When a first input by a user to a target area on a desktop interface is received, a first application icon can be displayed in a first extended display area associated with the target area. The first application icon at least comprises a first target application icon. When a second input to the first target application icon by the user is received, the first target application icon is displayed in the first area of the desktop interface. Therefore, the user can restore the application program corresponding to the first application icon deleted by the user to the first area on the desktop interface, the user does not need to download and install the application program after searching the application program in other application programs, the application program can be downloaded and installed again only by restoring the application icon of the application program through one key, the operation is simple, convenient and quick, and the user experience degree is improved.
In the embodiment of the present application, a method for displaying an application icon performed by an electronic device is taken as an example, and the method for displaying an application icon provided in the embodiment of the present application is described. However, in the application icon display method provided in the embodiment of the present application, the execution subject may be an electronic device, or may be a display device of an application icon or a control module for executing the application icon display method in the display device of the application icon.
Based on the application icon display method provided by the application, correspondingly, the application icon display device of one embodiment is provided by the application. In the following, a method for displaying an application icon by using a display device of an application icon is taken as an example in the embodiments of the present application, and the display device of an application icon provided in the embodiments of the present application is described.
Fig. 10 is a schematic structural diagram of a display device 1000 for application icons according to the present application.
As shown in fig. 10, the display device 1000 of application icons provided by the present application may include: a receiving module 1001 and a display module 1002.
A receiving module 1001, configured to receive a first input of a target area on a desktop interface by a user, where the size of the target area is the size of at least one application icon;
a display module 1002, configured to, in response to a first input, display N first application icons in a first extended display area associated with a target area, where the first application icons are deleted application icons that are historically displayed on the target area, and N is a positive integer;
a receiving module 1001, configured to receive a second input of the first target application icon from the user; the first application icon comprises at least a first target application icon;
a display module 1002 is configured to display a first target application icon in a first area of the desktop interface in response to a second input.
Optionally, in some embodiments of the present application, in a case that N is greater than or equal to 2, the display module 1002 is specifically configured to: and sequentially displaying the N first application icons in the first extended display area associated with the target area according to the sequence of the deletion time of the N first application icons from back to front.
Therefore, the user can determine the sequence of the deleting time of each icon in the first extended display area according to the sequence of the APP icons, the efficiency of searching the icon corresponding to the target application program by the user can be improved, and the user experience is further improved.
Optionally, in some embodiments of the present application, the first extended display area and the desktop interface are disposed in different layers.
Therefore, the extended display area is arranged on different layers, and a user can click the extended display area with a part of the area being blocked, so that the blocked part of the area is displayed, the user can check all icons in the extended display area, and the use experience of the user is improved.
Optionally, in some embodiments of the present application, the apparatus 1000 further comprises: a determining module 1003, configured to determine a target area type to which the target area belongs; the target area type is one of area types, and the area type is determined according to the operation frequency of a user on different areas of the desktop interface;
the display module 1002 is specifically configured to display the N first application icons according to a target display mode associated with the target area type.
Therefore, the user can distinguish the heat of the area according to the background color, so that the icon of the target application program which the user wants to search can be quickly searched, the efficiency of searching the target application program by the user is improved, and the experience degree of the user is further improved.
Optionally, in some embodiments of the present application, a second application icon is further included in the first extended display area; the second application icon is an icon of an application program which is not deleted;
the first application icons are sequentially displayed in the first expansion display area from the last to the first according to the deleting time, and the second application icon is positioned in front of the first application icon deleted at the last.
Therefore, the layout of the desktop interface can be optimized, the application icons displayed in multiple screens can be displayed in a single screen, and the experience of a user is improved.
Optionally, in some embodiments of the present application, the apparatus 1000 further includes a moving module 1004, configured to move the data of the application program corresponding to the first application icon to the server when the duration of the deleted first application icon is greater than a preset duration.
Therefore, even if the first application icon is deleted by misoperation of the user and the APP corresponding to the first application icon is not recovered by the user for a long time, data when the user uses the APP cannot be lost. Meanwhile, the data of the APP are moved to the server to be stored, so that the storage space of the electronic equipment is saved.
Optionally, in some embodiments of the present application, the display module 1002 is further configured to display a prompt message in response to the second input, where the prompt message is used to prompt a user whether to download the data of the first target application;
the receiving module 1001 is further configured to receive a fourth input that the user confirms to download the data of the first target application;
a downloading module 1005, configured to download the data of the first target application from the server in response to the fourth input.
