For the method 1, large-area underwater concrete pouring is needed, the thickness of the back cover is generally required to be at least 1m, and the cost is high; meanwhile, when pouring, the plugging plate topples or gaps are not tightly plugged, slurry leakage and the like are easy to occur, and plugging failure is caused. For scheme 2, the situations of air bag displacement or abrasion and the like are very easy to happen in the process of lowering the hanging box, air leakage and slurry leakage are caused during plugging, and therefore effective plugging cannot be formed. There is therefore a need for a method or apparatus that addresses the above-mentioned problems.

The plugging device has the advantages that the working efficiency can be improved and the overall labor capacity of workers can be reduced on the premise of ensuring the plugging effect, the manufacturing process is simple, and the manufacturing cost is low, so that the plugging device has various advantages, is particularly suitable for popularization and application in the field, and has a very wide market prospect.

When the water construction is carried out (as shown in fig. 3), firstly, the plugging device is sleeved on a steel protective cylinder, then a steel wire rope 7 is connected on a lifting ring 5 on the top end face of the steel protective cylinder, the top end of the steel wire rope 7 is connected on a steel corbel 9 on the top of the steel protective cylinder through a chain block 8, then a steel hanging box is placed to a designed elevation, a gap exists between a bottom plate 6 of the steel hanging box and the steel protective cylinder, the plugging device is positioned below the steel hanging box, the inner diameter of an inner hole of the bottom plate 6 is made into a shape matched with the section of the rubber ring 2 in advance, and then the device is lifted by the chain block 8 to enable the rubber ring 2 to be squeezed into the gap between the bottom plate 6 and the steel protective cylinder; along with pumping water in the cofferdam, the water body above the bottom plate 6 is gradually reduced until emptying, at the moment, the annular steel plate 1 bears upward water pressure in the direction, and the rubber ring 2 is pressed in a gap, so that the aim of rapid and reliable plugging is fulfilled.
