Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the present invention is further described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
For simplicity and clarity of description, the invention will be described below by describing several representative embodiments. Numerous details of the embodiments are set forth to provide an understanding of the principles of the invention. It will be apparent, however, that the invention may be practiced without these specific details. Some embodiments are not described in detail, but rather are merely provided as frameworks, in order to avoid unnecessarily obscuring aspects of the invention. Hereinafter, "including" means "including but not limited to", "according to … …" means "at least according to … …, but not limited to … … only". In view of the language convention of chinese, the following description, when it does not specifically state the number of a component, means that the component may be one or more, or may be understood as at least one.
The applicant found that: currently, the cloud of enterprises becomes a trend, and many enterprises are gradually migrating own businesses to a public cloud environment. Due to the consideration of multiple factors such as performance, regional distribution, safety and the like, most enterprises select a plurality of public cloud providers to provide services together when selecting the public cloud services, and under a multi-cloud environment, the enterprises need a scheme capable of providing unified analysis and management for the cost of each cloud platform urgently. Since the billing models used by various cloud service providers are not very similar, a challenge is presented to uniform cost management in a multi-cloud environment. At present, all public cloud manufacturers are independent of one another, and unified and integrated cost statistics cannot be achieved.
The applicant has also found that: cloud bill native data (CSV) can be obtained (for example, through a plug-in system) from each cloud platform bucket, and then general bill detail data are generated through extraction conversion (ETL), based on the converted data detail bill data, unified account breaking statistics gathering and storage are carried out according to bill authorization and bill splitting rules, and follow-up data analysis and display are facilitated.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart of a method for analyzing public cloud charging data according to an embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 1, the method includes:
step 101: the method comprises the steps of respectively obtaining cloud charging original data of cloud accounts of predetermined units in each public cloud platform from each public cloud platform of a plurality of public cloud platforms.
Herein, a public cloud platform generally refers to a cloud platform that a third party provider provides to a user to be able to use. Public cloud platforms are typically available over the Internet. For example, a public cloud platform may include: aliskiren, AWS, Baidu cloud, Hua is Enterprise cloud, Jingdong cloud, Jinshan cloud, Microsoft Azure, Qingyun, Tencent cloud and Ucloud, and so on.
The predetermined unit may be an independent cloud access party or a customer (such as a corporate user) directly enjoying cloud services. The cloud account numbers of the predetermined units in the public cloud platforms can be the same or different.
The cloud charging original data of the cloud account number of the predetermined unit in each public cloud platform can be respectively acquired from each public cloud platform of the public cloud platforms.
For example 1, assume that the predetermined unit is a clique user ABC. The group user ABC has a cloud account ABC12345 on the cloud platform 1, the group user a has a cloud account ABC12345 on the cloud platform 2, and the group user a has a cloud account ABC12345 on the cloud platform 3. Then, the cloud charging raw data of the cloud account ABC12345 is obtained from the cloud platform 1, the cloud charging raw data of the cloud account ABC12345 is obtained from the cloud platform 2, and the cloud charging raw data of the cloud account ABC12345 is obtained from the cloud platform 3.
For example 2, assume that the predetermined unit is a group user a. The group user a has a cloud account a111 on the cloud platform 1, the group user a has a cloud account a222 on the cloud platform 2, and the group user a has a cloud account a333 on the cloud platform 3. Then, the cloud charging raw data of the cloud account a111 is acquired from the cloud platform 1, the cloud charging raw data of the cloud account a222 is acquired from the cloud platform 2, and the cloud charging raw data of the cloud account a333 is acquired from the cloud platform 3.
Mainstream cloud service providers all provide a way for third parties to obtain their cost data. In the early stage, each cloud service provider provided billing data in the form of a billing file, and in the present stage, most of the providers also provided Application Program Interfaces (APIs) to allow third parties to obtain specific fee data by means of coding. Due to protection of API services, cloud service providers typically have more stringent limits on API call frequency. Therefore, in the real-time mode of the invention, the fee data is preferentially selected to be acquired from the bill file, and if the supplier does not provide the bill file, the fee data is acquired in the form of API, thereby avoiding the situation that the fee data cannot be acquired due to the fact that the calling frequency is exceeded because the API is frequently called.
Preferably, the billing data extraction plug-in framework is arranged in the embodiment of the invention, and for the docking of each cloud service provider, only the predefined interface in the plug-in framework needs to be realized.
In one embodiment, the step 101 of respectively acquiring, from each public cloud platform of a plurality of public cloud platforms, cloud charging raw data of a cloud account number of a predetermined unit in each public cloud platform includes: when at least one of the plurality of public cloud platforms has the capability of providing a billing file containing cloud charging raw data for the at least one public cloud platform, obtaining the billing file from the at least one public cloud platform.
In one embodiment, the step 101 of respectively acquiring, from each public cloud platform of a plurality of public cloud platforms, cloud charging raw data of a cloud account number of a predetermined unit in each public cloud platform includes: accessing at least one public cloud platform of the plurality of public cloud platforms based on an API manner when the at least one public cloud platform does not have the capability of providing a bill file containing cloud charging raw data of the at least one public cloud platform; providing respective search terms (such as billing period, service type, etc.) to the at least one public cloud platform based on the access; and obtaining cloud charging raw data corresponding to the respective retrieval items from the at least one public cloud platform.
Step 102: generating unified charging data of the predetermined unit and containing a triple group based on a plurality of cloud charging original data, wherein the triple group comprises an identifier of each public cloud platform, a cloud account number of the predetermined unit in each public cloud platform and a sub-tenant of the predetermined unit in each public cloud platform.
