Optionally, the terminal device controls the application processor to send the information of the data service enabling flag bit to a central processing unit of the terminal device, and the central processing unit identifies the information of the data service enabling flag bit to determine the on-off state of the data service.
Optionally, when the central processing unit recognizes that the data service enabling flag bit is 1, the terminal device determines that the data service of the terminal device is in an open state; when the central processing unit identifies that the enabling zone bit of the data service is 0, the terminal equipment determines that the data service is in a closed state.
In this embodiment, the terminal device controls the application processor thereof to detect the information of the data service enabling flag bit of the terminal device, so as to efficiently and accurately obtain the information of the data service enabling flag bit of the terminal device, and then sends the detected information of the data service enabling flag bit of the terminal device to the central processing unit of the terminal device, the central processing unit identifies the information of the data service enabling flag bit, and the switching state of the data service is determined according to the identified information of the data service enabling flag bit by using the powerful data processing capability of the central processing unit, thereby improving the efficiency and accuracy of determining the switching state of the data service.
In an embodiment, to make a user clearly determine whether a mobile hotspot of a terminal device is closed, the hotspot control method further includes:
and under the condition that the mobile hotspot is closed, outputting closing prompt information to prompt a user of the current state of the mobile hotspot.
