Detailed Description
Hereinafter, a mode for carrying out the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
The mobile terminal test system according to the present invention performs a test for evaluating the performance of a mobile terminal by simulating a base station using the mobile terminal such as a mobile phone or a mobile terminal as a test target, for example, inputs a test signal based on a fixed pattern (for example, Al l "0" and Al "1") predetermined according to a script as one of the performance evaluations of the mobile terminal, and performs a large-capacity throughput test according to the presence or absence of the response.
As shown in fig. 1, the portable terminal testing system 1 of the present embodiment is configured roughly by including a 1 st portable terminal testing device 2, a 2 nd portable terminal testing device 3, and a control PC4, in order to perform a test for evaluating the performance of a test object (portable terminal) W.
[ Structure of the 1 st Mobile terminal test apparatus ]
The 1 st mobile terminal testing device 2 is a device that outputs data of a 1 st test signal to the test object W among data of test signals composed of a 1 st test signal and a 2 nd test signal, and as shown in fig. 1, includes a data generation unit 21, a data encryption unit 22, a data compression unit 23, a parameter addition unit 24, and a data output unit 25. As shown in fig. 1, the 1 st mobile terminal testing apparatus 2 includes a 1 st port 2a connected to a 2 nd port 3a, which will be described later, of the 2 nd mobile terminal testing apparatus 3 via a cable 5 (e.g., a cable of type 6 (data transmission rate: 1Gbps) of ethernet (registered trademark)), and an output port 2b connected to an input port W1 of the object W to be tested via the cable 6.
For example, in order to perform a throughput test of the test object W, the data generating unit 21 generates data of the test signal (for example, raw data including a fixed pattern of All "0" and All "1") shared by the 1 st mobile terminal testing device 2 and the 2 nd mobile terminal testing device 3 as data of the test signal to be output to the test object W in accordance with a command from the control PC 4. For example, when the test signal output to the test object W is 1.5Gbps data including A, B, C, D, E, 1.5Gbps data including A, B, C, D, E is generated as the test signal data.
When the encryption of the data is set in accordance with the communication standard, the data encryption unit 22 encrypts the data of the test signal generated by the data generation unit 21. For example, when the data generating unit 21 generates data of a test signal at 1.5Gbps including the data A, B, C, D, E, the data of the test signal at 1.5Gbps including the data A, B, C, D, E is encrypted.
The data compression unit 23 compresses the data of the test signal encrypted by the data encryption unit 22 at a compression rate set in advance according to the amount of data to reduce the data. For example, the data of the test signal at 1.5Gbps composed of the data A, B, C, D, E encrypted by the data encryption unit 22 is compressed to, for example, 0.1Gbps (corresponding to the capacity of the incompressible area).
The parameter adding unit 24 adds a recovery parameter (for example, data length, presence/absence of compression, compression rate, etc.) for recovering data to the header of the compressed data compressed by the data compression unit 23. For example, when data of a test signal of 1.5Gbps composed of A, B, C, D, E is compressed to data of a test signal of 0.1Gbps by the data compression unit 23, a parameter for recovery is added to the header to recover the remaining data of the test signal of 1.4Gbps (data before encryption) other than the compressed data of the test signal of 0.1Gbps, and the compressed data of 0.1Gbps is output.
The data output unit 25 monitors data (for example, 1.5Gbps data A, B, C, D, E) sharing the same test signal with a data output unit 34 (described later) of the second mobile terminal testing apparatus 3 by the control of the control PC 4. The data output section 25 outputs only data selected by the control PC4 as data of the 1 st trial signal among data of the trial signal encrypted by the data encryption section 22 from the output port 2b in the order and output timing specified by the control PC 4. For example, among the encrypted data of the trial signal composed of the data A, B, C, D, E, only the data (for example, the data A, B) of the 1 st trial signal selected by the control PC4 is output from the output port 2b in the order and output timing specified by the control PC 4.
[ Structure of the 2 nd Mobile terminal test apparatus ]
The 2 nd mobile terminal testing device 3 is a device that outputs data of the 2 nd test signal to the test object W among data of test signals composed of the 1 st test signal and the 2 nd test signal, and as shown in fig. 1, includes a data acquisition unit 31, a data recovery unit 32, a data encryption unit 33, and a data output unit 34. As shown in fig. 1, the 2 nd mobile terminal testing apparatus 3 includes a 2 nd port 3a connected to the 1 st port 2a of the 1 st mobile terminal testing apparatus 2 via a cable 5 (e.g., a type 6 cable (data transmission rate: 1Gbps) of ethernet (registered trademark)), and an output port 3b connected to the input port W2 of the object W to be tested via a cable 7.
The data acquisition unit 31 acquires the compressed data to which the recovery parameter is added from the 1 st port 2a of the 1 st mobile terminal testing device 2 via the cable 5 and the 2 nd port 3a, and performs processing for removing the recovery parameter from the acquired compressed data. For example, when a parameter for recovery is added to the header of 0.1Gbps of compressed data from the parameter adding unit 24 of the 1 st mobile terminal testing apparatus 2, the 1 st port 2a of the 1 st mobile terminal testing apparatus 2 acquires the 0.1Gbps of compressed data to which the recovery parameter is added to the header from the 2 nd port 3a via the cable 5, and the parameter for recovery is removed from the acquired compressed data.
