Description

Drain pump and mounting member for drain pump
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a drain pump which is used in, for example, an indoor unit of an air conditioner and discharges drain water in a drain pan which receives water condensed by a heat exchanger to the outside, and a mounting member for the drain pump.
Background
In an indoor unit of an air conditioner of a type built in a ceiling of an indoor, moisture in air condenses and adheres to a heat exchanger during a cooling operation, and water droplets generated by the adhered moisture drip into a drain pan provided below the heat exchanger. A drain pump (also referred to as a drain pump) is used to discharge the drain water accumulated in the drain pan to the outside of the indoor unit (outdoors).
Fig. 10 to 12 show a conventional example of a main part of such a drain pump and an air conditioner equipped with the drain pump. The drain pump 101 of the conventional example shown in fig. 10 and fig. 11A and 11B includes a housing 110 made of synthetic resin, and the housing 110 includes: a pump chamber (neither shown) for accommodating the rotary vane, a tubular suction port 112 provided at a lower portion of the pump chamber, and a tubular discharge port 113 extending laterally from the pump chamber. A cylindrical synthetic resin lower cover (also referred to as a case cover) 120 is attached to an upper portion (upper opening) of the case 110 via an O-ring (not shown) as a sealing member. The lower cover 120 is detachably attached to the housing 110 by a fastening function using an elastic force of the fastening arm 111 provided to the housing 110. A motor 140 including a stator, a rotor, and the like is mounted on the upper portion of the lower cover 120 so that a lead wire drawing portion 141 for drawing a lead wire 142 is exposed to the outside. The drive shaft of the motor 140 is coupled to a rotary shaft of a rotary vane disposed in the pump chamber. A short cylindrical synthetic resin upper cover (also referred to as a motor cover) 130 with a top portion covering the upper side of the motor 140 is attached to the upper portion (upper opening) of the lower cover 120. The upper cover 130 is detachably attached to the lower cover 120 by an engagement function using an elastic force of an engagement arm 131 provided in the upper cover 130. A mounting portion 132 for mounting the drain pump 101 to a ceiling 150 in the indoor unit is provided at an upper portion (top portion) of the upper cover 130.
In the drain pump 101 of the illustrated conventional example, the upper cover 130 has three portions near the outer periphery of the upper portion (top portion) thereof formed with the mounting portions 132 having gaps with unequal angles. An insertion hole 136 into which a screw 160 for fastening and fixing is inserted is formed in the fixing plate section 135 extending horizontally outward from the upper end of each mounting section 132. As shown in fig. 12, in a state where the rubber for vibration isolation (also referred to as a rubber bush) 155 is sandwiched between (the upper surface of) the fixing plate section 135 and (the lower surface of) the top plate 150, the screw 160 is screwed (fastened) to (a screw hole provided in) the top plate 150 through the insertion hole 136, and the drain pump 101 is fixed (fastened and fixed) to the top plate 150.
As shown in fig. 12, in the drain pump 101, the mounting portion 132 is fixed to a mounting top plate 150 of an indoor unit of an air conditioner, and when the rotary vane housed in the casing 110 (pump chamber) is rotated by the motor 140, drain water accumulated in the drain pan 190 is sucked up from the suction port 112 and discharged from the discharge port 113 via the pump chamber. The discharged drain water is once guided upward through a pipe 113A connected to the discharge port 113, and then guided to the side and discharged to the outside (see, for example, patent documents 1 and 2 below).

Problems to be solved by the invention
However, in the drain pump using such a motor, vibration generated from the motor propagates to an indoor unit of the air conditioner to generate noise, thereby deteriorating quietness. Therefore, as described above, when the drain pump is mounted to the indoor unit, the vibration-proof rubber or the like is disposed between the mounting portion of the drain pump and the mounting ceiling plate of the indoor unit, thereby reducing the propagation of vibration.
