用于炼钢脱氧和合金化的铝镁钛铁合金
本发明涉及炼钢用铁合金,特别是一种用于炼钢脱氧和合金化的铝镁钛铁合金。
对于冶炼含钛低合金和微合金钢,通常是将铝或铝铁等脱氧剂投入钢水进行钢的脱氧和向钢水中投入钛铁进行合金化,分别进行。这种分次投料,使炼钢操作变得复杂,同时也不易保持钢中合金成分的稳定。铝和铝铁等脱氧剂在空气中易粉化,不易保存;这类脱氧剂自身脱硫效果差,单用它脱氧,钢中硫含量一般较高。
本发明的目的是针对上述现有技术的缺点,提供一种能够使炼钢脱氧和合金化一次完成、不仅脱氧效果好,而且具有较好的脱硫效果、同时在空气中又不易粉化的炼钢用铝镁钛铁合金。
本发明提供的铝镁钛铁合金,其化学成分(重量百分比)为:Al40-60%,Mg1-8%,Ti0.5-10%,余量为Fe。
本发明中铝的含量较高,主要起炼钢脱氧作用,1-8%的镁主要起脱硫作用,因镁是较好的脱硫剂。但镁的含量不宜过高,因镁在钢中易形成气泡,过多的镁会使钢水沸腾,镁也会随气泡逆出,失去作用。0.5-10%的钛进入钢水中,起到合金化作用含钛钢的韧性提高。此种铝镁钛铁合金,不仅可使炼钢脱氧和合金化一次投料完成,而且其自身由于多金属成分的相互作用,使其变得坚硬,在空气中不易粉化,便于长期保存使用。
本发明铝镁钛铁合金可以通过两种工艺方法来制备:
一种方法是用铝锭、镁锭、钛铁和废钢为原料,按预先计算好的配比配料,置于工频电炉内,经熔化制成符合成分要求的铝镁钛铁合金。
另一种方法是用铝矾土、镁矿石、钢屑等原料,按预先计算好的配比投料,加煤或焦碳等还原剂,用矿冶炉熔炼成含铝镁铁的液体后,再加入一定量的钛铁,熔炼成符合成分要求的铝镁钛铁合金。该方法虽然原料成本较低,但电耗大,总生产成本与第一种方法不相上下。
实施例
将符合国标的铝锭52%(重量比,下同)、镁锭6%、钛铁7%,余量为废钢,配料,置于工频电炉内,升温,熔化,经60分钟充分熔融成液态,出炉,浇注成块,即制得成分为Al50%、Mg5%、Ti3%、余量为Fe的铝镁钛铁合金。
