In the bottom view of the tool, the upper positioning surface 11 is inclined relative to the lower positioning surface 12 by an angle a, which decreases in the direction of the cutting head and which opens in the direction of the clamping portion 1 b.
In the grooving tool according to the above embodiment of the present invention, in a free state where the cutting insert 2 is not mounted on the tool body 1, a height difference H1 exists between the front end 11a of the upper positioning surface close to the tool bit 1a and the rear end 11b of the upper positioning surface close to the clamping portion 1b in the bottom view direction; in the present exemplary embodiment, when W1 — H1 is provided, the minimum gap of the second slot 15 changes to — H1 when the cutting insert 2 is fully pressed, and W2 — W1-H1 is 0, i.e.: the minimum clearance of the second slot 15 in the direction towards the cutting head 1a when the cutting insert 2 is fully compressed is 0; when W2 is 0, the second elastic portion 10BB is displaced and deformed until contacting the second fixed portion 10BA, and thus stops moving, so that by setting the H1, the displacement and deformation of the second elastic portion 10BB when pressing the cutting insert 2 can be controlled, and the pressing force applied to the cutting insert 2 can be controlled within a suitable range, thereby avoiding the situation that the portion of the upper positioning surface 11 of the pocket 10 facing the tool bit 1a and the insert top surface 23 are separated by the angle b, and the insert end surface 22 and the axial positioning surface 13 are separated by the gap X due to the excessive pressing force under the prior art conditions shown in fig. 10 and 11.
During press mounting of the cutting insert 2, the mounting of the cutting insert 2 can be reflected by a change in the second slot 15, namely: the second slot 15 is reduced and the cutting insert 2 is pressed; the second slot 15 becomes larger and the cutting insert 2 loosens; and the change of the second slit 15 can be observed outside the cutter body 1, so that an operator can judge the fitting condition of the upper positioning surface 11 and the top surface 23 of the cutting insert outside the cutter body 1, and the cutting insert 2 is more convenient and accurate to clamp.
As shown in fig. 8 and 9, in the present embodiment, the cutting insert 2 is provided with an insert top surface 23 and an insert bottom surface 21, the insert top surface 23 and the insert bottom surface 21 being parallel to each other, as viewed from the bottom view of the tool.
In the grooving tool according to the above embodiment of the present invention, the top surface and the bottom surface of the cutting insert 2 are parallel to each other, and the cutting insert 2 is a double-ended insert.

In the bottom view of the tool, in the direction from the tool bit 1a to the clamping portion 1B, the first slit 14 is deeper than the second slit 15, the compression screw hole 16 penetrates through two sides of the first slit 14, a compression surface 17 is arranged at an opening at one end of the compression screw hole 16, and the compression surface 17 is used for matching with the compression screw 3 to drive the first elastic portion 10B to move.