Therefore, the user data of part of the application programs are stored in the server, the storage space of the electronic equipment can be saved, the user data of the application programs can be recovered, and the user experience is improved.
Optionally, in some embodiments of the present application, the target area includes K sub-target areas, and the size of each sub-target area is the size of one application icon; k is an integer greater than or equal to 2;
a display module 1002, specifically configured to display, in response to the first input, a third application icon in the extended display sub-area associated with each sub-target area; the third application icon displayed on each extended display sub-area is a deleted application icon that is historically displayed on the sub-target area corresponding to the extended display sub-area.
Therefore, a user can check the plurality of expansion display sub-areas through one-key input, and the experience degree of the user is improved.
Optionally, in some embodiments of the present application, each extended display sub-region is an independent sub-region, and the receiving module 1001 is further configured to receive a third input of the first application icon in the first extended display sub-region from the user;
the moving module 1004 is further configured to move the first application icon into the second expanded display sub-area in response to a third input.
Therefore, the user can arrange the application icons in each expansion display sub-area, the user can arrange the application icons in the expansion display sub-areas according to own habits, and the experience degree of the user is improved.
Optionally, in some embodiments of the present application, in a case that the fourth application icon is displayed at a first position in the second extended display sub-area, and the position of the first application icon in the first extended display sub-area is a second position, the moving module 1004 is specifically configured to move the first application icon to the first position in the second extended display sub-area, and move the third application icon to the second position in the first extended display sub-area.
Therefore, the user can arrange the application icons in each expansion display sub-area, the user can arrange the application icons in the expansion display sub-areas according to own habits, and the experience degree of the user is improved.
Optionally, in some embodiments of the present application, when the target area is a blank area, the first area is the target area.
Therefore, the electronic equipment can directly restore the first target application icon to the target area without the operation of a user, and the use experience of the user is improved.
Optionally, in some embodiments of the present application, when the target area is a non-blank area, the first area is a blank area on the desktop interface.
Optionally, in some embodiments of the application, in a case that a fifth application icon is displayed on the first area and the first target application icon is displayed at the third display position of the first extended display area, the display module 1002 is further configured to display the first target application icon in the first area of the desktop interface and display the fifth application icon at the third display position in response to the second input.
Therefore, the user can optimize the desktop layout according to the self needs, and the experience degree of the user is improved.
According to the display device of the application icons, at least one application program is installed on the target area by the user history, so that the first application icon of the at least one application program is displayed on the target area history, and the first application icon is deleted on the target area by the user at present. The desktop interface comprises a target area, wherein the size of the target area is the size of at least one application icon. When a first input by a user to a target area on a desktop interface is received, a first application icon can be displayed in a first extended display area associated with the target area. The display device of the application icon in the embodiment of the present application may be a device, or may be a component, an integrated circuit, or a chip in a terminal. The device can be mobile electronic equipment or non-mobile electronic equipment. By way of example, the mobile electronic device may be a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a notebook computer, a palm top computer, a vehicle-mounted electronic device, a wearable device, an ultra-mobile personal computer (UMPC), a netbook or a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), and the like, and the non-mobile electronic device may be a server, a Network Attached Storage (NAS), a Personal Computer (PC), a Television (TV), a teller machine or a self-service machine, and the like, and the embodiment of the present application is not particularly limited.
The display device of the application icon in the embodiment of the present application may be a device having an operating system. The operating system may be an Android (Android) operating system, an ios operating system, or other possible operating systems, and embodiments of the present application are not limited specifically.
The display device of the application icon provided in the embodiment of the present application can implement each process implemented by the display device of the application icon in the embodiment of fig. 1, and is not described here again to avoid repetition.

The electronic device 1200 includes, but is not limited to: radio frequency unit 1201, network module 1202, audio output unit 1203, input unit 1204, sensors 1205, display unit 1206, user input unit 1207, interface unit 1208, memory 1209, and processor 1210.
Those skilled in the art will appreciate that the electronic device 1200 may further comprise a power source (e.g., a battery) for supplying power to the various components, and the power source may be logically connected to the processor 1210 via a power management system, so as to implement functions of managing charging, discharging, and power consumption via the power management system. The electronic device structure shown in fig. 12 does not constitute a limitation of the electronic device, and the electronic device may include more or less components than those shown, or combine some components, or arrange different components, and thus, the description is not repeated here.
