Description

Virtual machine data migration method and device
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of virtual machine data processing, in particular to a virtual machine data migration method and device.
Background
Desktop Virtualization (VDI) refers to virtualizing a terminal system (also called a Desktop) of a computer to achieve security and flexibility of Desktop usage. The desktop system belonging to our individual can be accessed by any device, anywhere, and at any time over a network. By utilizing the virtualization technology, various physical devices are virtualized, so that the utilization rate of resources is effectively improved, the cost is saved, and the application quality is improved. Under the support of virtualization technology, the connection between network software and hardware equipment can be more flexible, and the expansibility can also be greatly improved. The cloud desktop utilization virtualization technology is essentially used for uniformly storing and managing various user information, and through simple network access equipment, a user side can enter the cloud desktop to realize centralized management and realize efficient resource sharing.
VDI, in brief, virtualizes your desktop by running a Windows system on the cluster servers of the data center. Users are connected with a virtual desktop (generally, a virtual machine) through a client computing protocol from a client device (zero terminal), the users can access the desktops of the users through the zero terminal just like accessing a traditional locally installed desktop, the users can be connected to the desktops which the users want to be connected at any time and any place as long as a network exists, IT personnel can manage desktop users and data more easily, and the data of the users are safer because all the data are in a service provider. Fig. 1 is an architecture diagram of a simple VDI in the prior art, as shown in fig. 1, a user may access a virtual machine allocated to a zero terminal on a cluster server through the zero terminal, that is, each zero terminal may access a corresponding cluster server through a login account to obtain a desktop image, and control an obtained virtual desktop thereof in a reverse control manner.
With the development and maturity of cloud computing, the use scenes of the cloud desktop are more and more extensive, and various industries such as universities, medical treatment, governments and the like start to gradually popularize the cloud desktop for office work, and the cloud desktop is an integral trend in the future.
For example, for an enterprise, a cluster server may be arranged to provide desktop services for a plurality of terminals. However, for some large enterprises or some enterprises containing multiple office locations, multiple cluster servers are often provided.
Each employee has a corresponding virtual machine in the cluster server of the common area of the employee, the virtual machine provides desktop service for the user, all data of the user is stored in the virtual machine, each piece of software on the virtual machine has a history record of the user, and meanwhile, the behavior habit of the user is memorized.
For example, employee a has a corresponding virtual machine 1 in cluster server a in the first place, but for some reason, for example, job invocation needs to stay in the second place, at this time, for employee a, all file data may be copied to the virtual machine allocated to it by cluster server B in the second place, and at the same time, all necessary software is installed in the newly allocated virtual machine as needed. However, this approach is inconvenient in that for the user to face a completely new blank virtual machine, all data, operations and behavior habits must be re-established. Such a scenario is familiar to many people and causes inconvenience in the early stage of office work, and therefore, a scheme is urgently needed to help users avoid the inconvenience.
Aiming at the problem that the whole data migration process is relatively complicated when data migration is performed across local area networks and cluster servers in the related technology, an effective solution is not provided at present.

It should be noted that the virtual machine to be migrated and the virtual machine to be migrated are in different cluster servers, and the cluster server may include a plurality of virtual machines. For example, the virtual machine to be migrated is in a first cluster server, and the virtual machine to be migrated is in a second cluster server, where the first cluster server and the second cluster server are respectively located in different local area networks in different regions. The data of the virtual machine to be migrated comprises all data, operation and behavior habits of a target user when the target user uses the virtual machine to be migrated.
As an optional embodiment, after the data migration of the virtual machine of the target user is executed according to the data migration information of the virtual machine, the to-be-migrated virtual machine and the to-be-migrated virtual machine have the same data, and for the to-be-migrated virtual machine, it is not necessary to re-establish all data, operation and behavior habits of the target user, so that the data migration process of the virtual machine is greatly simplified.

In the specific implementation process, the target user inputs login information, the proxy server compares the received login information with locally pre-stored login information, and if the received login information is consistent with the locally pre-stored login information, the target user is determined to have the virtual machine data migration permission. In addition, the virtual machine data migration request can be submitted to an administrator of the current cluster server, and if the administrator confirms that the virtual machine data migration request passes, the target user is determined to have the virtual machine data migration permission. It should be noted that the above-mentioned administrator authorization implementation may be implemented after the login information verification is passed; in addition, in the specific implementation process, at least one mode of verifying the virtual machine data migration authority of the target user can be adopted.
