Description

Manual control device for door or window lock
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a manual control device for manually controlling a lock of a door or window.
Background
Such known devices generally have a handle, a square actuation pin for actuating a mechanism engaged in an axial cavity of the neck of the handle, and a block for fixing the handle to the profile of the door or window.
Many devices known today envisage preassembly of some components, which can be cumbersome and time consuming due to the fact that special tools are required.
For this reason, it is sometimes preferable to provide the installer with a device that has been fully preassembled and is ready for installation on the door or window.
In such a case, the installer cannot from time to time adjust the configuration of the product to the particular door or window to which it must be installed.
In this case, for example if the door or window has to have a different length for connection to the lock than the square pin, it is necessary to provide products which differ only in the length of the square pin.
It goes without saying that this makes the inventory management, product transport and supply logistics faced by the installer quite complex.
Disclosure of Invention
The technical task set by the present invention is therefore to realise a manual control device for manually controlling a lock for doors or windows, which makes it possible to eliminate the technical drawbacks complained of in the prior art.
Within this technical task, the object of the present invention is to achieve a manual control device for manually controlling the lock of doors or windows, which is versatile and suitable for being mounted on various types of doors and windows.
Another purpose of the present invention is to achieve a manual control device for manually controlling a lock of a door or window, which can be assembled in an extremely easy, quick and accurate manner, even directly at the installation site.
Another object of the present invention is to realise a manual control device for manually controlling a lock of a door or window which simplifies the storage and supply flows of the components.
Another purpose of the present invention is to achieve a manual control device for manually controlling a lock of a door or window which guarantees the necessary fixing stability and a proper balance of forces acting on the various components.
The technical task, as well as these and other objects, according to the present invention, are achieved by realising a manual control device for manually controlling a lock for doors or windows, comprising a handle with a grip and an axially hollow neck, an activation pin of the lock, a block for fixing the device to the profile of the door or window, and a rotation bushing for rotating the handle, extending from the neck of the handle and arranged through a hole of the block, the pin being arranged through the hole of the block and having a front end engaged in the bushing, characterised in that it provides at least one stop ring for extracting the bushing from the hole of the block.
Preferably, the stop ring is received in a peripheral groove of the bushing.
Thus, the stop ring allows the bushing to rotate while preventing the bushing from being withdrawn from the bore of the block.
Preferably, the ring is elastic.
Preferably, the elastic ring is open.
Preferably, the split resilient ring has a tip with a gripping hole for a gripper for mounting the resilient ring in the outer circumferential groove of the bushing.

Detailed Description
With reference to the cited figures, a manual control device for manually controlling a lock of a door or window is shown, indicated in its entirety by reference numeral 1.
The device 1 comprises a handle 2 with a grip 8 and an axial hollow neck 7, an activation pin 4 for activating the lock, a block 3 for fixing the device 1 to the profile of the door or window, and a rotation bushing 5 for rotating the handle 2.
The rotation bushing 5 is integral with the shank 2, and in particular extends axially from a neck 7 of the shank 2 and is arranged through a hole 6 (in this case circular in shape) of the block 3.
The pin 4 (in this case having a square cross-section) is arranged through the hole 6 of the block 3 and its front end engages in the rotation bushing 5.
Advantageously, the control device 1 comprises at least one stop ring 10 for preventing the extraction of the bush 5 from the hole 6 of the block 3.
The stop ring 10 is supported in a second seat 15 provided on the back of the block 3 around the hole 6 and engages the first seat 11 of the bush 5.
The first seat 11 of the bush 5 is in particular formed by an outer circumferential groove of the bush 5.
The snap ring 10 is elastic so as to be able to expand and contract, and in particular elastic and open.
The open elastic stop ring 10 may have an extremity with a gripping hole 10 for a gripper mounted in its second seat 15 provided on the back of the block 3.
In this case, the stopper ring 10 is composed of a sigma ring.
The stop ring 10 is axially locked in its second seat 15 on the back of the block 3, but is free to expand and contract radially.
A stop ring 10 projects inside the hole 6 to be able to block the bush 5 during the introduction of the bush 5 into the hole 6.
In particular, the peripheral portion of the stop ring 10 projects radially outside the second seat 15 and inside the cylindrical axial generatrix of the hole 6, where it engages the first seat 11 of the bush 5, preventing its axial sliding.
Thus, when traction is exerted on the shank 2, the stop ring 10 holds the bush 5 in position, preventing its extraction from the hole 3 of the block 6.
To mount the stop ring 10 on the back of the block 3, a gripper (if provided) that engages in the hole 10' and disengages the tip can be used.
