 111 sends a data storage complete signal. After the OSD data processing unit 113 of the programmable logic device 110 obtains the data storage completion signal, the OSD data processing unit 113 reads the OSD content to be displayed and the target display parameter from the data cache unit. Of course, when the processing speed of the soft core processing unit 111 is not lower than the data processing speed of the programmable logic device 110, the OSD content to be displayed and the target display parameter do not need to be written into the data buffer unit 112, but are directly transmitted to the OSD data processing unit 113.
Then, the OSD data processing unit 113 processes the OSD content to be displayed according to the target display parameter to obtain an OSD picture. Specifically, the target display parameters include, for example, a display range, a background color, and a display color of the OSD content to be displayed. The OSD data processing unit 113 generates an OSD background picture according to the display range and the background color, and then maps the OSD content to be displayed onto the OSD background according to the display color to obtain the OSD picture. The display range here can be, for example, the size (or width × height) of the OSD content to be displayed. The background color is a color of a background of the OSD picture, and the display color may be, for example, a color of the OSD content to be displayed, such as "run time: 1 hour "a string of characters, the displayed color then indicates the color displayed by the string of characters. The colors here are represented in RGB format, for example, and are not described here again. Therefore, the OSD content to be displayed is mapped into the OSD picture according to the target display parameter, so that the OSD picture can have various display effects and display contents, the display effect is improved, the display contents are enriched, and the user experience is also improved.
Further, the target display parameter further includes a target transparency coefficient of the OSD picture. The OSD data processing unit 113 adjusts the transparency of the OSD picture according to the target transparency coefficient. The value range of the target transparency coefficient may be, for example, [0,1], where 0 indicates that the OSD image is opaque, and where 1 indicates that the OSD image is fully transparent.
Then, the image superimposing unit 114 obtains the image to be output, which is input through the image data input circuit 120, and adds the OSD picture to the image to be output to obtain a target output picture. Specifically, when the OSD picture is not set with the transparency coefficient, then the OSD picture is opaque by default, and therefore, the OSD picture is superimposed on the image to be output, covering the portion of the image to be output therebelow, making it invisible. When the OSD picture is provided with a transparency coefficient, for example, if the target transparency coefficient is a, the transparency coefficient of a pixel point on the image to be output at the position corresponding to the target transparency coefficient is: 1-A. And then, superposing the OSD picture on the image to be output to obtain a target output picture.
Finally, the data conversion unit 115 converts the target output image into display data and a control signal and outputs the display data and the control signal to the LED display screen for display. The method can be realized by a common conversion method in the prior art, and is not described in detail.
In summary, in the embodiments of the present invention, the OSD picture is obtained by processing the target display parameter and the OSD content to be displayed, and the target output picture is obtained by superimposing the target display parameter and the OSD content to be displayed, and is output, that is, by adding an image processing process and logic to the OSD content to be displayed, display of various OSD contents such as characters, icons, pictures, and even special graphics can be realized, different background colors, character colors, transparency coefficients, and the like can be set by the target display parameter, and can be synchronously superimposed on the image or video source to be output for display, various OSD interfaces can be displayed without affecting display, diversity and flexibility of the display content and display effect of the OSD picture are improved, and user experience is also improved. In addition, different OSD display instructions are generated for different control modes of the control component, OSD display can be realized under the condition that the display controller 300 is not required to be connected, namely the OSD display can be separated from the upper computer and the display controller for use, and the application scene of the OSD display is expanded; meanwhile, different OSD contents can be displayed on the display screen by triggering the keys for different times, so that the function of OSD display page turning is realized, and the display contents can be enriched.
