Abstract
The invention provides a display device and a method for attaching a substrate and a display panel, relates to the technical field of display, and aims to solve the problem that the existing display device is poor in display effect. The display device comprises a display panel, a substrate, an adhesive layer, an air exhaust channel and a blocking part, wherein the substrate is a cover plate or a touch panel and is arranged on the display side of the display panel; the bonding layer is arranged at the peripheral edge of the display panel and is bonded with the substrate so as to form a gap between the display panel and the substrate; the air exhaust channel is communicated with the gap, negative pressure can be formed in the gap so that the substrate is attached to the display panel, and the blocking part is arranged at the channel opening of the air exhaust channel and can close the air exhaust channel. The invention can be used in display devices such as mobile phones, televisions and the like.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of display, in particular to a display device and a method for bonding a substrate and a display panel.
Background
Currently, in a display device such as a mobile phone, in order to protect a display panel, a cover plate is generally added on a display side of the display panel.
In the existing display device, a display panel is attached to a back plate through an adhesive layer, a gap of 3-6 mm is usually formed between the display panel and a cover plate, the gap can not only cause visual air separation, but also air in the gap can be condensed into fog when the display device enters a low-temperature environment from a high-temperature environment, and the display effect is influenced; in addition, when the thickness of adhesive layer is less, make the clearance between display panel and the apron less like this, if in the use, when the apron inwards bending deformation is great, the apron pushes up display panel easily, can cause and show newton's ring to influence the display effect.
Disclosure of Invention
The embodiment of the invention provides a display device and a method for attaching a substrate and a display panel, which are used for solving the problem of poor display effect of the conventional display device.
In order to achieve the above object, in a first aspect, an embodiment of the present invention provides a display device, including a display panel, a substrate, an adhesive layer, an air-extracting channel, and a blocking portion, where the substrate is a cover plate or a touch panel and is disposed on a display side of the display panel; the bonding layer is arranged at the peripheral edge of the display panel and is bonded with the substrate, so that a gap is formed between the display panel and the substrate; the air exhaust channel is communicated with the gap and can enable the gap to be in a negative pressure state so as to enable the substrate to be attached to the display panel; the blocking part is arranged at the passage opening of the air exhaust passage and can close the air exhaust passage.
In a second aspect, the embodiment of the invention provides a method for attaching a substrate to a display panel, comprising the steps of bonding the peripheral edge of the display panel with the substrate through a bonding layer; and pumping the gap between the display panel and the substrate by using an air pumping device so as to enable the display panel to be attached to the substrate. The substrate is a cover plate or a touch panel.
According to the display device and the method for bonding the substrate and the display panel, the air exhaust channel is arranged, so that after the display panel is bonded with the substrate, a gap between the display panel and the substrate can be exhausted to a negative pressure state through the air exhaust channel, and the display panel can be bonded with the substrate under the action of atmospheric pressure. After the gap is pumped to a negative pressure state, the blocking part closes the pumping channel to prevent external gas from entering the gap from the pumping channel to damage the negative pressure bonding between the display panel and the substrate. Through the negative pressure laminating between display panel and the base plate, this display device just can eliminate the sense of separating the blank in the vision so in the use to and solve the problem that easily hazes between base plate and the display panel. The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of the embodiments. Fig. 1 is a front view of a display device according to some embodiments of the present invention, fig. 2 is a sectional view taken along a line a-a of the display device of fig. 1, and fig. 3 is a partially enlarged view of an upper end of the display device of fig. 2, as shown in fig. 1, 2, and 3. The display device includes a housing 100, a display panel 200, a substrate 300 and an infrared touch device 400, wherein the housing 100 includes a front shell 110, a rear shell 120 and a rubber frame 130, the rubber frame 130 is disposed in a setting space formed by buckling the front shell 110 and the rear shell 120, an edge of the substrate 300 is disposed on the rubber frame 130, the display panel 200 is disposed on a back side of the substrate 300, that is, the substrate 300 is located on a display side of the display panel 200.