The data recovery unit 32 recovers the data of the test signal before encryption based on the recovery parameter removed from the compressed data acquired by the data acquisition unit 31. For example, when the data acquisition unit 31 acquires 0.1Gbps of compressed data to which a parameter for recovery is added for recovering data of a test signal of 1.4Gbps before encryption, the 0.1Gbps of compressed data is left as it is, and the data of the test signal of 1.4Gbps before encryption is recovered from the parameter for recovery removed from the header of the compressed data.
When the encryption of the data is set in accordance with the communication standard, the data encryption unit 33 encrypts the data (the encrypted compressed data and the data restored before encryption) of the test signal restored by the data restoration unit 32. For example, encrypted compressed data at 0.1Gbps and data of a test signal at 1.4Gbps before encryption are encrypted. This obtains the same data of the test signal at 1.5Gbps composed of the data A, B, C, D, E and the same data of the test signal at 1.5Gbps composed of the data A, B, C, D, E encrypted by the data encryption unit 22 of the first mobile terminal test apparatus 2.
The data output unit 34 monitors data sharing the same test signal (for example, data A, B, C, D, E of 1.5 Gbps) with the data output unit 25 of the 1 st mobile terminal testing apparatus 2 by the control of the control PC 4. The data output unit 34 outputs only the data selected by the control PC4 as the data of the 2 nd trial signal among the data of the trial signal encrypted by the data encryption unit 33 from the output port 3b in the order and output timing specified by the control PC 4. For example, among the encrypted data of the test signal constituted by the data A, B, C, D, E, after the data of the 1 st test signal (for example, the data A, B) is output from the output port 2b of the 1 st mobile terminal testing device 2, only the data of the 2 nd test signal (for example, the data C, D, E) selected by the control PC4 is output from the output port 3b in the order and the output timing specified by the control PC 4.
[ Structure of control PC ]
The control PC4 collectively controls the respective units of the 1 st mobile terminal testing device 2 and the 2 nd mobile terminal testing device 3, and sets the operation parameters, data rates, parameters necessary for encryption, and the like of the respective units of the 1 st mobile terminal testing device 2 and the 2 nd mobile terminal testing device 3.
The control PC4 controls the selection, sequence, and output timing of data of the test signals output from the 1 st mobile terminal testing device 2 and the 2 nd mobile terminal testing device 3.
For example, when data of test signals are output to the test object W in the order of A → B → D → C → E, after selecting data A, B as the data of the 1 st test signal from the data A, B, C, D, E of the test signal encrypted by the data encryption unit 22 of the 1 st mobile terminal testing device 2 and outputting the data in the order of a → B and at a predetermined output timing, the selection and order of data and the output timing of the data output unit 25 of the 1 st mobile terminal testing device 2 and the data output unit 34 of the 2 nd mobile terminal testing device 3 are controlled so that the data C, D, E is selected as the data of the 2 nd test signal from among the data A, B, C, D, E of the test signal encrypted by the data encryption unit 33 of the 2 nd mobile terminal testing device 3 and is output in the order of D → C → E at a predetermined output timing.
[ action of Mobile terminal test System ]
Next, the operation of the mobile terminal testing system 1 configured as described above when performing a test on the test object W will be described with reference to fig. 2 and 3. Here, a case will be described as an example where data of a test signal of 1.5Gbps constituted by A, B, C, D, E is generated and output to the test object W in the order of a → B → D → C → E.
When data of the test signal is output to the test object W, the 1 st port 2a of the 1 st portable terminal testing device 2 and the 2 nd port 3a of the 2 nd portable terminal testing device 3 are connected via the cable 5.
The output port 2b of the 1 st portable terminal testing device 2 and the input port W1 of the object W are connected via the cable 6, and the output port 3b of the 2 nd portable terminal testing device 3 and the input port W2 of the object W are connected via the cable 7.
[ operation of the first Mobile terminal test device ]
When a command for transmitting a test signal is issued from the control PC4, the data generating unit 21 of the 1 ST mobile terminal testing device 2 generates data of a test signal at 1.5Gbps composed of A, B, C, D, E (ST1) as data (raw data) of the test signal shared by the 1 ST mobile terminal testing device 2 and the 2 nd mobile terminal testing device 3 for testing the object W to be tested.
Next, the data encryption unit 22 of the 1 ST mobile terminal testing apparatus 2 encrypts the data of the test signal of 1.5Gbps composed of A, B, C, D, E generated by the data generation unit 21 (ST 2).
Next, the data compression unit 23 of the 1 ST mobile terminal testing apparatus 2 compresses the data of the test signal of 1.5Gbps composed of A, B, C, D, E encrypted by the data encryption unit 22 to the data of the test signal of 0.1Gbps (ST 3).
Then, the parameter adding unit 24 of the 1 ST mobile terminal testing apparatus 2 adds a parameter for recovery for recovering the original data at 1.4Gbps to the header of the compressed data at 0.1Gbps compressed by the data compression unit 23 (ST 4).
