Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of ships, in particular to a toe-enclosed end of a longitudinal hatch of a bulk cargo ship.
Background
The cargo hold area of a bulk carrier is usually provided with a plurality of independent hatcheries. The toe end of the longitudinal plate of the hatch coaming is easy to generate fatigue cracks in the whole life cycle of the ship due to abrupt change of the structure, thereby affecting the safety of the ship.
In order to meet the structural safety requirements of the longitudinal toe end, the conventional solutions are: a complex toe end form is designed, and a deck where the thick toe end is located is inserted, so that the effect of optimizing structural transition is achieved, and the fatigue performance of the toe end is improved. The appearance and the plate thickness of the toe end are adjusted through repeated calculation in the whole process, so that the toe end finally meets the fatigue requirement.
Conventional solutions are computationally expensive because of the large number of attempts that need to be made at design time. In the ship building process, as the main deck needs to be additionally thickened, a lot of construction amount is increased.

The rectangular plate is flat iron.
The thickness of the rectangular plate is the same as the thickness of the toe end plate.
The rectangular plate and the two toe end plates are integrally formed.
The rectangular plate is perpendicular to the deck, and both toe end plates are perpendicular to the deck.
The toe end plate and the deck are in welded connection; the toe end plate and the hatch coaming longitudinal plate are connected in a welding way; the rectangular plate and the deck are connected in a welding mode.
The top of the toe end plate is no higher than the top of the longitudinal panel of the hatch coaming.
The top of the toe end plate is flush with the top of the longitudinal panel of the hatch.
The side of the toe end plate is fixedly provided with a reinforcing rib.
The reinforcing ribs are not connected with the longitudinal panel of the hatch coaming.
The invention has the beneficial effects that: the invention connects two independent toe end plates by flat iron with the diameter less than 150mm, so that the structure is continuous, and the structure fatigue caused by sudden change of the structure is avoided. The toe end of the longitudinal hatch coaming of the bulk cargo ship meets the requirement of structural safety, has a compact structure, and can reduce the workload of design and construction.