The substrate 300 is a cover plate (CG), which protects the display panel 200. The display panel 200 may be a liquid crystal display panel, or may be a flexible display panel 200, such as an OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) display panel, which is not limited herein.
The front shell 110 is provided with a mounting cavity 111, the mounting cavity 111 is located at the edge of the substrate 300, the infrared touch device 400 is arranged in the mounting cavity 111, a human hand or a touch pen operates on the surface of the substrate 300, and single-point or multi-point touch is realized by confirming the track of an operating point through the infrared touch device 400.
Of course, the substrate 300 may be a cover plate or a touch panel, and when the substrate 300 is a touch panel, the infrared touch device 400 does not need to be disposed on the front case 110.

One end of the flexible circuit board 600 is connected to the lower side edge of the display panel 200, and the other end is used for connection to a main board.
As shown in fig. 6, the inner side surface a of the adhesive layer 500 is a side surface of the adhesive layer 500 close to the display area 210 of the display panel 200, and the outer side surface b is a side surface of the adhesive layer 500 away from the display area 210 of the display panel 200.
As shown in fig. 7, 8 and 9, fig. 7 is a back side view of the display panel 200 of fig. 2 after being bonded to the substrate 300, fig. 8 is a cross-sectional view B-B of fig. 7, and fig. 9 is a cross-sectional view C-C of fig. 7. The display panel 200 is bonded to the substrate 300 through the bonding layer 500, so that the gap 510 and the substrate 300 enclose an air-extracting channel 700, and the air-extracting channel 700 is communicated with a gap 810 formed between the display panel 200 and the substrate 300;
as shown in fig. 9, the display device further includes a blocking portion 830, and the blocking portion 830 is disposed at the opening of the pumping channel 700 and can close the pumping channel 700.
The adhesive layer 500 may be a double-sided adhesive tape or an adhesive layer, which is not specifically limited herein; the blocking portion 830 may be a curing adhesive, such as a UV adhesive, a sealing tape, or a valve, and is not limited in this respect.
After the display panel 200 and the substrate 300 are bonded, the gap 810 between the display panel 200 and the substrate 300 is pumped to a negative pressure state through the pumping channel 700, at this time, the display panel 200 can be bonded with the substrate 300 under the action of the atmospheric pressure, and after the gap 810 is pumped to the negative pressure state, the blocking portion 830 closes the pumping channel 700 to prevent external gas from entering the gap 810 from the pumping channel 700 to damage the negative pressure bonding between the display panel 200 and the substrate 300. By the negative pressure bonding between the display panel 200 and the substrate 300, the display device can eliminate the visual sense of separation during use, and solve the problem that the substrate 300 and the display panel 200 are easy to fog. Meanwhile, since the display panel 200 and the substrate 300 are attached together, a display newton ring caused by the cover plate bending inward and propping the display panel 200 can be avoided in the using process, so that the display effect of the display device can be greatly improved.
In addition, the air exhaust channel 700 penetrates through the adhesive layer 500 to communicate with the gap 810, so that the air exhaust channel 700 does not need to be arranged on the display panel 200 or the substrate 300, and the damage to the structure of the display panel 200 or the substrate 300 can be greatly reduced.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 8, the corner formed by the substrate 300 and the edge of the display panel 200 is provided with a sealing layer 820, and the sealing layer 820 is disposed around the display panel 200. By providing the sealing layer 820, the gap 810 can be better prevented from being filled with external air, so that the adhesion effect between the substrate 300 and the display panel 200 can be ensured.
Wherein, in order to ensure the smoothness of the pumping channel 700, the sealing layer 820 should avoid the channel opening of the pumping channel 700. The sealing layer 820 may be a cured adhesive layer, such as a UV adhesive layer, but is not limited thereto, and other sealing layers 820 capable of sealing between the edge of the display panel 200 and the substrate 300 may be used.
