Background
In the field of material tensile test, when a sample is clamped, the sample must be reliably clamped, so that the sample is prevented from slipping, and the integrity of the test is ensured. After the test stretching is finished, the mechanical parameters of the material, such as elastic modulus, yield strength, tensile strength, elongation and the like, can be accurately measured.
At present, most of tensile clamps of a material testing machine are clamps with a jaw-type structure, and the clamps of the type are suitable for dumbbell-type standard samples or strip-type samples, but not suitable for linear samples such as steel wires and ropes or rope samples. The rope sample clamped by the clamp with the jaw type structure is used, when a tensile test is carried out, the breaking position of the rope sample always appears in a clamping area of the jaw, and the primary analysis reason is as follows: the cord in this position is held by the jaws and deforms, causing the position to break prematurely. The real strength of the rope sample cannot be reflected due to the premature breakage of the rope sample, so that the experimental result is unreliable.
Therefore, a clamp suitable for stretching the rope sample is needed to be designed, the clamping condition of the rope sample is improved, the rope sample is not broken in advance during stretching, and the real strength of the rope sample is measured.

The invention provides a clamp suitable for stretching a wire rope, which aims to measure the real strength of a wire rope sample and avoid premature fracture. The clamp can be directly clamped in the jaw of the jaw type structure clamp, so that the jaw type structure clamp is prevented from being repeatedly disassembled and assembled, and the jaw type structure clamp is prevented from causing accidental damage.