Here, the triple of the unified charging data of the predetermined unit is determined collectively based on the plurality of cloud charging raw data. The triple contains the identification of each public cloud platform, the cloud account number of the predetermined unit in each public cloud platform and the sub-tenant of the predetermined unit in each public cloud platform. The number of sub-tenants of the predetermined unit in the public cloud platform is usually multiple. A child tenant may be understood as the smallest unit of the tenant. When the predetermined unit is an independent cloud access party, the sub-tenant can be a customer of the cloud access party; when the predetermined unit is a customer (such as a company) directly enjoying the cloud service, the sub-tenant may be a sub-unit of the customer (such as a department within the company).
For example, the sub-tenants on different platforms are defined as follows:
(1) and Aliyun: a sub-tenant refers to a sub-account, a Resource Group (Resource Group), or a financial unit;
(2) hua is cloud: child tenants refer to enterprise items;
(3) AWS: the sub-tenants refer to resource groups of AWS sub-accounts or Global accounts, and currently, domestic AWS accounts do not support resource group service temporarily.
The process of determining the charging data of a child tenant may be referred to as authorization for the child tenant. Authorization of the billing particulars data may be done based on an authorization unit. The authorization unit authorizes cloud cost data to a minimum unit (i.e., a child tenant) of the tenant, whose definition specifies fields based on a unified detail data model.
Specifically, to simplify the authorization rule definition and combine with the actual scenario, the database Schema (Schema) of the authorization unit may be defined as a triple of < cloud platform, cloud account, sub-tenant >. And the tenant isolation rule mode of each cloud platform is system-defined and preferably not configurable. Here, the organization and structure of the Schema database may be a table (table), a column (column), a data type (data type), a view (view), a stored procedure (stored procedure), a relationship (relationships), a primary key (primary key), a foreign key (foreign key), and the like. Through data authorization, cost data actually generated on each cloud platform can be correctly distributed to sub-tenants (namely actual organizations and departments of users), and accurate analysis and prediction of enterprise cost are realized.
Moreover, unified charging data generated based on the plurality of cloud charging raw data shields the difference of each cloud platform, and a consistent data analysis and processing scheme can be used subsequently.
Fig. 2 is a block diagram of unified charging data according to an embodiment of the present invention.
As can be seen, the unified charging data includes a triple including an identifier of each public cloud platform, a cloud account number of the predetermined unit in each public cloud platform, and a sub-tenant of the predetermined unit in each public cloud platform.
In one embodiment, the unified charging data further comprises a billing period, a billing date and packet data, wherein the packet data is generated based on user-defined rules, wherein the user-defined rules comprise establishing a two-dimensional aggregated data type comprising a geographic area field adapted to populate a geographic area providing a service and a type of service field adapted to populate one or more types of service and charging data corresponding to each type of service.
For example, packet data is based on database storage JSON data capability to hold data (costs) based on generation with custom rules. For example, a rule is defined to aggregate data in two dimensions (Region, ServiceType). Wherein Region is a geographic area and ServiceType is a service type.
Examples are: JSON format data: { sh: { ecs:200, ebs:100 }; the method is characterized in that two cloud services are enjoyed in the Shanghai area (sh) of the cloud platform, namely an Elastic Computer Service (ECS) and an Elastic Block storage Service (EBS), wherein the ECS Service has a charging amount of 200 yuan and the EBS Service has a charging amount of 100 yuan.
Examples are: JSON format data: bj: { ecs:150, ebs:50} }; the method means that EBS cloud service and ECS service are enjoyed in a Beijing area (sh) of a cloud platform, wherein the charging amount of the ECS service is 150 yuan, and the charging amount of the EBS service is 50 yuan.
Step 103: performing a cost analysis based on the unified billing data.
Here, a cost analysis, such as data aggregation, may be performed on the unified billing data on a presentation demand basis. Preferably, when data aggregation is performed, data of different cloud platforms can be grouped and aggregated independently. For example, ECS of Aliskive cloud and EC2 of AWS would serve as two independent service types; the beijing area of arilocos and the beijing area of AWS will also be considered as two separate areas.
In one embodiment, the performing a cost analysis based on the unified billing data in step 103 includes: receiving a search field for searching across public cloud platforms; querying the unified charging data based on the retrieval field; query results across a public cloud platform are provided.
For example, when the retrieval field is ECS, the ECS of the arry cloud and the EC2 of the AWS may be exposed together as an independent service type, thereby implementing service query across public cloud platforms; when the retrieval field is Beijing, the Beijing area of the Aliskiu and the Beijing area of the AWS are jointly displayed as an independent area, so that the area query of the cross-public cloud platform is realized.
Fig. 3 is a schematic diagram illustrating an exemplary detailed process of analyzing public cloud charging data according to an embodiment of the present invention. Fig. 4 is a schematic diagram of an exemplary schematic process for analyzing public cloud charging data according to an embodiment of the present invention.
As can be seen from fig. 3 and 4, first, raw data of respective cloud fees is obtained from respective cloud service providers, and the raw data may be derived from APIs provided by cloud providers or from billing files provided by the cloud providers. Secondly, according to the authorization rule provided by the embodiment of the invention, each item of expense data is authorized so as to carry out subsequent cost analysis and use analysis. And finally, processing the data of each item of expense detail data according to the unified detail data model provided by the scheme. The processed cost data can be provided for external services to be called and inquired.
