Background
In the operation of the belt conveyor, the normal operation of the belt conveyor can be ensured only by providing enough tension to meet the friction transmission requirement of the transmission roller, and the tension device is an indispensable component of the belt conveyor and has the functions of ensuring that the belt conveyor has enough tension, compensating the elastic elongation of the belt and providing a necessary stroke for the belt to be reconnected. There are many types of tensioners, each with advantages and disadvantages. The weight type tensioning device is the tensioning device with the simplest structure and the widest application range.
FIG. 1 shows a weight tensioning device, which mainly comprises direction-changing drums 1(2, symmetrically arranged left and right), an adhesive tape 2, a direction-changing drum 3, a weight box frame 4, a weight box 5 and a guide rod 6.
After passing through the bend pulley 1, the adhesive tape 2 is wound through the bend pulley 3, then returns to the other side and the symmetrical bend pulley 1, and then enters the whole conveyor conveying system. The bend pulley 3 is mounted on the weight frame 4, the weight box 5 is also mounted on the weight frame 4, and the bend pulley 3, the weight frame 4 and the weight box 5 as a whole can slide along the guide rod 6. The length of the guide rod 6 must be greater than the tensioning travel in order to ensure a sufficient tensioning travel.
The tension force of the common weight type tensioning device is constant, and displacement can be generated at any time to absorb the elastic extension and the permanent extension of the conveying belt; the tension can be adjusted by adjusting the number of the heavy hammers; however, there are certain disadvantages: the common weight type tensioning device realizes tensioning by means of the gravity of a weight, and when a belt is suddenly broken, the whole weight device directly falls off, so that safety accidents are caused.
Therefore, it is urgently needed to design a structure capable of ensuring the safety of the tensioning device, which is a problem to be solved in the field.

the electric winch and the first diverting pulley are positioned on the ground; the second direction-changing pulley, the third direction-changing pulley and the rope seat are positioned at the top end of the device; the movable pulley is respectively connected with the heavy hammer device and the rope seat; the electric winch and the steel wire rope play a pulling force on the heavy hammer device through the movable pulley.
Furthermore, the 2 guide rods are symmetrically arranged at two ends of the heavy hammer device; and the upper end and the lower end of each guide rod 2 are provided with limit switches.
Further, the weight device can slide between 2 guide rods.
According to the novel heavy hammer tensioning device, the steel wire rope of the winch is connected with the heavy hammer device, when the conveyor suddenly breaks a belt, the tension of the steel wire rope is generated, the heavy hammer device cannot directly fall off, and the safety of the heavy hammer device is well protected.
