Background
The high-barrier plastic film is formed by simultaneously extruding a material with strong gas barrier property and polyolefin with strong heat seaming property and water barrier property, and is a film with a multilayer structure.
In the field of packaging, EVOH is made into a composite film intermediate barrier layer, and is applied to all hard and soft packages; in the food industry for aseptic packaging, retort and retort pouches, packaging of dairy products, meat, fruit juice cans and condiments; in the non-food sector, for packaging solvents, chemicals, structural parts for air conditioners, liners for gasoline drums, electronic components, etc. In the aspect of food packaging, an EVOH plastic container can completely replace glass and metal containers, and PE/EVOH/PA/RVOH/PE five-layer co-extrusion film vacuum packaging is used for seafood exported by a plurality of domestic aquatic companies. While research on the EVOH composite film is accelerated, research on stretching orientation of EVOH is carried out abroad, and the barrier property of the novel EVOH film to gas is 3 times that of the existing high-performance non-stretching EVOH film.