As shown in fig. 10, fig. 10 is a flowchart of a method for bonding a substrate 300 and a display panel 200 in a display device according to some embodiments of the present invention, where the method includes:
s1, as shown in fig. 7 and 8, bonding the peripheral edge of the display panel 200 to the substrate 300 through the adhesive layer 500;

s11, as shown in fig. 4 and 5, an adhesive layer 500 is disposed at a peripheral edge of the display panel 200, and the adhesive layer 500 is disposed around the display region 210 of the display panel 200 and has notches 510 penetrating through inner and outer side surfaces of the adhesive layer 500.
As shown in fig. 5 and 6, when the adhesive layer 500 is a double-sided adhesive tape, the notch 510 may be formed by: the double-sided adhesive tapes are sequentially attached to four side edges of the display panel 200, as shown in fig. 6, one of the double-sided adhesive tapes m1 has a length smaller than the other three double-sided adhesive tapes, so that the gap 510 is formed between the end of the double-sided adhesive tape m1 and the end of the adjacent double-sided adhesive tape m2 after the attachment is completed.
Of course, in addition to the above, the notch 510 may be formed by: the double-sided adhesive tape is sequentially attached to four sides of the display panel 200, and the four double-sided adhesive tapes are connected end to form a rectangular shape, and then a part of material is removed from one double-sided adhesive tape to form the notch 510.
S12, as shown in fig. 7 and 9, the display panel 200 is bonded to the substrate 300 through the adhesive layer 500, such that the gap 510 and the substrate 300 enclose the pumping channel 700.
Of course, in addition to the steps described in S11 and S12, the pumping channel 700 may be provided in other ways, for example, a through hole may be formed in the substrate 300 before the display panel 200 is bonded to the substrate 300, and the through hole is the pumping channel 700.

By providing the sealing layer 820, the gap 810 can be better prevented from being filled with external air, so that the adhesion effect between the substrate 300 and the display panel 200 can be ensured.
S3, the gap 810 between the display panel 200 and the substrate 300 is evacuated by the air-extracting device, so that the display panel 200 and the substrate 300 are bonded.
As shown in fig. 6 and 9, the air-extracting device extracts the gap 810 to a negative pressure state through the air-extracting channel 700, so that the display panel 200 can be attached to the substrate 300 under the action of the external atmospheric pressure.
Between steps S1 and S2, the following steps may be further included: the air exhaust part is embedded in the air exhaust passage 700. Wherein the air extracting part can be an air extracting probe of an air extracting device. By pre-embedding the air exhaust component, the problem that the air exhaust component is difficult to put in due to the fact that the air exhaust channel 700 is blocked in the subsequent steps can be well solved.
After step S3, the following steps may be further included: the air extracting part is pulled out, the blocking part 830 is arranged at the passage opening of the air extracting channel 700 to close the air extracting channel 700, and the blocking part 830 can be conveniently closed to close the air extracting channel 700 by pulling out the air extracting part. By providing the blocking portion 830, it is avoided that the gas enters the gap 810 from the pumping channel 700 to affect the bonding effect between the display panel 200 and the substrate 300.
When the blocking portion 830 is a curing adhesive, before the air exhaust component of the air exhaust device is pulled out from the air exhaust channel 700, the curing adhesive is disposed at the channel of the air exhaust channel 700 in advance, so that after the air exhaust component is pulled out, the curing adhesive can timely block the air exhaust channel 700 and cure the blocking portion to form the curing adhesive.
In addition to the positional relationship between the blocking portion 830 and the sealing layer 820 shown in fig. 9, the sealing layer 820 is disposed at the corner formed by the edge of the substrate 300 and the display panel 200 after the air extracting member is embedded, and the blocking portion is formed after the air extracting member is extracted, so that only the blocking portion may exist at the air extracting passage 700.