However, in the above-described conventional drain pump, it is necessary to dispose rubber for vibration isolation or the like between the mounting portion of the drain pump and the mounting ceiling plate of the indoor unit, and the number of parts and the cost of parts may increase rapidly. In recent years, in order to reduce the number of components and the component cost, cases have been increasing in which (the mounting portion of) the drain pump is directly mounted to (the mounting top plate of) the indoor unit without using vibration-proof rubber or the like.
Disclosure of Invention

In a preferred mode, the protrusion is in point contact or surface contact with the mounting member.
In another preferred aspect, the protruding portion has a hemispherical shape, a cylindrical shape, a truncated cone shape, or a cylindrical shape having a sector shape in a cross section along a circumferential direction around the insertion hole.
In another preferred aspect, a wavy portion is provided around the insertion hole, the wavy portion is provided with crest portions and trough portions alternately, and the protruding portion is formed by the crest portion in the wavy portion.
In another preferred aspect, the plurality of protruding portions are arranged in a distributed manner around a concentric circle of the insertion hole.
In another preferred aspect, the plurality of protruding portions are arranged in a distributed manner around a plurality of concentric circles having different radii of the insertion hole.
In a more preferred aspect, the plurality of projections arranged in a distributed manner on a certain concentric circle and the plurality of projections arranged in a distributed manner on the other concentric circle are provided at different angular positions.
In addition, the mounting member for a drain pump according to the present invention is basically configured such that a drain pump is fixedly mounted via a fastening member, the drain pump accommodating a rotary blade, the rotary blade being rotated by a motor to suck water and discharge the water to the outside, and the mounting member for a drain pump is provided with fastening holes to which the fastening member is fastened, and a plurality of protrusions protruding toward the drain pump side and abutting against the drain pump are arranged in a dispersed manner around the fastening holes in the mounting member.

Detailed Description
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
In the drawings, gaps formed between the components, a distance between the components, and the like may be exaggeratedly drawn for easy understanding of the invention or for convenience of drawing.
[ embodiment in which a projection is provided on the drain pump side ]
Fig. 1 and fig. 2A and 2B show an embodiment of a drain pump according to the present invention, in which fig. 1 is a perspective view, fig. 2A is a plan view, and fig. 2B is a sectional view taken along U-U of fig. 2A. Fig. 3 is an enlarged view of a main part of an air conditioner in which an embodiment of the drain pump according to the present invention is mounted on a ceiling panel. Fig. 2A shows a state where the motor 40 is removed from the drain pump 1 shown in fig. 1.
The drain pump 1 according to the illustrated embodiment is used to suck up drain water accumulated in the drain pan 90 and discharge the drain water to the outside, and the basic configuration (the configuration of the casing, the lower cover, the rotary vane, the motor, and the like) provided in the upper cover 30 other than the mounting portion 32 is substantially the same as the drain pump 101 according to the conventional example illustrated in fig. 10 to 12. Therefore, the same reference numerals (minus 100) are given to the parts corresponding to the parts of the drain pump 101 according to the conventional example described above with reference to fig. 10 to 12, and detailed description is omitted, and the structure of the mounting portion 32, which is a characteristic part of the present invention, will be described below in detail.
The basic configuration of the drain pump 1 according to the illustrated embodiment is described in the present specification by referring to the above-mentioned patent documents 1 and 2.
The drain pump 1 of the present embodiment includes the casing 10, the lower cover 20, and the upper cover 30 having the same configuration as the drain pump 101 of the conventional example described above, and these are detachably mounted by the engaging function using the elastic force of the engaging arms 11 and 31. A rotary vane is rotatably housed in the casing 10 (pump chamber), and a motor 40 is disposed inside the lower cover 20 and the upper cover 30. The upper cover 30 covering the upper side of the motor 40 (i.e., the upper portion of the drain pump 1) has three leg-like attachment portions 32 disposed at circumferentially unequal intervals and integrally formed at three locations near the outer periphery.
