Abstract
The invention discloses a compound cooling agent composition based on menthol, which comprises 80-95% of menthol and 5-20% of cooling agent A; wherein the cooling agent A is one or two selected from WS-3, WS-5, WS-12 and WS-23. The invention uses the menthol which has pure cool feeling, strong impact force and long duration. The preparation process is simple to operate, a certain amount of soluble starch is added to form a powder state at normal temperature, eutectic melting at low temperature is avoided, and the addition purity is up to more than 99% by using a step of elution crystallization.

Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of food, in particular to a compound cooling agent composition based on menthol and a preparation method thereof.
Background
Menthol is a natural cooling agent, has the advantages of strong cooling degree, low threshold value, low price and the like, and can generate cooling effect on skin and oral cavity, so the menthol is widely applied to edible essence and tobacco essence for a long time, and can provide fresh and cool feeling for consumers in the consumption process. Meanwhile, the use of the tea is limited by the defects of strong pungent smell, bitter taste, burning sensation when the concentration is high, strong volatility and the like. Then, people have made extensive research on the derivatives of menthol, and have developed a WS series of cooling agents, which have the following characteristics: compared with menthol, the product has no strong pungent taste, strong impact, low volatility and good compatibility; the product has pure smell, freshness and naturalness, lasting cool feeling and good tolerance for human body; the lower threshold value is adopted, and the cool feeling intensity is high; has strong cool feeling to the skin and the oral mucosa, thereby having wide application field; compared with the traditional cooling agent, the addition amount of the cooling agent is small.
However, the single WS-series cooling agents have many disadvantages, such as strong impact force on WS-5, too concentrated cooling sensation, and less lasting than menthol.

Preferably, the menthol and the WS-12 are mixed according to the following proportion, wherein the content of the menthol is 85-90%, and the content of the WS-12 is 10-15%.
Preferably, the menthol and the WS-23 are mixed according to the following proportion, wherein the content of the menthol is 88-95%, and the content of the WS-23 is 5-12%.
Preferably, the cooling agent A comprises WS-5 and WS-23, wherein the content of the WS-5 is 5-8%, and the content of the WS-23 is 2-5%.
A method for preparing a compound cooling agent composition based on menthol comprises the following steps,
dissolving weighed menthol in ethanol, adding 5-20% of cooling agent A after dissolving, and heating to reflux temperature for 1-3 hours;
adding sufficient water into the solution, filtering out the solvent after the mixture is separated out, and pushing the mixture into a drying room for drying;
step three, hot melting the dried mixture, adding soluble starch into the hot melted mixture for gluing, and then cooling to room temperature; grinding the mixture into micropowder with a grinder to obtain the composition.
Further, in the first step and the second step, the ratio of the ethanol to the water is 1: 5-10.
Further, the mass content of the soluble starch is 0.1-0.5%.
The invention has the beneficial effects that: the invention uses the menthol which has pure cool feeling, strong impact force and long duration. Example 1, a menthol-based compound cooling agent composition comprises menthol and a cooling agent a, wherein the menthol content is 80-95%, and the cooling agent a content is 5-20%; the cooling agent A is selected from one or two of WS-3, WS-5, WS-12 and WS-23, wherein WS-3, WS-5, WS-12 and WS-23 respectively refer to N-ethyl-p-menthyl-3-formamide, acetic acid (N-ethyl-p-menthyl-3-carboxamide) ethyl ester, (1R,2S,5R) -N- (4-methoxyphenyl) -p-menthyl-3-carboxamide and N, 2, 3-trimethyl-2-isopropyl butanamide.
Embodiment the compositions are formulated as in table 1:

Dissolving menthol weighed by the components in the table 1 in ethanol, adding 5-20% of cooling agent A after dissolving, and heating to reflux temperature for 1-3 hours; adding sufficient water into the solution, filtering out the solvent after the mixture is separated out, and pushing the mixture into a drying room for drying; hot melting the dried mixture, adding 0.1-0.5% of soluble starch into the hot-melted mixture for gluing, and then cooling to room temperature; grinding the mixture into micropowder with a grinder to obtain the composition.
The powder prepared from the components is prepared into a concentration of 100ppm, different groups of people are aged from 12 to 60 years, cool feeling tests are carried out, and the test results are averaged as shown in table 2:

As can be seen from Table 2 above, the cooling agent composition based on menthol of the present invention not only has a higher cooling value than menthol, but also has an extended duration and a reduced threshold, resulting in a moderate cooling sensation, an enhanced impact force, and a pure taste.

2. The menthol-based compound cooling agent composition according to claim 1, wherein the menthol and the WS-3 are mixed in a proportion of 85-95% of menthol, 5-15% of WS-3, 92-95% of menthol and 5-8% of WS-3.
3. The menthol-based compound cooling agent composition according to claim 1, wherein the menthol is mixed with WS-5 in a proportion of 90-95% of menthol and 5-10% of WS-5.
4. The menthol-based compound cooling agent composition according to claim 1, wherein the menthol is mixed with WS-12 in a proportion of 85-90% in menthol and 10-15% in WS-12.
5. The menthol-based compound cooling agent composition according to claim 1, wherein the menthol is mixed with WS-23 in a proportion of 88-95% and 5-12% respectively.
6. The menthol-based compound cooling agent composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the cooling agent A comprises WS-5 and WS-23, the content of the WS-5 is 5-8%, and the content of the WS-23 is 2-5%.
7. A preparation method of a compound cooling agent composition based on menthol is characterized by comprising the following steps,
