本发明公开了一种基于定时器的处理方法、终端设备、网络设备、芯片、计算机可读存储介质、计算机程序产品以及计算机程序,包括:获取第一定时器;与目标网络设备进行连接时,基于所述源网络设备的第一定时器对终端设备与源网络设备的连接进行监测;其中,所述基于所述源网络设备的第一定时器对源网络设备进行监测时,所述方法还包括以下之一:当达到第一定时器的启动条件时,开启所述源网络设备的第一定时器;当达到第一定时器的停止条件时,停止所述源网络设备的第一定时器;当第一定时器的计时时长结束时,所述源网络设备的第一定时器超时。