In the drain pump 1 of the present embodiment, each mounting portion 32 includes: a substantially rectangular plate-shaped standing plate portion 33 standing upward (in the vertical direction) from the vicinity of the outer periphery of the upper portion (top portion) of the upper cover 30, and a fixed plate portion 35 extending outward (in the horizontal direction) from the upper end edge portion of the standing plate portion 33, and the mounting portions 32 each have a substantially L-shaped cross-sectional shape formed by both of them. The upper surface (flat surface) of the fixing plate portion 35 is an opposing surface opposing (the lower surface of) the mounting top plate 50 as a mounting member, and an insertion hole 36 into which a screw (fastening member) 60 for fastening is inserted is formed in the vicinity of the outer end of the fixing plate portion 35.
Further, a plurality of protruding portions 37 protruding toward the upper side (i.e., the attachment top plate 50 side) are formed by integral molding around the insertion holes 36 in the upper surface of the fixing plate portion 35. In this example, a total of six hemispherical protrusions 37 are distributed (distributed) at equal angular intervals (equal angular pitches) on a concentric circle around the insertion hole 36.
Further, a pair of rib portions 39 having a substantially quadrangular shape in side view are integrally formed (integrally molded) on both circumferential side portions of each mounting portion 32. More specifically, the pair of rib portions 39 corresponding to the respective attachment portions 32 are located at both ends in the circumferential direction of the upright plate portion 33, and are each provided so as to stand upward from the upper surface of the upper cover 30 up to the position of the fixed plate portion 35.
As shown in fig. 3, in a state where (the upper surface of) the fixing plate portion 35 is opposed to (the lower surface of) the mounting top plate 50 and the plurality of protrusions 37 provided on (the upper surface of) the fixing plate portion 35 are directly (i.e., without sandwiching the rubber for vibration isolation or the like) in contact with (the lower surface of) the mounting top plate 50, the drain pump 1 is fixed (fastened and fixed) to the mounting top plate 50 by screwing (fastening) the screw 60 into (the screw hole provided in) the mounting top plate 50 through the insertion hole 36. That is, at this time, the upper surface of the fixing plate portion 35 is separated from the lower surface of the top plate 50.
In the drain pump 1 having this configuration, similarly to the drain pump 101 of the conventional example described above, the mounting portion 32 is fixed to the mounting ceiling 50 of the indoor unit of the air conditioner, and when the rotary vane housed in the casing 10 (pump chamber) is rotated by the motor 40, the drain water accumulated in the drain pan 90 is sucked up from the suction port 12 and discharged from the discharge port 13 via the pump chamber. The discharged drain water is discharged to the outside of the room through a pipe 13A connected to the discharge port 13.
At this time, although the vibration (the vibration in the longitudinal direction and the vibration in the lateral direction) generated from the motor 40 is transmitted to the mounting portion 32, the mounting portion 32 and the mounting top plate 50 of the indoor unit of the air conditioner are only partially in contact via the protruding portions 37 (specifically, in point contact at the respective protruding portions 37), the contact area between the mounting portion 32 and the mounting top plate 50 of the indoor unit of the air conditioner is reduced, and the vibration of the indoor unit of the air conditioner to the mounting top plate 50 is reduced.
As described above, in the drain pump 1 of the present embodiment, the insertion holes 36 through which the screws 60 are inserted are provided in the mounting portion 32 for mounting and fixing the drain pump 1 to the mounting top plate 50, the plurality of protruding portions 37 protruding toward the mounting top plate 50 and abutting against the mounting top plate 50 are arranged in a dispersed manner around the insertion holes 36 in the mounting portion 32, and the contact area between the mounting portion 32 of the drain pump 1 and the mounting top plate 50 of the indoor unit is reduced by the protruding portions 37, so that the propagation of vibration to the indoor unit can be effectively reduced without increasing the number of parts and the cost of parts, and the noise of the air conditioner can be reduced.
