Description
Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a method and a server for configuring a vbrs.
Background
The BRAS equipment is a product of the business evolution of the metropolitan area network, the business of the metropolitan area network is continuously developed, and under the condition that only the access equipment and the backbone router are provided, a user does not have authentication and authorization management, so that the BRAS equipment is not beneficial to operation management and long-term network development. After BRAS equipment is introduced between a broadband access network and a backbone network, the BRAS equipment serves as an access gateway of network services, provides broadband access, authentication, authorization and charging for users, manages user bandwidth, converges user service flow, terminates user PPPOE connection, provides various service services and the like.
With the continuous evolution of metropolitan area networks and the continuous new service requirements, the traditional BRAS adopts special hardware, has poor flexibility and expansibility, and has insufficient support capability for new services.
The traditional hardware BRAS has strong flow forwarding capability, but due to the fact that the performance of the BRAS equipment such as CPU utilization rate, QOS strategy and queue number has bottlenecks, the concurrent number of users is limited, the number of single-board users cannot exceed 32000, and the forwarding capability cannot be fully utilized. When there is a lot of small-traffic, large concurrent traffic, the concurrency of the hardware BRAS will become a bottleneck.

and sending an MVRP adding message to the switch accessed to the virtual machine through an MVRP protocol, wherein the MVRP adding message carries VLAN information, and the switch configures a switch interface through the VLAN information carried in the MVRP adding message after receiving the MVRP adding message through the switch interface.
Optionally, when the started virtual machine needs to be migrated, a revocation message of the MVRP is sent to the switch accessing the virtual machine, so that the switch revokes the VLAN information configured on the switch interface according to the revocation message of the MVRP.
The present specification also provides a server running virtual machine classes that perform different functional attributes of a vbars, the server comprising:
the virtual machine startup script comprises VLAN information aiming at different virtual machine types;
and the starting unit is used for starting the virtual machine and reading the virtual machine starting item so as to enable the switch accessed to the virtual machine to configure the VLAN information of the switch interface according to the VLAN information in the virtual machine starting script.

With the development of virtualization, the diversion separation vBRAS gradually becomes the mainstream of operator deployment. The vbars product is generally deployed by adopting server clusters, one cluster relates to 20-30 servers, and one server generally has 8 network interface interfaces, so that a plurality of 200 network cards are generally connected by using a plurality of switches, however, according to different functions of different virtual machines in the vbars, different VLANs need to be configured on the switch interfaces for isolation, and at present, the workload for manually configuring the interfaces on the switch is very huge, and configuration errors are very easy to occur.
As shown in fig. 1, an embodiment of the present specification provides a method for configuring a vbars, where the method includes:

s102, starting the virtual machine, reading the virtual machine starting item, so that the switch accessed to the virtual machine configures VLAN information of a switch interface according to the VLAN information in the virtual machine starting script.
In this embodiment, the virtual machine for performing the vbars function may be set by the server, where the types of virtual machines for performing the vbars function may include: CTRL-VM, BRAS-VM, FWD-VM, DB-VM.
Wherein CTRL-VM: the system is used for executing control plane CP management, configuration management, address management, License management, CP disaster tolerance, elastic expansion and contraction capacity and forwarding plane UP management.
BRAS-VM: the method is used for executing interface management, user management, access control, authentication authorization charging and UP backup.
FWD-VM: for performing communication and message distribution of CP and UP.
DB-VM: and the source database is used for storing the list item storage of the user.
Each virtual machine may be deployed in one server, or may be deployed in different servers respectively.
As shown in fig. 2, which is a distribution diagram of virtual machines of a vbars, it can be seen that virtual machines performing different functions of the vbars are deployed in different servers, and the virtual machines communicate with each other through independent tunnels. Because the number of interfaces in the server where each virtual machine is located is large, the switch 1 and the switch 2 are utilized to perform VLAN configuration on the interfaces on the switch 1 and the switch 2, thereby realizing isolation between different services and communication between the same services.
In this embodiment, an administrator may plan VLAN information of different virtual machines in the vbars in advance through the management platform, and set a virtual machine start script according to the planned VLAN information, the set virtual machine start script is issued to each virtual machine start, when a virtual machine starts, an MVRP join message is sent to a switch accessing the virtual machine through an MVRP protocol, the MVRP join message carries the VLAN information, and after the switch receives the MVRP join message through a switch interface, the VLAN information carried in the MVRP join message configures the switch to connect.
Therefore, in this embodiment, an administrator can plan VLAN information of each virtual machine in advance through the management platform and issue the VLAN information to each virtual machine in the form of a start script, and when a virtual machine is started, a switch accessing the virtual machine can automatically configure a VLAN of an interface according to the script, thereby completing an automatic configuration process.

BRAS-VM: used for executing interface management, user management, access control, authentication authorization charging and UP backup;
FWD-VM: used for carrying out communication and message distribution of CP and UP;
DB-VM: and the source database is used for storing the list item storage of the user.
The starting unit is specifically configured to send an MVRP join message to a switch accessing the virtual machine through an MVRP protocol, where the MVRP join message carries VLAN information, and the switch configures a switch interface with the VLAN information carried in the MVRP join message after receiving the MVRP join message through the switch interface.
The server further comprises a revocation unit for revoking,
the revocation unit is configured to send a revocation message of the MVRP to a switch accessing the virtual machine when the started virtual machine needs to be migrated, so that the switch revokes VLAN information configured on a switch interface according to the revocation message of the MVRP.