The user input unit 1207 is configured to receive a first input of a target area on the desktop interface from a user;
a display unit 1206, configured to display, in response to a first input, N first application icons in a first extended display area associated with a target area, where the first application icons are deleted application icons that are historically displayed on the target area, and N is a positive integer;
a user input unit 1207, configured to receive a second input by the user to a first target application icon in the first application icons;
the display unit 1206 is used for responding to the second input and displaying the first target application icon in the first area of the desktop interface.
In the embodiment of the application, at least one application program is installed on the target area by the user history, so that the first application icon of the at least one application program is displayed on the target area history, and the first application icon is deleted on the target area by the user at present. The desktop interface comprises a target area, wherein the size of the target area is the size of at least one application icon. When a first input by a user to a target area on a desktop interface is received, a first application icon can be displayed in a first extended display area associated with the target area. The first application icon at least comprises a first target application icon. Therefore, the user can distinguish the heat of the area according to the background color, so that the icon of the target application program which the user wants to search can be quickly searched, the efficiency of searching the target application program by the user is improved, and the experience degree of the user is further improved.
Optionally, in some embodiments of the present application, a second application icon is further included in the first extended display area; the second application icon is an icon of an application program which is not deleted;
the first application icons are sequentially displayed in the first expansion display area from the last to the first according to the deleting time, and the second application icon is positioned in front of the first application icon deleted at the last.
Therefore, the layout of the desktop interface can be optimized, the application icons displayed in multiple screens can be displayed in a single screen, and the experience of a user is improved.
Optionally, in some embodiments of the present application, the processor 1210 is configured to, when a duration after the first application icon is deleted is greater than a preset duration, move data of an application program corresponding to the first application icon to the server.
Therefore, even if the first application icon is deleted by misoperation of the user and the APP corresponding to the first application icon is not recovered by the user for a long time, data when the user uses the APP cannot be lost. Meanwhile, the data of the APP are moved to the server to be stored, so that the storage space of the electronic equipment is saved.
Optionally, in some embodiments of the present application, the display unit 1206 is further configured to display a prompt message in response to the second input, where the prompt message is used to prompt a user whether to download the data of the first target application;
a user input unit 1207, further configured to receive a fourth input that the user confirms to download the data of the first target application;
a processor 1210 for downloading data of the first target application from the server in response to the fourth input.
Therefore, the user data of part of the application programs are stored in the server, the storage space of the electronic equipment can be saved, the user data of the application programs can be recovered, and the user experience is improved.
Optionally, in some embodiments of the present application, the target area includes K sub-target areas, and the size of each sub-target area is the size of one application icon; k is an integer greater than or equal to 2;
a display unit 1206, in particular for displaying, in response to the first input, a third application icon in the extended display sub-area associated with each sub-target area; the third application icon displayed on each extended display sub-area is a deleted application icon that is historically displayed on the sub-target area corresponding to the extended display sub-area.
Therefore, a user can check the plurality of expansion display sub-areas through one-key input, and the experience degree of the user is improved.
Optionally, in some embodiments of the present application, each extended display sub-area is an independent sub-area, and the user input unit 1207 is further configured to receive a third input of the first application icon in the first extended display sub-area from the user;

Therefore, the user can optimize the desktop layout according to the self needs, and the experience degree of the user is improved.
The embodiment of the present application further provides a readable storage medium, where a program or an instruction is stored on the readable storage medium, and when the program or the instruction is executed by a processor, the program or the instruction implements each process of the embodiment of the display method for an application icon, and can achieve the same technical effect, and in order to avoid repetition, details are not repeated here.
The processor is the processor in the electronic device described in the above embodiment. The readable storage medium includes a computer readable storage medium, such as a Read-Only Memory (ROM), a Random Access Memory (RAM), a magnetic disk or an optical disk, and so on.
The embodiment of the present application further provides a chip, where the chip includes a processor and a communication interface, the communication interface is coupled to the processor, and the processor is configured to run a program or an instruction to implement each process of the embodiment of the display method for an application icon, and can achieve the same technical effect, and in order to avoid repetition, the description is omitted here.

Claims (10)

1. A method for displaying an application icon, comprising:
receiving a first input of a target area on a desktop interface by a user;
in response to the first input, displaying N first application icons in a first expansion display area associated with the target area, wherein the first application icons are deleted application icons which are displayed on the target area in a historical mode, and N is a positive integer;
receiving a second input of the user to a first target application icon in the N first application icons;
in response to the second input, displaying the first target application icon in a first area of the desktop interface.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein after said receiving a first user input to a target area on a desktop interface, prior to said displaying N first application icons in a first extended display area associated with the target area in response to the first input, the method further comprises:
determining a target area type to which the target area belongs; the target area type is one of area types, and the area type is determined according to the operation frequency of a user on different areas of the desktop interface;
the displaying, in response to the first input, N first application icons in a first extended display area associated with the target area specifically includes:
and displaying the N first application icons according to a target display mode associated with the target area type.
