Technical Field
The present application relates to the field of blockchain technology, and in particular, to a method, a system, an apparatus, a computer device, and a computer-readable storage medium for cross-border payment based on blockchain.
Background
The conventional cross-border payment system can be realized in three stages in the process, namely a payment initiating stage, a fund transfer stage and a fund delivery stage.
In the payment initiating stage, after receiving the transfer request from the sender to a receiver in another country, the bank of the receiver first makes KYC (customer check), then collects the money and service fee, and starts to process the remittance service after confirming the error.
In the fund transfer stage, the payer bank or remittance company of SWIFT (Society for world Wide Internet Financial Telecommunications) member can directly send money through SWIFT network; if the payer bank or remittance company is not a member of SWIFT, the remittance needs to be made through the local agent bank.
In the money delivery stage, the receiver receives the notice and withdraws money, and the receiver bank or the remittance company checks the identity thereof and then pays the corresponding money to the receiver in the local currency.
Based on the existing cross-border payment system, although cross-border payment can be realized, the following technical problems need to be solved:
firstly, the information of a sender and a receiver is manually collected, so that the efficiency is low;
secondly, the bank or remittance company has limited control force on the identity information and the related documents of the client, so the reliability of the identity verification link is questioned;
then, the fund flow and the information flow pass through a plurality of mechanisms, so that the cost is high, the time consumption is long, and the error rate is high;
finally, payment settlement is carried out through the SWIFT mechanism, which takes long time and has high commission cost.
