Abstract

本申请实施例公开了图像预测方法及装置。该图像预测方法包括:确定当前图像块是否使用融合模式,在当前图像块使用融合模式时确定一级融合模式对于当前图像块是否可用;如果第一融合模式不可用,并且第一融合模式对应的高层语法元素指示该第一融合模式被禁止使用,那么,就从直接将第二融合模式确定为适用于当前图像块的目标融合模式,其中,第一融合模式和第二融合模式均属于二级融合模式;根据上述目标融合模式对当前图像块进行预测。本申请实施例能够尽可能减少融合模式确定过程中产生的冗余。