The compressed data to which the parameter for recovery is added by the parameter adding unit 24 is input from the 1 st port 2a to the 2 nd port 3a of the 2 nd mobile terminal testing device 3 via the cable 5.
The data output unit 25 of the 1 ST mobile terminal testing apparatus 2 outputs only the data A, B instructed by the control PC4 as the data of the 1 ST test signal in the determined order (a → B) and output timing from the output port 2B to the input port W1 of the object W to be tested, among the data of the test signal composed of A, B, C, D, E generated by the data generation unit 21 and encrypted by the data encryption unit 22 (ST 5).
[ operation of the 2 nd Mobile terminal test apparatus ]
On the other hand, the data acquiring unit 31 of the 2 nd mobile terminal testing apparatus 3 acquires the 0.1Gbps compressed data with the recovery parameter added thereto from the parameter adding unit 24, which is input from the 1 ST port 2a of the 1 ST mobile terminal testing apparatus 2 to the 2 nd port 3a via the cable 5, and removes the recovery parameter from the 0.1Gbps compressed data with the recovery parameter added thereto (ST 11).
Next, the data recovery unit 32 of the 2 nd mobile terminal testing apparatus 3 recovers the data of the test signal at 1.4Gbps before encryption based on the recovery parameter acquired by the data acquisition unit 31 (ST 12).
Next, the data encryption unit 33 of the 2 nd mobile terminal testing apparatus 3 encrypts the compressed data at 0.1Gbps and the data of the test signal at 1.4Gbps restored by the data restoration unit 32 to obtain the data of the test signal at 1.5Gbps composed of A, B, C, D, E, which is the same as the data of the test signal at 1.5Gbps composed of A, B, C, D, E encrypted by the data encryption unit 22 of the 1 ST mobile terminal testing apparatus 2(ST 13).
Then, the data output unit 34 of the 2 nd mobile terminal testing apparatus 3 outputs the data of the 1 ST test signal from the output port 2B of the data output unit 25 of the 1 ST mobile terminal testing apparatus 2 to the input port W1 of the test object W in the order of a → B and at the output timing, and then outputs only the data C, D, E commanded by the control PC4 among the data of the test signal composed of A, B, C, D, E encrypted by the data encryption unit 33 to the input port W2 of the test object W from the output port 3B in the determined order (D → C → E) and at the output timing (ST 14).
When the data of the test signal (the 1 st test signal and the 2 nd test signal) is output to the test object W, the portable terminal test system 1 determines whether or not the data received from the test object W along with the output of the data of the test signal can be accurately recovered.
[ Structure between each mobile terminal testing device and object to be tested ]
However, in the above embodiment, the case where the test object W has two input ports W1 and W2, the input port W1 is connected to the output port 2b of the 1 st portable terminal testing device 2 via the cable 6, the input port W2 is connected to the output port 3b of the 2 nd portable terminal testing device 3 via the cable 7, and the data of the test signal of the 1 st portable terminal testing device 2 and the data of the test signal of the 2 nd portable terminal testing device 3 are transmitted to the test object W by wire has been described as an example, but the present invention is not limited to this configuration. That is, the data of the 1 st test signal of the 1 st mobile terminal testing device 2 and the data of the 2 nd test signal of the 2 nd mobile terminal testing device 3 can be transmitted from the data output units 25 and 34 to the test object W by wire or wirelessly.
As an example of wired transmission of the test signal, for example, when the test object W has only one input port W1, a coupler not shown is provided between the data output unit 25 and the output port 2b of the 1 st mobile terminal testing device 2, and the coupler and the input port W1 of the test object W are connected via the cable 6. Then, the data of the 1 st test signal output from the output port 2b of the 1 st mobile terminal testing device 2 and the data of the 2 nd test signal output from the output port 3b of the 2 nd mobile terminal testing device 3 are coupled by a coupler and then transmitted to the test object W via the cable 6 by wire.
As an example of transmitting the data of the test signal wirelessly, when the test object W has a transmission/reception function, the data of the 1 st test signal output from the output port 2b of the 1 st mobile terminal testing device 2 and the data of the 2 nd test signal output from the output port 3b of the 2 nd mobile terminal testing device 3 are coupled by a coupler, not shown, and then transmitted wirelessly from an antenna, not shown, to the test object W.
When the encryption of data is not specified according to the standard, the data encryption unit 22 of the 1 st mobile terminal testing device 2 and the data encryption unit 33 of the 2 nd mobile terminal testing device 3 in fig. 1 may be omitted.
As described above, according to the present embodiment, since the data transmission amount of the cable whose communication capacity is physically limited can be reduced, a plurality of mobile terminal test apparatuses can be connected without hindrance, and a high-capacity throughput test can be realized.
The best mode of the mobile terminal test system according to the present invention has been described above, but the present invention is not limited to the description and drawings based on this mode. That is, it is obvious that other embodiments, examples, operation techniques, and the like, which are implemented by those skilled in the art, are included in the scope of the present invention.
