Detailed Description
The technical scheme of the invention is further explained by combining the drawings and the embodiment, and the drug environment control device comprises:
a protective cover 1 and a manually portable environmental control device 2. A cavity is arranged in the protective cover 1, and an opening is arranged at the lower end of the protective cover; the protective cover 1 comprises a transparent cover body 11 and a protective cover top part 12 at the upper end of the cover body 11.
The environment control device 2 is internally provided with a cavity, and the upper end of the cavity is provided with an opening. The injection pen is inserted into the cavity inside the environmental protection device 2 from the upper end opening, and the part of the injection pen used for being held by a person is exposed outside the environmental protection device 2.
The environment control device 2 is internally provided with a plastic outer shell 21, a thermal insulator 22 and a plastic inner shell 24 from outside to inside in sequence, wherein a phase change material 23 is filled between the thermal insulator 22 and the plastic inner shell 24.
The thermal insulator 22 is composed of a vacuum gap and a multi-layer material formed by an inner wall and an outer wall. The inner and outer walls may be made of stainless steel, the inner and outer walls may be vacuum brazed at both edges, and the width of the vacuum gap between the layers may be between 0.3-5 mm or 0.6-3 mm. The vacuum level in the vacuum gap is relatively high.
The phase change material 23 may be configured to change from a liquid phase to a solid phase to create an air gap so that the injection pen may be removed from the environmental control apparatus 2. After the injection pen is placed back in the environmental control device 2, the phase change material is transformed from the solid phase to the liquid phase to remove the air gap. Phase Change Material (PCM)23 may comprise a substance with a relatively high heat of fusion that melts and solidifies at a particular temperature, capable of absorbing, storing and releasing a relatively large amount of energy.
The environment control means 2 comprises an environment monitoring means 25 located inside it for monitoring the environment in which the drug is stored in the injection pen. The environmental monitoring mechanism 25 may include at least one detector 251, wiring 252 for connection, one or more power sources 253 (e.g., batteries), at least one indicator 255, and at least one switch 254.
The detector 251 may be installed in the environment control device 2 at a side close to the drug container in the injection pen for detecting the temperature of the drug container. The detector 251 may also be used to monitor the temperature inside the environmental control device 2 and determine the temperature of the drug contained in the drug container from the temperature inside the environmental control device 2.
The detector 251 may also be used to detect one or more environmental conditions of the drug, such as temperature, color, clarity, or transparency of the drug. In one embodiment, the clarity of the drug may be detected by transmitting light through the drug container and detecting the attenuation of the light by detector 251. The clarity of the drug may indicate the efficacy of the drug, e.g., when the drug is cloudy, the efficacy of insulin may be reduced.
The detector 251 may also be configured to detect usage of the medication, such as the last time the medication was dispensed to the injection pen and/or the last time the injection pen was turned on. The use of the medication may be detected in any suitable manner by detecting a change in the injection pen. In one embodiment, the use of the medicament may be indicated by removing the needle sheath prior to injecting the medicament. In one embodiment, the injection pen is configured with a removable cartridge that can be detected and indicate the use of the medication, an existing cartridge, and/or a newly inserted cartridge.
In one embodiment, during removal of the medication injection pen from the environmental control apparatus 2, the protrusion of the environmental control apparatus 2 will disengage from the mating groove on the medication injection pen, and the disengagement condition may be detected by the detector 251 and may be used as an indication that the medication is ready for use.
In one embodiment, the detector 251 may be configured to detect the reflection of light from the drug container and/or the environmental control device 2, so that a change in the reflection of light may indicate use of the substance. For example, during the storage state, the drug container is surrounded by the environmental control device 2, so the drug does not reflect light; upon switching to the use state, the drug is exposed to light, so that reflections can be detected.
The environmental monitoring mechanism 25 also includes a power supply 253 for providing power and a charging port for charging the power supply 253.
In one embodiment, the environmental control apparatus 2 may include a counter or timer for detecting the length of time since the previous use of the drug. The amount of drug used, the dosage, and the amount of drug left in the container after use, may be detected in any suitable manner.
The environmental control apparatus 2 may include one or more indicators 255, and the indicators 255 may be LED indicator lights or small electronic displays. The indicator 255 may display one or more environmental conditions of the drug, such as the temperature, color, clarity, or transparency of the drug, etc. The indicator 255 may also be configured to display the use of the medication, the amount of medication used, the time the medication was last used, the time the medication injection pen was last turned on, and/or the past usage of the medication. The indicator 255 may be configured to display the history of the medication, such as displaying past deviations from a desired temperature range. The indicator 255 may also be configured to display other parameters related to the medication injection pen or the environmental control device 2, such as remaining battery power, etc.
The plastic inner shell 24 is a sleeve structure with one end open, and the outer surface of the plastic inner shell 24 is provided with a sealing ring 27. With the above structure, the phase change material 23 can be well prevented from leaking.
The environmental control device 2 includes a base 26, a cavity is provided between the base 26 and the bottom of the plastic housing 21, a power source 253 is located in the cavity, and the power source 253 can be a battery. A switch 254 for turning on and off the environmental monitoring mechanism 25 is provided at the bottom of the base 26.
The method and the system of the embodiment have the following functions and effects:
drug injections often occur as follows: the medicament needs to be installed in the medicament injection storage device for a period of time before injection, or the medicament needs to be divided into multiple injections, and the residual medicament after the injection is finished needs to be reserved for the next injection. The drug environment control device can control the storage and use environment conditions of the drugs in the drug injection storage device, is convenient to carry, so that the drug effect of the drugs in the drug injection storage device can be well maintained, and people can use and inject the drugs in daily life very conveniently. The medicine storage device is convenient to carry manually and store and use medicines.
