Abstract
The invention discloses a method for displaying elevator waiting time, which comprises the following steps: s1, based on an elevator control system, defining and calculating the speed configuration, floor registration number and operation mode of the elevator, and obtaining the time required by the elevator car from the current floor to the floor where the elevator waiting passenger is located; s2, reasonably classifying the elevator waiting time obtained by the operation of the elevator control system; s3, when the elevator waiting time is in different intervals, the buttons of the calling device emit light with different colors under the control of the elevator control system; the invention dynamically calculates the time from the current floor to the floor where the elevator waiting passenger is located by the elevator control system through color management according with the psychological habits of users, reflects the time on the buttons of the hall calling device in a manner of light-emitting color change in real time, and forecasts the time left by the elevator arriving for the elevator waiting passenger, so that the elevator waiting passenger can reasonably arrange the time and relieve the anxiety caused by unknown waiting time.

Background
In a general elevator, an outside-hall calling device is arranged near each floor of a hall door, and passengers operate buttons on the outside-hall calling device to call the elevator.