In the assembly step of the control device, the end of the bush 5 initially separates the stop ring 10, thanks to the axial introduction of the bush 5 into the hole 6, until the stop ring 10 is aligned and engaged, retracted in the first seat 11 of the bush 5.
The bush 5 has a quick locking means for locking the extraction of the pin 4.
The quick locking means for locking the extraction of the pin 4 from the bush 5 comprise a flat sheet 18 in the form of a square frame inserted on the pin 4 and constrained to a plane 17 inclined with respect to the axis of the bush 5.
The flat sheet 18 has at least two opposite sides 18', 18 "in contact with the two opposite sides 4', 4" of the pin 4.
The flat sheet 18 has an axis of oscillation parallel to its two opposite sides 18', 18 ".
More precisely, the flat sheet 18 is constrained to the side 17 'of the inclined plane 17 with one of the two opposite sides 18, 18 ", in particular with the side 18', by a helical spring 19 suitably positioned in the bush 5 and inserted on the pin 4, so as to define the oscillation axis of the flat sheet 18.
Since their distance in the direction orthogonal to the oscillation axis of the two opposite sides 18', 18 "of the flat sheet 18 varies according to the oscillation direction, they are respectively loosened or tightened with respect to the corresponding sides of the pin 4 to accommodate the insertion of the pin 4 or to prevent the extraction of the pin 4 from the bush 5, respectively.
In order to fix the bush 5 in the neck 7 of the shank 2, at least one extraction-preventing screw (not shown) is provided, which engages in a hole 21 defined by grooves 22, 23 matching the cylindrical outer peripheral surface of the bush 5 and the cylindrical inner peripheral surface of the neck 7 of the shank 2.
The rotation of the bush 5 in the neck 7 of the shank 2 is also prevented by specially coupled interference elements 24, 25 which extend radially from the cylindrical outer peripheral surface of the bush 5 and the cylindrical inner peripheral surface of the neck 7 of the shank 2, respectively.
The hole 6 and the bush 5 also have interacting indexing means of the angular position of the shank 2.
The indexing means comprises a recess 26 on the outer periphery of the bush 5 and a resiliently deformable projection 27 on the periphery of the bore 6.
The recess 26 extends along an axial generatrix of the bush 5.
The projection 27 is obtained from the material of the body of the block 3 and/or is a separate and independent component fixed to the block 3.
In the case shown, the projection 27 is formed by a tab of the material of the body of the block 3, delimited on the long side by a relief 28 of the material of the body of the block 3, or by a tab embedded in a specific seat 29 obtained in the block 3.
The block 3 is protected by a special mask having a hole 31 for the passage of the pin 4.
When the projection 27 is snap-engaged in the recess 26, the indexing means allow the user to perceive the correct achievement of the operating condition (for example, in the case of a transverse window, the door or window is open, closed or raised).
Providing multiple indexing positions also helps to improve security against theft: if a neutral index position is provided between two index positions associated with two operating states, the thief must successfully pass through both index positions to change the operating state of the door or window, which undoubtedly lengthens the time required to break and gain access to the door or window.
For the assembly of the device 1 on a door or window, holes 32 for fixing screws (not shown) are provided in the block 3 for fixing the block 3 to the profile of the door or window in a conventional manner.
The assembly of the device 1 is performed in the following manner.
The rear end of the pin 4 is inserted through the hole 6 of the block 3 until the groove 11 passes through the hole 6 of the block 3.
The block 3 is then fixed to the profile of the door or window using screws.
Finally, the handle 2 is mounted by inserting the bushing 5 into the front end of the pin 4 at least a distance sufficient for the pin 4 to span the flat sheet 18.
After insertion, the flat sheet 18 prevents the bushing 5 from being extracted from the pin 4.
The device 1 can be disassembled by means of a pin 40, with which the flat sheet 18 can be reached through the calibrated passage 41, in order to rotate its lying plane to release the square pin 4.
Once the assembly of the shank 2 and the bush 5 has been removed, in order to remove the square pin 4 from the lock casing, it is necessary to remove the block 3 from the profile of the door or window.
The manual control device according to the invention advantageously has a structure that is easy and quick to assemble and disassemble.
The position of the pin 4 can also be adjusted in a universal manner directly at the installation site, depending on the particular door or window on which the device is installed.
Finally, the manual control device according to the invention can advantageously be mounted on one side of the door or window only or on both sides of the door or window.
The manual control device as conceived herein is susceptible of numerous modifications and variations, all falling within the scope of the inventive concept; moreover, all the details may be replaced with technically equivalent elements.
In practice, the materials used, as well as the dimensions, may be any according to requirements and to the state of the art.
