The folding product forms of the flexible display panel are diversified, the final bending forms are different according to different panel designs, the stress in the bending process of different bending forms is different, and at present, three bending forms are available on the market, namely a water drop shape, a wedge shape or an inverted U shape. The first glue layer 103 is disposed between the first protection layer 102 and the display 104. The first adhesive layer 103 is used to increase the adhesion between the protection layer of the bending region 120 and the display 104.
The first protective layer 102 is disposed below the first adhesive layer 103. The first protective layer 102 is made of an organic material; the organic material includes polyimide.
The first protective layer 102 includes: at least two deformation blocks 1021.
The deformation blocks 1021 are uniformly arranged in the first protection layer 102, and when the display panel 100 is bent, the deformation blocks 1021 of the bending area 120 are stretched, which can effectively relieve the stress generated during bending.
The lower surface of the deformation block 1021 is flush with the lower surface of the first protection layer 102; the upper surface of the deformation block 1021 is flush with the upper surface of the first protective layer 102.
The deformation block 1021 has the characteristics of expansion and contraction. The material of the deformation block 1021 comprises rubber.
The second protective layer 101 is disposed on a side of the first protective layer 102 away from the display 104.
The material of the second protective layer 101 is an organic material; the organic material includes polyimide.
After repeated bending, in order to ensure that the first protection layer 102 can be restored to the flat state after being deformed and bent, a second protection layer 101 needs to be added, and the second protection layer 101 can help the deformation block 1021 to be restored during the process of flattening the first protection layer 102.
The polarizer 106 is disposed on the display 104; the adhesion layer 107 is arranged on the polarizer 106; the third passivation layer 108 is disposed on the adhesive layer 107.
In other embodiments, in order to increase the adhesion between the protection layers, an adhesive layer may be disposed on the surface of the deformation block 1021, so as to increase the adhesion between the upper layer and the lower layer, thereby improving the reliability of the panel when bending.
An embodiment of the invention provides a display panel 100, in which at least two deformation blocks 1021 are disposed in a first protection layer 102 of a bending region 120. When the display panel 100 is bent, the deformation block 1021 of the bending region 120 is stretched, which can effectively relieve the stress generated during bending. After repeated bending, in order to ensure that the first protection layer 102 can be restored to the flat state after being deformed and bent, a second protection layer 101 needs to be added, and the second protection layer 101 can help the deformation block 1021 to be restored during the process of flattening the first protection layer 102.
As shown in fig. 3, another embodiment of the present invention provides a display panel 100a, which is different from the above embodiments in that a tensile layer 1022a is filled between adjacent deformation blocks 1021 a.
The tensile layer 1022a has elastic characteristics. Specifically, the stretch layer 1022a has stretch and extensibility properties.
The material of the stretching layer 1022a includes a polyurethane material or a silicone rubber.
In order to ensure the flatness and the easy assembly of the display panel 100a, the thickness of the first protection layer 102a needs to be increased, but the increased thickness makes the display panel unable to be bent, and in order to achieve the reduced thickness of the bending region 120a, the bending region 120a needs to be filled with a stretchable material, which increases the supporting characteristics of the first protection layer 102 a.
As shown in fig. 4, the present invention provides a display device 200, which includes the display panel 100 and the support layer 201.
The support layer 201 is disposed below the display panel 100 and corresponds to the display area 110, and when the bending area 120 is folded, the bending area 120 is in a water-drop shape (as shown in fig. 5).
According to the invention, the segmented support layer 201 is attached to the display panel 100, and the hard support layer 201 is attached to the display panel 100 in the display area 110, so that the display device 200 has toughness during pressing and good flatness in a spread and flat state.
Similarly, a flexible supporting layer 201 that is resistant to bending can be used in the bending region 120 to adhere to the bending region 120 of the display panel 100, so that the stress from the bending region 120 can be reduced, the deformation of the adhesive layer can be reduced, the flexible supporting layer is resistant to bending, and the display device 200 can be kept in a water drop shape or a U shape after being folded.

the at least two deformation blocks are uniformly arranged in the bending area of the first protection layer; the lower surface of the deformation block is flush with the lower surface of the first protection layer, and the upper surface of the deformation block is flush with the upper surface of the first protection layer; when the bending area of the display panel is bent into a water drop shape, the deformation block of the bending area is stretched to relieve the stress generated when the bending area is bent; the material of the deformation block comprises rubber;
the stretching layer is filled between the adjacent deformation blocks in the first protection layer, and the upper surface of the stretching layer is lower than that of the deformation blocks; the material of the stretching layer comprises a polyurethane material or silica gel; and
the second protective layer is arranged on one side, far away from the display, of the first protective layer; the second protective layer is made of an organic material, and the organic material comprises polyimide.
2. The display panel of claim 1, further comprising:
the polaroid is arranged on the display;
the adhesion layer is arranged on the polarizer; and
and the third protective layer is arranged on the adhesion layer.
3. A display device, comprising:
the display panel of claim 1 or 2, the display panel being divided into a display area and a bending area; and
the supporting layer is arranged below the display panel and comprises a hard supporting layer and a bending-resistant soft supporting layer, the hard supporting layer is attached to the display area, and the soft supporting layer is attached to the bending area;
when the bending area is folded, the bending area is in a water drop shape.
