Description

Far-end protection safety airbag, vehicle seat and vehicle
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of vehicle safety airbags, in particular to a far-end protection safety airbag, a vehicle seat and a vehicle.
Background
When the vehicle collides frontally or backwardly, the vehicle head or the vehicle tail has large space, so that the material is more greatly collapsed, and the force generated by collision can be buffered to a certain extent. However, when the vehicle is involved in a side collision, there is not enough space between the occupant and the colliding object to absorb the energy generated by the collision, and therefore the side collision is more likely to cause serious injury. Of these, approximately 35% of side impact injuries result from a distal side impact, and the most vulnerable to injury to occupants in the event of an impact are the head and chest of the lethal injury. It follows that a far-end side impact is extremely harmful to occupants in the vehicle. The european union third party independent vehicle security certification authority Euro-NCAP (european union new car certification program/center) has recognized the importance of far-end side impact injury protection and proposed that the far-end side impact test be incorporated into the 2020 regulatory draft.
At present, due to the fact that the bag-shaped design of the side far-end protection airbag in the market is limited by arrangement space, the far-end protection performance is found to be poor through simulation, test tests and the like. Some products are unstable in support, have no hip and abdomen cavities, have poor restraint effect on passengers, and do not protect the passengers from the hip, the abdomen, the chest to the head and the neck in an all-round way; some airbags are unstable to deploy, are easy to shift in the transverse direction and the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body, are easily blocked by the arms of passengers, and cannot reach the correct deployment position. In the actual test, the lateral offset of the dummy is too large, the development requirement cannot be met, and other products cannot meet the requirement of a head protection area and are too large in size. Therefore, it is imperative to design a far-end protection airbag that meets performance requirements and meets product constraints.

In the expanded position, the third chamber 113 at least partially overlaps the dash panel 301 of the vehicle.
In the embodiment of the present application, when a vehicle collides, an Electronic Control Unit (ECU) on the vehicle receives a collision signal and sends an ignition command, the gas generator 120 ignites to generate gas, the airbag 1 deploys along with the ignition signal, and during the deployment of the airbag 1, the airbag 1 deploys to the abdomen of the passenger, the chest of the passenger and the head area of the passenger under the action of the passenger, the central tunnel 3 and the seat back 201. The whole thickness of the safety airbag 1 is thinner than that of other areas at the arm of the passenger by the control of the second locking dead zone 115 of the safety airbag 1, so that the interference between the safety airbag 1 and the arm of the passenger can be reduced, the safety airbag 1 is unfolded in place, and the passenger is protected better. The locking dead zone reduces the size of the air bag 1 on the premise of meeting the requirement of the far-end protection of the side surface of the Euro-NCAP, facilitates the expansion of the air bag 1 and reduces the cost.
As shown in fig. 6, the airbag 1 is positioned between the occupant, the seat back 201 and the center tunnel 3 after being fully deployed, with the first chamber 111 aligned with the head region of the occupant, the second chamber 112 aligned with the arm region of the occupant, and the third chamber 113 aligned with the abdomen and hip region of the occupant. Preferably, there is a certain amount of overlap between the third chamber 113 and the sub dash panel 301 at the center tunnel 3. The third chamber 113 is partially overlapped with the auxiliary instrument panel 301 of the vehicle, so that on one hand, the passenger can be better restrained, and the collision energy of the passenger in the side collision of the vehicle can be absorbed, and on the other hand, the airbag can be supported by utilizing the compression of the abdomen, the hip and the auxiliary instrument panel 301 of the passenger, so that the airbag is more stable, and the larger lateral supporting force can be obtained.
The above description is only exemplary of the present application and should not be taken as limiting the present application, as any modification, equivalent replacement, or improvement made within the spirit and principle of the present application should be included in the protection scope of the present application.