In the above embodiment, the protruding portion 37 provided on the mounting portion 32 has a hemispherical shape, but the shape of the protruding portion 37 is not limited to the above embodiment, and may be, for example, a short cylindrical shape (see fig. 4A), a truncated cone shape (see fig. 4B) tapered toward the upper side (the mounting top plate 50 side), a columnar shape (see fig. 4C) having a sector shape in cross section along the circumferential direction (concentric circles) around the insertion hole 36, or the like, and may be in surface contact with the mounting top plate 50 of the indoor unit of the air conditioner at each protruding portion 37. An endless wavy portion 38 may be projected around the insertion hole 36 in the upper surface of the fixed plate portion 35 of the mounting portion 32, the wavy portion 38 may be provided with crest portions and trough portions alternately (in the circumferential direction), and the projecting portion 37 may be formed by the crest portions (eight crest portions in the example shown in fig. 5) in the wavy portion 38 (see fig. 5).
The number of the protruding portions 37 provided in the mounting portion 32 is not limited to the above embodiment, and may be, for example, three (see fig. 6).
In the above embodiment, the plurality of protruding portions 37 provided to the mounting portion 32 are arranged in a distributed manner on a concentric circle around the insertion hole 36, but the plurality of protruding portions 37 may be arranged in a distributed manner on a plurality of concentric circles having different radii around the insertion hole 36 (see fig. 7A and 7B). In this case, the plurality of protrusions distributed on one concentric circle and the plurality of protrusions distributed on the other concentric circle may be arranged at the same angular position (circumferential position) and in the same phase in the circumferential direction, or may be arranged at different angular positions (circumferential positions) and in different phases in the circumferential direction.
The number, arrangement, material, and the like of the mounting portions 32 provided in the drain pump 1 are not limited to those in the above embodiments.
[ embodiment in which a protruding portion is provided on the mounting top plate side ]

In this example, a total of six hemispherical protrusions 57 are disposed in a distributed manner at equal angular intervals (equal angular pitches) on a concentric circle around the screw hole 56, and various shapes and arrangements described in fig. 4A to 7B of the embodiment in which the protrusion 37 is provided on the drain pump 1 side can be adopted.
In the present embodiment, similarly to the embodiment described with reference to fig. 1 to 7B, the screw hole 56 to which the screw 60 is fastened is provided in (the fastening portion 55 of) the top plate 50 to which the drain pump 1 is attached and fixed via the screw 60, the plurality of protrusions 57 are arranged in a dispersed manner around the screw hole 56 in (the fastening portion 55 of) the top plate 50, the plurality of protrusions 57 protrude toward (the mounting portion 32 of) the drain pump 1 and abut on (the mounting portion 32 of) the drain pump 1, and the contact area between the mounting portion 32 of the drain pump 1 and the top plate 50 of the indoor unit is reduced by the protrusions 57, so that the propagation of vibration to the indoor unit can be effectively reduced without increasing the number of parts and the cost of parts, and the noise of the air conditioner can be reduced.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 8, the fastening portion 55 provided with the protruding portion 57 has a cylindrical shape (in other words, is provided to protrude cylindrically from the lower surface of the top mounting plate 50), but the fastening portion 55 provided with the protruding portion 57 may be provided, for example, on the lower surface of the top mounting plate 50, or may be provided with an insertion recess 58 or the like, and the insertion recess 58 is formed to be slightly recessed from the lower surface of the top mounting plate 50 and also serves as a positioning portion formed in substantially the same shape as the mounting portion 32 of the drain pump 1 (see fig. 9).
In the above-described embodiment, the protruding portions 37 and 57 are provided on either the mounting portion 32 side of the drain pump 1 or the ceiling 50 side of the indoor unit, but it is needless to say that protruding portions may be provided on both the mounting portion 32 side of the drain pump 1 and the ceiling 50 side of the indoor unit.
In the above-described embodiment, the protrusions 37 and 57 are provided in all the mounting portions 32 of the drain pump 1 or all the fastening portions 55 of the top plate 50 of the indoor unit, but it goes without saying that no protrusion may be provided in all the mounting portions 32 and fastening portions 55 (in other words, a protrusion may be omitted in some of the mounting portions 32 and fastening portions 55).
In the above embodiments, the plurality of projections 37 and 57 have the same shape, but the present invention is not limited to this, and projections 37 and 57 having different shapes may be used in combination.
