Moreover, the power cable intermediate joint protection device is simple in structure, easy to install, convenient to rapidly replace and good in engineering application value.

Detailed Description
The present invention will be described in detail with reference to the following embodiments, which are only exemplary and do not limit the scope of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 1 to 3, the protection device for an intermediate joint of a power cable according to the present invention includes an upper housing 10, a lower housing 20, a connector, and a sealing member, wherein the upper housing 10 and the lower housing 20 are connected to form a receiving space 50 for receiving the intermediate joint of the power cable therein.
The upper casing 10 includes an upper casing 11, an upper baffle 12, and an upper packing layer 13, and the lower casing 20 includes a lower casing 21, a lower baffle 22, and a lower packing layer 23.
In the present embodiment, the upper case portion 11 and the lower case portion 21 have a semi-cylindrical (180 ° cylindrical) symmetrical structure, and therefore, the upper case portion 11 will be mainly described in detail herein. Referring to fig. 1-3, the upper housing portion 11 is semi-cylindrical, and two ends of the upper housing portion are narrowed to form two ports. The upper filling layer 13 is provided between the inner surface of the upper casing 11 and the upper baffle 12, and fills the inner gap of the upper casing 10.
The lower casing portion 21 of the lower casing 20 has a semi-cylindrical shape, and both ends thereof are narrowed to form two ports. The inner surface of the lower housing portion 21 is also provided with a plurality of circumferential grooves and a plurality of axial grooves. The two sides of the lower housing portion 21 respectively extend radially outward to form lower connecting portions corresponding to the upper connecting portions 112, and the lower connecting portions are also provided with a plurality of connecting through holes. The lower deflector 22 is installed in the lower housing portion 21 and extends from one end of the lower housing portion 21 to the other end thereof, and the cross section of the lower deflector 22 is V-shaped, and the V-shaped bottom thereof faces the inner surface of the lower housing portion 21. The lower packing layer 23 is provided between the inner surface of the lower casing portion 21 and the lower baffle 22, and fills the inner gap of the lower casing 20.
A plurality of connection through holes 113 on the upper connection portion 112 of the upper housing portion 11 correspond to a plurality of connection through holes on the lower connection portion of the lower housing portion 21 one by one, so that a connection member (not shown) can pass through the corresponding connection through holes on the upper housing portion 11 and the lower housing portion 21 to tightly connect the upper housing 10 and the lower housing 20, at this time, an accommodating space 50 for accommodating an intermediate joint of a power cable is formed inside the upper housing 10 and the lower housing 20, and ports at two ends of the upper housing portion 11 and ports at two ends of the lower housing portion 11 are correspondingly combined to form a port of a protection device for the intermediate joint of the power cable. In the present embodiment, the connecting member is a fastening bolt, but the invention is not limited thereto, and is not limited to this connecting manner.
The seals comprise an end seal 41 and a housing seal 42 for enhancing the sealing of the power cable intermediate joint protection. As shown in fig. 1, end seals 41 are installed at both end ports of the upper case 10 and both end ports of the lower case 20 and are in close contact with inner walls of both end ports of the upper case 10 and both end ports of the lower case 20. The case seal 42 is provided on the connection portion 112 of the upper case portion 11 (as shown in fig. 3) and the connection portion of the lower case portion 21, and is located on the contact surface between the connection portion 112 of the upper case portion 11 and the connection portion of the lower case portion 21 excluding the ports at both ends, and is in close contact with the upper case portion 11 and the lower case portion 21.
In the protection device for the intermediate joint of the power cable of the present invention, the material of the upper housing part 11 and the lower housing part 21 may be one or a combination of more of glass fiber reinforced plastics, epoxy resin and metal materials, wherein the metal materials include copper, stainless steel, etc., but are not limited thereto; the upper and lower deflectors 12 and 22 are made of a non-absorbent material having a hardness (shore hardness greater than or equal to 40); the upper and lower packing layers 13 and 23 may be formed of fire-retardant mastic, asphalt, etc., but are not limited thereto; the connecting piece is made of stainless steel, but is not limited to the stainless steel; the end seal 41 and the housing seal 42 are made of, but not limited to, silicone rubber or other rubber material having water-blocking properties.
When the power cable intermediate joint protection device is used for a power cable intermediate joint, the power cable intermediate joint can be firstly arranged between the upper shell and the lower shell, and then the upper shell and the lower shell are tightly connected by using the connecting piece, so that the power cable intermediate joint is stably arranged in the power cable intermediate joint protection device.
Therefore, on the basis of not changing the structure of the existing power cable intermediate joint body, the protection shell structure is added, the impact energy generated when the power cable intermediate joint explodes is discharged by utilizing the mechanical strength tolerance of the material, the destructive influence on surrounding objects caused by the explosion of the power cable intermediate joint is reduced, and the explosion-proof function is achieved.