3. The method of claim 1, wherein in a case where data of a target first application corresponding to the first target application icon is stored to a server, the method further comprises, after the responding to the second input:
responding to the second input, and displaying prompt information, wherein the prompt information is used for prompting a user whether to download data of the first target application program;
receiving a fourth input confirming downloading of the data of the first target application program by the user;
downloading data of the first target application from the server in response to the fourth input.
4. The method of claim 1, wherein the target area comprises K sub-target areas, each sub-target area being of a size of one application icon; k is an integer greater than or equal to 2;
the displaying, in response to the first input, N first application icons in a first extended display area associated with the target area specifically includes:
displaying a third application icon in the extended display sub-area associated with each of the sub-target areas in response to the first input; the third application icon displayed on each expansion display sub-area is a deleted application icon which is displayed on the sub-target area corresponding to the expansion display sub-area.
5. The method of claim 4, wherein each of the extended display sub-regions is a separate sub-region, and wherein after the displaying of the N first application icons in the first extended display region associated with the target region in response to the first input, prior to the receiving of the second input by the user to the first target application icon, the method further comprises:
receiving a third input of the first application icon in the first expansion display sub-area from the user;
in response to the third input, moving the first application icon into a second expanded display sub-area;
when the first application icon is displayed at the first position in the second expansion display sub-area, and the position of the first application icon in the first expansion display sub-area is the second position, the moving the first application icon into the second expansion display sub-area in response to the third input specifically includes:
moving the first application icon to a first position in the second extended display sub-area; moving the third application icon to a second position of the first extended display sub-region.
6. A display device for an application icon, comprising:
the receiving module is used for receiving first input of a user to a target area on the desktop interface;
a display module, configured to display, in response to the first input, N first application icons in a first extended display area associated with the target area, where the first application icons are deleted application icons that are historically displayed on the target area;
the receiving module is further configured to receive a second input of the user to a first target application icon in the N first application icons;
the display module is further configured to display the first target application icon in a first area of the desktop interface in response to the second input.
7. The method of claim 6, wherein after said receiving a first user input to a target area on a desktop interface, prior to said displaying N first application icons in a first extended display area associated with the target area in response to the first input, the method further comprises:
determining a target area type to which the target area belongs; the target area type is one of area types, and the area type is determined according to the operation frequency of a user on different areas of the desktop interface;
the displaying, in response to the first input, N first application icons in a first extended display area associated with the target area specifically includes:
and displaying the N first application icons according to a target display mode associated with the target area type.
8. The method of claim 6, wherein in a case where data of a target first application corresponding to the first target application icon is stored to a server, the method further comprises, after the responding to the second input:
responding to the second input, and displaying prompt information, wherein the prompt information is used for prompting a user whether to download data of the first target application program;
receiving a fourth input confirming downloading of the data of the first target application program by the user;
downloading data of the first target application from the server in response to the fourth input.
9. The method of claim 6, wherein the target area comprises K sub-target areas, each sub-target area being of a size of one application icon; k is an integer greater than or equal to 2;
the displaying, in response to the first input, N first application icons in a first extended display area associated with the target area specifically includes:
displaying a third application icon in the extended display sub-area associated with each of the sub-target areas in response to the first input; the third application icon displayed on each expansion display sub-area is a deleted application icon which is displayed on the sub-target area corresponding to the expansion display sub-area.

The method of claim 9, wherein each of the extended display sub-regions is a separate sub-region, and wherein after the displaying of the N first application icons in the first extended display region associated with the target region in response to the first input, prior to the receiving of the second input by the user to the first target application icon, the method further comprises:
receiving a third input of the first application icon in the first expansion display sub-area from the user;
in response to the third input, moving the first application icon into a second expanded display sub-area;
when the first application icon is displayed at the first position in the second expansion display sub-area, and the position of the first application icon in the first expansion display sub-area is the second position, the moving the first application icon into the second expansion display sub-area in response to the third input specifically includes:
moving the first application icon to a first position in the second extended display sub-area; moving the third application icon to a second position of the first extended display sub-region.
